I installed the 4k and tumeshift video on my xperia z1 kk .757 and it doesn't work so i read something about libs and the name of that lib is "camera_libs_flashable_1401941205" it is from @lagalaga and when i installed it i can't even use the camera what can i do?
I fixed it restoring my os, but now how i do the superuser mod i don't know im new on this world and i need to deodexed my phone to install 4k video and time shift
I've made a topic for this:

@vhos96 you should have superuser mod to have it working on your phone. Actually it doesn't need to be de-oxed, atleast in case of Stock .757 firmware.
Simple Steps(I hope you have recovery from your post):
1) Get Root access (if you dont have) by flashing SuperSU by Chainfire (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053)
2) Install Xposed framework by rovo89 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/framework-xposed-rom-modding-modifying-t1574401)
3) Install Xposed Xperia by Serajr (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612179)
4) Activate Xposed Xperia module in Xposed Framework.
5) Flash 4K-HFRv1.3.zip from 4K thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2767005)
6) Reboot Device.
7) Wipe app data of cameracommon, camera, cameras, video, camera extension, etc related to camera.
8) Open Camera app, Mode->4K Recording , Hit Record button and watch your Xperia Z1 Record 4K video.
Beware: Don't Enable SteadyShot in settings because it crashes Camera.
Hope it helped.

No, 4K video port is not available for AOSP roms. I think it is not possible to port 4K to AOSP with current libs of Sony. Maybe it will be possible if Xperia Z2 GPe device is released or any other Sony device's GPe Edition with 4K video is released.
I am not sure about this, but currently 4K video is not available for AOSP.

Hello...first install xposed framework to ur phone..after that open xposed installer and go to modules and search for "20 mp superior auto" and install it..and activate the module..then reboot..now go to the module and select the amount of mp you want and u will have full 20.7mp in ur superior auto mode...
Don't forget to thanks if helped!!!!
Cheers. I sure will once I get down to doing that.
Or you can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3071161 better than the xposed module in my opinion

If you think that Sony camera app will produce a better picture, you are mistaken. You lose a bit of quality when you unlock your bootloader and it has nothing to do with the actual camera app. In other words, changing camera app (including Sony) won't produce any better picture. There won't be a new Version for Oreo with vendor files because of change to pie... A new Module for pie is in Progress...!
What is it?
It's a port of the Huawei P20 pro Camera, which should work on all Kirin-Devices.
With Magisk these arrives systemless.
It's tested on Honor 9 lite (Kirin659)
Why do i need that?
Because the Quality is much better than the Stock Camera. Test it yourself.
Whats Working
- Aperture
- Portrait
- Photo
- Video
- Pro Mode
- Night Shot
- Light Painting
- HDR
- Panorama
- Time-lapse
- Good food
- Document scan
- Filter
- Watermark
- QR-Code-Scanner (v1.3+; Photomode the Button in the upper left corner)
What's not working... (tell me if you find more)
- Slow-Mo (needs stock gallery; only works on stock rom)
- Switching from Camera to Video Mode the Camera closes about a second and reopen at once.

v.1.4. (06.07.2018)
-added some permissons to reduce crashing without gallery and changed manifest in apk for same reason.

-new Camera Version from P20 Rom with minor changes in ui and new QR-Code-Scanner (see above)
- ready for use with AI-Mode (minor lifesinghs on lld-l31 with pre-ported TestAI, cause no (software) AI implemented in Rom)
v.1.2. (06.06.2018)
-added some libs, so that the camera works on gsi roms too.
v.1.1. (01.06.2018)
- added the Camera itself to the Module (one Module and debugging easier)

If for some reason I have to unistall the module and/or Magisk will I have back the stock camera or I should reflash the ROM?
Thanks

Magisk override the stock camera.
It install some libs too, if the user isn't on stock rom.
The easiest way back would be a dirty flash.
When I open Magisk manager and I click on + under the Module menu and I choose your module it open the zip instead of installing it.
Should I install it through recovery?

Just tried this on my Honor 8 and it caused systemUI to not load on a restart. Had to force a reboot and uninstall the module to get back navigation buttons.

The libs are for Oreo...
You could try to add the HwCamera2 folder alone to /system/priv-app/ without module and see.
That should work. Maybe the app didn't start, but you can see missing dependies in logcat.
i'd like to see logcat too, may i can improve something for other kirin devices.
This Module works only if you have Oreo as ROM?

The libs for Porting a from Oreo (P20pro as source) .
It should work on other Versions too, but because the "newer libs" a debuging is needed for compatibility.
The only way is that someone test and provide a logcat.

I try to install it on P10lite with Nougat, now I have no camera und also the command to go back or home.
It doesn't show also the connection to the net, but I'm able to do a phonecall, but now I'm stuck on the phone menu.
I try to produce a logcat with these command:
adb logcat -v long > p20camera.txt
I attach it
What should I reflash to restore my P10lite, System or Boot image?
Doing a reflash through Hisuite, will lock my bootloader again.
After many reboot Magisk manager was not crashing after opening and I could uninstall the module.
Now the phone is working again and the camera is again working on the phone.

i will think about adding the server with libs to the modul too.
btw the slowmo don't works because it has dependies with stock gallery... so far...
thx for logcat, that helps much.

when your device has all hardware dependies, it should. it is original camera from p20. nobody tested till now, cause missing hardware. libs are not included and had to be in your system.
The camera automatic shows the mods which could work.

Just ordered my XZ1C and looking forward to joining this community!
I'm looking to root and install systemless xposed (Magisk) on the XZ1C while keeping camera functionality equivalent to stock quality. It would be great if the solution allows me to keep current with new ROM versions (primarily for security updates). What is less important:
- Ok with either stock or custom ROMs (access to ongoing security updates most important)
- Know that DRM keys will be gone forever (but as long as camera functionality still there, that's fine)
- Ok with using any camera app (stock, gcam, etc.) as long as it retains quality similar to stock
After trawling through this and the XZ1 forum, I believe there are 3 options to achieve what I need (root and xposed), and would like advice from the community on pros/cons of each of the following:
1. Custom ROM with DRM fix included: Unlock bootloader, install TWRP, install custom ROM which comes with DRM fix (e.g. @modpunk 's LineageOS, @russel5 's RR or AOSP)
2. @janjan 's kernel: Unlock bootloader, update to latest compatible stock firmware using flashtool, install janjan's DRM fix kernel
3. Xperifix: "automated" black-box solution and fingers crossed that it works
Any recommendations on which option would be best for me given my objectives? Thanks!
You can use my stock mod. Ddmfix included, superuser mod, deodexed, on the last page of thread you can find fix for xposed

russel5's rom is pretty amazing, full of features and falls into number 1 on your list.
2 and 3 refrence stock roms with either a fixed kernel or automated flashing of all the files you need.
The stock camera is best and as much as I am tempted by rr, I don't think it beats stock camera software for pictures. So I'd say a lot of your decision has to do with how much you like taking pictures?
The stock firmware from April .75 is the last firmware that works with Xposed and one of your problems will be finding a copy of that to flash and downgrade your new arrival.
You might need to get janjan's old (.75) kernel from github as he is only showing the latest 16.20 on his thread.
I get moaned at for promoting Xperiafix because it's paid software, but it's a one stop shop, it does everything and it's so easy. It has worked smoothly every time I've used it
Depending on your skillset and how many files you want to find and flash Vs one program.

- so seems like between Xposed and having the latest security updates, I have to choose one of the two. Or might there be a workaround for Xposed on the 16.20 stock rom?
- with xperifix, can one achieve Xposed? (Whether on latest or downgraded rom?)
- purchased this phone partly for the camera, so I will go with stock rom if that has the best quality. Does stock rom also have a portrait or lens blur mode similar to google cam?

As far as I'm aware there's no way a stock rom 16.20 will work with Xposed. There are several custom roms that are updated to 16.20, but still pull historical parts of the framework with them to make Xposed work.
Xperiaifx will work on .75 firmware. It will install TWRP, Magisk and the fix. Once you have Magisk on it you can install the Xposed framework module (SDK26)
The Sony camera has many addons, I don't know about portrait.
Google camera works on russel5's rr, but again the quality isn't up to stock.
Having been through the pollava of unlocking and rooting my phone, I'd say the advantages don't outweigh the effort and problems. Every time there's an update to the firmware, which is quite often with Sony, you have to wait and hope some nice developer is going to make the files you need to keep up to date. Then go through a long proccess with downloading the new firmware with Xperiafirm, then flashing with Newflasher and then whatever files you need to reflash from the developer. You'll never get OTA updates again. Having a rooted phone is a pain in the neck.

i used janjan's mod to get systemless root on stock. with this you are able to update using newflasher all the latest roms with security updates provided by Sony
you don't have to choose between xposed and the latest security updates:
for xposed, i've tried both Taichi Magisk (taichi.cool) and Virtual Xposed (also via Magisk). both work fine but Taichi is a smoother implementation (only activates xposed for those apps that you whitelist). it is however not open source (yet), though this was not a concern for me. also, it supports not all xposed apps but a subset
the xposed modules that i absolutely needed to have are all working on Taichi: Xposed Edge, CorePatch, AppContext, WeXposed, God Mode
