Fine point stylus for Galaxy Tab Pro?? - Galaxy Tab Accessories

Hello!
I have a Galaxy Tab pro 10.1 and I'd like to know if I can find and use a fine point stylus to draw on its screen!
I know the S Pen doesn't work with the "TAB" (only with the note).
I don't like the "large" rubber stylus…
The idea is to draw and write thin graphic things!
So if anyone can give some advices to me, it's great!
Long life to this amazing xda forum, so intense! :good:
Enjoy
Marteen

Take a look at this, i too am looking for one for my galaxy tab s. So far this is the cheapest and best from the reviews i am reading.
( cant post links cuz im new still lol)
Google Jot Pro Fine Point Stylus. They are by adonit.
It does have its downsides though. A lot if people say its amazing, but the tips wear or break easily.
There are also more expensive electronic ones you can buy with 1.5mm tips.
Hope this helps and gets you started.

Clip On Stand for Apple Bluetooth Keyboard

Hello all... I'm new to this forum but have found it quite helpful in my quest to optimize and get every bit of juice out of my HD2. I have looked through so many posts trying to find information on stands as I have just purchased my apple bluetooth keyboard for use as a note taking device at school. I was going to buy another eeepc after I sold mine, but realized that with the keyboard this baby is actually quite powerful enough to be a baby computer at school. A lot of the stands seem really cool but I was wondering if anyone had found or figured out a way to modify a stand that could securely clip onto the space at the top of the apple keyboard.
Attached is a link to an image of the keyboard to give you an idea of what I'm working with. Seems the space at the top is about an inch. As I can't seem to find one I can buy yet, I've been trying to think of ways I could create a clip on from one of the stands like the smart stand but thought I'd throw this out to you guys for some ideas as I'm not getting very far. Sorry if this has been covered before, but I did do a lot of searching and didn't seem to find anything like this in particular so thought I'd post.
And, btw, I'm Elle. Nice to meet you guys.
Cool idea...let us know if you figure something out.
The whole concept just sounds strange to me. Using a small phone with a massive keyboard just to do some notes. Granted both devices are beautiful but working them both together, er no.
However each to their own and all. I can't think of a way to attach them together which wouldn't inherently ruin either the phone or keyoard but what I'd do if I was so inclined to use them both together, would be maybe buy the extended battery with kickstand and then use it like the image below (obviously you wouldn't need to lean your phone against the wall with the kickstand ).
I fail to see why the HD2 needs to be attached to the keyboard in the first place .
Update - my girlfriend has suggested you just use a bit of blu-tac lol.
That's what I've been doing, just without an appropriate stand but a self-created one. It's actually a rather cool setup; this is the smaller version of the keyboard and it decreases the weight I carry around immensely. The keyboard syncs wonderfully, I just thought it might be cool if there was a way to attach it to the keyboard. I'll let you guys know if I figure anything out specifically, there seems to be some interesting ways to manufacture a simple clip on that I'm figuring out the details for at the moment.
Did you ever figure out a simple stand? I just bought one of these keyboards. and it paired perfectly and all the keys work, except the specialized function keys.
Compared to other available bluetooth keyboards (Stowaway, Freedom, etc.), this one is probably overall less space (by volume) and lighter.
Cheers
Capdase stand
hi. Just to let you know that this stand actually works.
Alright, ignoring the iPhone (it sux anyways. ), the translucent stand thats holding the phone actually fits the hd2. Not only that, I have the silicon casing around the hd2 and the stand still fits! Of course, it stretches as the iphone is of a smaller width. How do i know? I tested my bro's stand and it has been with me since. Lets just say that the holder was no longer meant for the iphone due to the bigger hd2. I.e. Its mine!
P.s It goes horizontal and vertical.
There's a couple of threads on make-your-own stands My favourite is the credit-card one, which you then fold out whenever you need it. Keep it in your wallet/as part of your phone case and you're there!

Old thread, but anyway the extended battery with it's kickstand would do this amazingly

what is the Best stylus to nexus 7?

Hello
I need to find stylus that work good for nexus 7,
I need stylus that write like pen for notebook.
And jot pro not work.
another question is What application allows writing as a student notebook.
Thanks
The Hand stylus is pretty great as far as capacitive stylii go, but i do not think any capacitive stylus will be able to replace pen and paper. Imagine trying to take notes with a blunt-tip marker on a small notepad and you will have the general idea of what this experience will be like.

talk about a LOT of pages of notes. Why dont you just audio record it and go back later to summarize it?
There is a product made by apenusa, I think.its the A3, its small device which connects via bluetooth, and records your pen gestures to the app, so you use the pen on a surface. However its like 130 bucks. The same company have come out with the A6 smartpen. However they say its only for ios devices but im not sure if it may work on android. Again this product is like 130 bucks. Not sure im willing to spend that much on a stylus to test it let alone use it. But the a6 pen uses this tech where it blocks multitouch, so you can rest your palm.on the screen whilst writing or drawing. Source: http://www.apenusa.com
To be fair ive had a nice experience with my jot classic on both my nexus 7 and xperia s. Though it can be annoying to use however its the best stylus ive had to date. More precise and effortlessly accurate
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
this sucks that the jot pro doesn't work... i was really counting on that
There is already a thread for stylus.. Why cant you guys keep the discussion in one thread..
Try the TruGlide Stylus from Lynktec... It has a really cool microfiber tip, instead of the usual rubber tip. Works really well!

I have the app FreeNote and it works really well for taking notes if you have a good stylus. It has several different options and settings and it is really fast.

Depression is kicking in.. NO GOOD STYLUS OPTIONS

Of course there are fine tipped options out there, but no palm rejection and no levels of pressure sensitivity. Also, right when I thought I found the savior (Yufu Pro).. it was suppose to ship out mid 2014 and it is pushed back to early 2015. WTF? They won't even to respond to anyone I hear. It looks really promising, but I cannot wait any longer. It's not like I did not give different pens their fair shot. I recently purchased the long awaited Alupen which has a ultra fine tip housed in a thick body which I didn't mind, but couldn't find a glove that blocked my palm and finger input/did not want to wear a glove when I draw. Another note is there are no buttons so when I want to erase or undo it is a huge pain is the butt. And the thick point pen options are not accurate in my opinion as well as all the issues the Alupen has (one plus to note is no battery needed). Fine tip is worth it.
Is it too much to ask for a Slim Pen that has pressure sensitivity, bluetooth integration of course (My Tab S 8.4 has Bluetooth LE for goodness sake), at least 2 buttons, maybe an eraser tip, and most importantly a fine accurate point. They make them for the Ipad all the freaking time for years now. Ipad has a damn Cintiq highly accurate/quality pen that works flawlessly. It's not like our hardware is different. What issues prevent companies from saving us? Hardware? Software? SDK? Resolution? Latency? Android Phobia? I would love a detailed explanation. We even have high quality apps that can utilize all of these functionalities I have listed and more that I probably haven't even thought of. I have searched far and wide Google/XDA/YouTube and no luck so far. If there are good alternatives I'd love to help people like me who want to take notes or draw.
Wish Samsung could have just included the S-Pen :/
Could you use a Galaxy Note pen or something like that?
I see that hex3 site is selling Yufu Pro now. DO check..
Check all apps support this pen?
Wacom have released some tablet pens for not too much I think I saw?

[Q] Looking for keyboard case

Hey there, I have massive clunky fingers and use my mobile for much coding on the move. I miss the old days of hardware keyboards and I'm not ready or willing to loose root to get the blackberry.
I have noticed many nice bluetooth slider cases for older mobiles like galaxy s4 or even iphone 4/5/6 but none for the s6 edge.
I noticed samsung released a nice one for the edge plus but I cannot find it for the standard s6 edge.
I'm looking for either a case that slides a keyboard from the bottom like the htc blueangel/priv. Or at the very least slides from the side.
I dont want a leather case with seperate keyboard or fold close keyboard as I like my screen and fear for scratches.
Any help either with instructions to make a case or places to buy would be brilliant.
Thank you

This seems really good, www.slimtype.com it's only available in the US at the moment but I have contacted them and they are due to release here sometime this year. If you know somebody there, you could get them to order it for you.

Ahh, Looks brilliant. I was scared to use flip covers but this looks like it will protect the screen more than the generic plasic clunky brands. Thank you muchly. This is the reason I should invest in a us forwarding address.

Thanks again

S5e keyboard case with tab s6?

Anyone know if the s5e keyboard case works with the tab s6?
I like the form factor of the old case better and wonder if there is any difference in the pogo pin configuration. Any one have one to try?
I am also interested
I went to Best Buy to see if the 5SE Case would work with the TAB S6 and while the size is the same it will probably fit - the camera cut out is different - the Tab 5SE has a single camera and the TAB s6 has a double camera. So if the camera is not a big deal for you, it appears the case for the 5SE would work -
I am looking for a case that is a stable like the 5SE - but that has the correct Camera Cut out - no luck so far - but hoping someone knows where to find one? (the Logitech case I found doesn't have any camera cut out....so not sure there is one that is going to work - at least not yet)
I went to Best Buy today and the pins all line up on the S5e keyboard, but the magnet apparently do not. The Tab S6 will not "lock" in the dock over the pins.
Any one else tried this? I've ordered a S5se keyboard hoping it will fit.
Why? Well ...
I like the new keyboard for the Esc/PgUp/PgDn/Home/End buttons but hate pretty much everything else about it. With the kickstand out it takes up a lot more space i.e it doesn't fit on an airplane seat-tray so there goes working or writing on a plane. Stuck on the back inelegantly. Samsung should also have copied the iPad and had the pen on top with magnets rather than the unsightly bulge on the back.
The keyboard for the Tab S4 was great but no Esc/PgUp/PgDn/Home/End buttons.
Could live without the mousepad for a better form-factor. Always use a bluetooth mouse when I need a mouse anyway.
I like the form of the older keyboard also. When I tried it, the keyboard from the s5e would not attach to the tab s6. Let us know what you fing.
The Opposite
I was actually hoping kinda the opposite. I was hoping the Tab S6 keyboard would work for the S5e. Honestly, the only thing keeping the tablet from being perfect for me is the absence of the trackpad.

Well, I can update. The S6 does *NOT* work in the S5e keyboard cover.
not work
1. The magnets don't line up -- but worse they actually PUSH the S6 out so you can't even rest there but have to physically hold it in place.
2. Even if you do hold it in place. The keyboard is not detected and simply does nothing.
Shame for me ... thought about buying the S5e but no S-PEN. Don't care about the trackpad, I can use a BT mouse at my desk.
Oh well, so close Samsung. I find myself using a an iPad Pro 11" more and more
Galaxy Book 2
If you the would've made the Galaxy Book 2 in an android version. Or even better an updated version that dual boots Windows 10 and android, freakin dream machine right there.
Fyi the s5e charging dock does work with the s6, so there's that at least.
So dumb they reversed the magnets to repel the tablet. Sorry, you are only allowed laptop like productivity if you buy our most expensive product. F you. I already have a note 10+. I don't need the pen on my tablet. But I'd love to have something productive that's smaller than my Pixelbook. I realize this as I never use the pen on my S4, but I get annoyed at navigating and editing on its track pad-less keyboard.
Six generations it took to put a track pad on a keyboard when they've had cursor control from the get go. Just dumb. I'd get a Surface go, but it's just under spec'd.
