most likely he was ridding it bike is a terrible rain storm got hit by a car and then went into a deep coma, but had a miracle and awoke after only 3 days!!! now hes trying to put his life back together and find out who he really is but he forgot his phone password and needs to get access! (most likely situation)
but to answer the question if you do not need the data on the phone you need to make a gold card and flash a official RUU just make sure its lower than 2.30.405.1
Ask the person that created the password!

Did you buy it second hand?
Dial *#06# and if your IMEI is 0000000000... then you may have a problem. Ive heared IMEI Blanks cause random shutdowns

When did you get the phone? Has it always done this?
It could be a fault with the phone hardware.
, I would take it back and get a new one.

LTE FIX!!!!!

As u know that with latest android update 4.2.2 Google turn off the lte access. No worries
It just the radios so just roll back to previous radios .33 or .24
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227
Just go to this thread and download the modems and flash in recovery and guess what lte is back.....
Standard procedure I'm not responsible for any damage..
And don't forget to hit thanks

well thats kind of common sense to be honest.
not really a fix but a workaround
has this worked for you by any chance?
I just finished doing this myself. It works, you just need to flash the 4.2.1 radio .33 over top of 4.2.2 and it works fine

Rolling back to the .33 radio on 4.2.2 broke phone call volume.
Returning to .48 fixes it.

I'm talking about the baseband update, not the actual 4.2.2 OS update. I've updated to 4.2.2 but downgraded the baseband, which has nothing to do with the media scanner bug.
I'm wondering what specific improvements/changes were made in the new baseband.
Do I have to be rooted to flash an old radio?

You need to have an unlocked bootloader at least to flash in fastboot.

Ohh, erm, **** knows.
Finding mine locks onto 3G better, slightly better signal, less battery usage.
I wouldn't go back to .33, even if there were LTE services in my area... I bought the phone knowing it wasn't a 4G phone, so I have lost nothing.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to use the newer baseband... LTE service here is amazing, and I am talking a huge difference (HSPA+ DC I get around 8mbps and 120ms ping, where with LTE I get over 40mbps and 18ms ping). Not sure if I want to give that up!!

The network could quite easily lock out your phone at any time anyway, as each handset identifies itself on LTE, so they only have to put a block on N4 ID strings, if they wanted to and use the non-approved card...

[Q] help with my in call issues on samsung note n7000

I've been using my samsung note GT-N7000 for a couple of months now and everything was fine, until i installed the Android 4.1.2 update (Build number: N7000XXLSO).Then my NOTE has problems with phone call as follows:Incoming call:- I can hear phone ring as normal- But i can't hear anything when i pick up the phone, and the caller also can't hear me.*Outgoing call:- There is no dial sound, it does make a phone call, BUT the person i called couldn't hear me, and i also couldn't hear them.*- I also tried using headphone, still can't hear anything.*Apps call:I tried call via apps such as Line, Skype, VIBER and oovoo it works fine. Therefore, i don't think it's the hardware e.g. mic or speakers issues.I don't know what happen to my Note all the sudden. Is this the software problem i.e. due to the android 4.1.2 update?? *Please advise how to solve this problem. Appreciate your help in advance! Thank you.
Its a software issue ... plz download the latest software updates from sammobile or update ur fone via ota in settings of your fone
I think ur prob will be solved.

Hey! last nigth i had to set the alarm clock in Chinese languaje. It was a little difficult but today i changed it to Spanish. Now that i'm in the computer, i did contact my network provider (Movistar Argentina), and they restarted my line, and made me reboot the Phone. After that, it got Fixed.
IT WASN'T A PHONE PROBLEM! it was a NETWORK Problem.
this solution may help somebody else.

Rodrigo
