Hello guys
I am having the issue that mostly wifi disconnects itself and then it connects after 10 or more seconds
.... Also my phone sometime freezes and after some seconds the screen turns black then I have to push the power button to switch it on ...
.I am on cm11 I tried different builds of cm11 but no luck ..... However I don't have any of these issues on stock ROM
Any idea how to solve this ?

Flash back to stock ATT 4.1.1 ROM, take the OTA update, flash Philz Touch recovery, flash your favorite ROM.
The OTA updated my phone's modem version and wifi has been great ever since.

Well I already taken the ota update but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. I don't have a big deal with WiFi.
The big problem is that when phone freeze its very irritating....
Do you know any fix for this ?

For the freezing, try Validus which is an AOSP-based ROM. I use it on two AHDs and they are fine.
Try the modem from the Mexico Retail or Bell as they may work better for your phone.
As I mentioned before, I had wifi drops for no reason until I ran the OTA update. The baseband version did not change with the update but there were some updates to the modem files.

ROMs are here: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=7
Download the Bell or ATT 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 ROM, use 7 zip to extract the file named NON-HLOS.bin file from the zipped ROM. Using a Windows machine,
1) install the adb/fastboot files to a single directory on my computer;
2) place the NON-HLOS.bin file in the adb/fastboot directory from step 1;
3) open a command prompt window as an administrator;
4) install the Motorola USB drivers and connect my booted phone with USB debugging enabled;
5) from the command line, type "adb reboot bootloader" and press the enter key to get my phone into AP Fastboot Flash mode;
6) from the command line, type "fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin" and press enter; and
7) reboot the phone and check to make sure the baseband is correct.

You can flash using the following method (while booted up). Be extremely careful when typing the /dev/blovk part though.
Download the recovery.img file. Open terminal emulator and type the following (press enter after each line):
Code:
cd path/to/recovery/dir
su
dd if=<recoveryFileName>.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p36
That method can be used on any phone, granted that you replace the /dev/block portion with the correct location for the recovery partition on said device.
Thanks

lol I would advise against telling users to dd something. if that OF (output file)location is wrong, or even if it's a mismatched input file is wrong,... well it is bad. dd is a low-level tool, and it CAN and HAS wiped LIVE (running) harddrives; it can do this on Windows (via cygrun dd), Linux , *nix, Mac, anything that supports linux binaries. It can do the same to that block, or directory.

I know. But as always, it is up to the user to determine whether they feel comfortable, and are able, doing something, or not.
And if it wipes that partition, its only the recovery. It can still be fastbooted after the fact, and thats why I mentioned that the OF location has to be typed carefully.

Do this but replace the cwm.img in "*\Myth Tools\tools" folder with the one from this thread or just use the one from that thread up front, no need to hassle with replacing files or anything. Don't give up just yet. It's worth it to get custom ROMs on your phone.
Do a search around the forums here and you'll find a custom build of a CWM based recovery by mattlgroff made for this phone. Flash that to recovery with fastboot and you should then be able to flash custom ROMs without fear of screwing up your phone.
You may also want to flash a stock firmware with RSD-Lite. (not the recovery!)
Some users have had issues with GPS not working until after you flash stock and then go to a custom ROM after getting a GPS fix on stock. I don't know if that is still necessary or not, but it's something to keep in mind.

Unfortunately you need to go back to stock for it to work in most of the cases.
1. Backup your rom
2. Download RsdLite
3. Make sure the software and the att 4.1.1 rom are located on desktop
4. Reboot into Fastboot mode
Flash stock
5. Once on homescreen put the new sim and unlock it

When I flashed CWM for the first time I had bricked my phone,re flashed it with RSD (I guess you are bootloader unlocked), downloaded the proper fastboot files for it and then flashed CWM with the same command as you, so I don't know anything that could be impending you from installing it.

hey guys Im currently on the stock enhanced kitkat kernel thats offered to us but Im having problems with it not waking the phone when i hit the wake button and then i have to hold power and volume up to hard reboot it.
so im looking for a stock sprint kitkat kernel flashable zip but I cant find one. Am I blind? or does this not exist
Grab one from the official firmware zip file and flash it using fastboot
There is not one on the forums but I will grab it from the OTA if you can't find it when I get back home
Also when you flashed the new kernel it made a boot image called boot_backup.img you can flash that via mfastboot to get back your stock kernel
from my XT1056 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Edit: ok so i just flashed the boot_backup.img and i can state that everything works fine it flashed to stock Kernel and i am no longer having the wake issue's but i am still in the process of pulling the kernel for you. but you are going to have to flash it via fastboot
the command you will use is
Code:
fastboot flash boot image-name.img
