[Q] How to recieve notifications?

Alright im stumped..... I had my gear (uk mk7 firmware) showing me notifications, anything from snapchat to Facebook, etc. .. and I could read a good amount of the notification.
Flashed rom on my phone and it started not showing me my notifications. I remember there was a menu where I could choose what notifications were shown on my gear but I can't find it anywhere... anyone?

My note 2 will not display notifications when running a rom with note 3 features enabled. Not sure of your particulars

Very strange!!
May I recommend uninstalling gear from your phone, then reinstalling it from the Samsung store? Could be the rom you flashed included an earlier version? Just a thought!

Im on xnote 7 with ML2 on my note 3. I will try to uninstall gear manager and see whats up

Can you get notifications from reminders set in S Voice ?
I set them frequently but gear doesn't respond to them. Alarm clock works fine though.

Uninstalled gear manager, downloaded the APK and installed it, had a few FC rebooted, gear reset itself and its still not there.... wtf........
Edit: updated gear manager in samsung apps, now it wont even open anymore, says its incompatible with my phone or my phone needs a software update

Fleksy is here!

Its here! Flesky Messaging app for Gear. Available under Utilities in the Gear Manager. Typed a few messages on it and it actually works pretty well for the small screen. Also shows a conversation view, unlike the stock messenger. Really great app for our Gears.

I cant get it to work. When I open Fleksy Messenger in the Gear2 it only shows me the word "contacts"

Every once in a while it will just hang while loading contacts. That will probably be fixed in a future update. Hopefully. I usually just close the app in the task manager and reopen and its fine. It should open up all your contacts.

Yeah. Autocorrect isn't the best. But they are building apps for our watch. I'm plenty happy just having it. I plan on asking them about not including a simple period though.

I'm from spain and I'm not able to find the app in samsung downloads, i have 2.11.14062401 in gear manager, it's any way to get it?

in my case I still make out error installation everything goes the dimensioned forum but still nothing to do and not really to install ....

Only issue I see is that it is not resize able when you use a different dpi then stock so it becomes to small when using something like 440dpi like I use

Why am I not able to download S Note app from the play store..
I can download it from the galaxy apps Store but not google play which has beta access..

After the battery issue .. do you think they want the clueless contingency in the Note 7 ownership *****ing about their S Note app crashing. A lot of folks don't understand WTF beta means. I mean .. how many years did Gmail have the beta label? Google themselves have played a huge part in destroying what beta means. I don't blame them for doing this right now.

Anyone received the update for chromecast support?

It was announced at the end of last month, but I still don't have it. I just received an update to the Oculus app and got excited, only to open the app and it still not have it...

It is working for me. You have to enable it in the oculus app, before you attach your phone to the Gear VR.
Open the Oculus app. You will see the chromecast icon under your "library" tab.

Have you tried it with your Chromecast on and connected to the same wifi network of your mobile? That's rather curious since my oculus app seems to be an older version than yours and I have it...

i dont have this option either on my Galaxy S7 (with latest update's).
i have red somewhere that somebody has an Galaxy S6 and an S8 with both the same oculus software.
on the S6 the casting is working and on the S8 it isnt.
does seem to be an bug or something but oculus isnt communicating about this.
