Hey guys first post on the threads, I have been using this site for a while now and love the great information!
I looked around and couldn't find something post that dealt with my problem so I will explain it here...
Before the sense 6 update I used my stock internet browser to watch YouTube videos, once the sense 6 update
came out I did the update like normal, and now when I go to watch YouTube it just shows the video buffering
but actually plays the audio, just no video...
Has anyone else experienced this issue? What should I do to fix it?
Works co e for me in stock internet browser and the YouTube app, no issues with stock Sense 6

I always use youtube on my HTC Touch Pro.
Now I made a update with the new original HTC ROM.
Now youtube still does not work. I can look 2-3 videos -and then youtube freeze.
Can someone help me ? Is the reason the new ROM from HTC ?
Perhaps is it possible to install the youtube player once more or is there an upgrade?

one question about youtube. I ´ve got the usual google youtube app on my td. and it "works" but very very slow and videos are very laggy. Videos do work when I use internet explorer. How is that an your devices, does youtube work fast?
I don´t know it that is just an issue of my rom or of the td hardware.

im having trouble with it, small videos will work but if i try and watch anything from the 4od section its just connecting for AGES! Im using wi fi too hmmmm
I just picked up this phone and my thoughts are mediocre so far. But I have one issue that I cannot seem to fix. On my android, I would have the option on either Youtube.com, or the Youtube app, to choose to watch the video in HD. I dont see that option for my phone now, am i missing something? It sucks to have a 4.3" screen but with jumbled video.

The stock youtube app isn't that great. There is another one you can grab in the marketplace that is better.
As for watching it in a browser, it was likely omitted to avoid having to keep up with flash updates.

But what about for HD viewing? I added a video to my phone that plays crystal clear...but i want to stream HD if the video specifies HD.
Did you download the YouTube app from HTC Hub? It can play HQ video.

I've recently bought a Galaxy Tab. It's an euro/international model, completely new. I downloaded Flash, and checked functionality. There's a quite big issue with embed YouTube videos - they lag, a lot. Sound is normal, but video is really laggy. Although I noticed that when I touch the screen and keep my finger there, it displays video normally, as soon as I release it, it starts lagging again.
The tab is now rooted, running the newest overcome, but the issue showed up on the stock gingerbread and on overcome as well. I've tried playback on default browser and on Dolphin HD on all ROMs, and ran the One Click Lag Fix as well, nothing helped. The YouTube app works fine though, it's only the embed videos.
I'd really appreciate any help with the issue - I've searched a lot but found nothing on this.
So I installed the Marshmallow image on my Nexus and everything worked fine the first day. The next day I wanted to look some reddit gifs but it was stuttering a lot, first I thought it might be the gif itself but it happend to the next gif too and all the others. I tried to wipe the cache but it didn't work and I can't choose another video player in the developer options. Does someone know how to fix it?

I have stuttering in the youtube app ever since the update. When i have the phone in portrait and i scroll through the comments, the video stutters. If i leave it alone n just watch d video (portrait or landscape) everything is fine. No stutters in 9gag gifs though. Anyone else?

I've got the youtube issue as well, tried a couple of different roms all the same. So it's a youtube issue?
I've got that too. And I was wrong about the stuttering in 9gag.
I also have the YouTube issue. Not sure what that's about.
