[ROM][PORT][CM7.2][ODEXED] VOID ROM Ultimate edition - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Hi guys
I've ported VOID ROM Ultimate edition for our galaxy pop plus
It is based on CM7 bieltv.3
DOWNLOAD

Kernel mini kernel,bieltv.3 kernel or angpysha kernel
HOW TO INSTALL
1.(RECOMMENDED) Be on a stock ROM, installation will be cleaner
2.Download THIS EXT4 tool, the Kernel and the Rom on your device.
3.Flash on Samsung recovery (or your recovery if you are not on stock), my temp. CWM.
4. When you are on the Temp. CWM, flash the EXT4 Formatter tool, so whole system will be converted to EXT4. (Stock filesystem is RFS)
5.After the installation, flash mini kernel,bieltv.3 kernel or angpysha kernel you have downloaded before.
6.When the Kernel is installed, go, on the CWM, to advanced --> reboot recovery (this will reboot the device, and turn it on on the new CWM of kernel)
7.Wipe data, cache and dalvik
8.(IMPORTANT) Go to mounts and storage, and make sure system is mounted (will show unmounted) mount it 2 times!
9Go to install zip from SD Card, choose zip from SD card and install VOID ROM Ultimate edition
10.After installation, go back and reboot system, if you made it good, ROM boots, so no problem on it.

no ..does not work..and i want to ask if this is ported from sgy . can we replace wifi drivers that working from our cm7 rom to make wifi tether work?
and other thing...u have to add other file explorer cuz mixplorer have problem when u put it directly to system ..it does not appear ..so we have no file explorer in the rom....other than that the rom is soooo smooth and booted soo fast ..

Man you are missing the point . Im posting because Im the creator of void rom and I have given NightRaven49 the permission to port to mini plus -which means all versions and there is no need to start new threads when a person is already porting and I dont have any personal issues with that, If NightRaven49 is okay, then everything is cool.

aniket.lamba is the one who ports to galaxy y
Mixplorer works fine as system app, first I used it as system app but the developer of that app is so awesome that I cannot deny its update for users, so I placed it as a user app. But its theme is optimized and placed in system
if you did wipe/data reset after flashing, there wont be mixplorer and link2sd ( bcoz ofcourse you remove them by wiping )
The rom is fast because eveything is optimized and the resources are uncompressed

I have great Bug. I can not install apps from Google Play. I get error 492.

normal cm7 bug....just mount everything in cwm and flash this then format cash

The phone won't boot up with sim card inserted
Hi, I just flashed the ROM, doing exactly as written in the first post. After flashing, the phone will not boot - the Samsung logo appears, then the phone restarts. But, if I take off the sim card, the phone boots up and it's in airplane mode. Well, what use is a phone without a sim card, right?
Is there anything I could try to do to make boot up with the sim?

[ROM][I9100G][GB][XWLC2][15-04-2012]SuperROM v3.1..THE LAST ONE

For activating Black Browser: (only for v1.0, v1.1 and v2.0)
Go to Settings->Wireless and network->Mobile network settings -> Access point names.
In the existing name of your 3G network, you need to set two things.
proxy = localhost
port = 8118
and reboot. Check the browser now

Yes it has. I have provided support in my kernel too.
So just put your scripts in /system/etc/init.d folder and reboot

I've been using juffo ROM for a while and what I saw was Farsi support with a bunch of letters missed from alphabet.
another issue also I had with Stock firmware and also juffo Rom :
Android OS battery usage : 54%
Display usage : 15%
the rest of stuff each below : 10%
Well this is awkward. even I was playing NFS for a long time just 8% but android OS always > 50%

the android OS battery usage is more like a bug, i am not sure which method i used to get rid of that.
basically i followed one of the thread in xda, saying that from CWM, must do factory wipe and cache wipe, maybe dalvik too. but i've also uninstalled most of the default samsung apps, like all HUB apps.
So i am not sure which solution actually work here in this case. but right now android os usage is only 5% for me after one whole day

dude you totally miss understood we are talking about something else not this ROM. don't feel down just install and enjoy it. just make sure your is i9100G coz got saw another people in juz now shared by mistake he installed on i9100 and bricked the phone. no offense just friendly tips.

Noobs Guide to Flashing :-
1. Transfer ROM zip to sd card
2. Boot into recovery by holding home + volume down + power button to enter into recovery mode
3. Wipe data/ factory reset
4. Wipe cache partition
5. Advanced/ wipe dalvik cache
6. Advanced/ wipe battery stats
7. Mount and storage/ format system
8. Install zip from sdcard/ choose zip from sdcard and select the ROM zip
9. Reboot n Enjoy

ROM OPTIMIZATION GUIDE
This is all abt how to get the most of UI - One MIUI PUREVIEW ROM "
After being 3 days on miui, I had tried out various things to make ROM smoother n better. Some worked while some not. So instead of providing a new build (to avoid all the hassles of downloading and flashing),I present a guide to make your existing MIUI better and the best part is that you can choose what suits you . If you are reading this then I assume that you have already flashed the ROM

I found it to be the most balanced kernel in terms of performance in battery life, v2.5.6 of DJNoxD is draining a lot of juice
2. Disable icon shadow & high resolution graphics in launcher settings for butter smooth scrolling
3. Feel like you might get haunted with Brightness Bug!! Well i couldn't solve it as of now but those who are conscious enough not to move slider to the least, its well and good but those who are not,just dont worry, i have got a script for you
-> Download Script here and place it on root directory of sd card.
-> Download Script Manager
-> Set it to execute this script on boot and give su permission to the script by clicking on boot & SU icons above (don't forget to enable root permission in the first dialog box which appears on starting the app)
What this script does is, on execution sets the brightness value to 100 (max brightness is 255)
So if u ever fall in a condition that you reduce the brightness to minimum and get a complete black out, just pull out the battery and restart the phone and brightness will get set to 100 after 1-2 minutes of boot.
4. Stuck on HDPI lockscreen with no way to unlock!!, just hold down back button and press volume + key for emergency unlock
5. Recommended Apps:-

-> Video:- MX Video Player
-> Gallery:- Quickpic
-> Camera:- Camera Zoom FX

FACING ISSUE LIKE THIS!!
Here's a guide to fix it
1. Get the .mtz file of the theme u r facing the issue and rename the extension to .zip instead of .mtz and unzip the renamed zip file.
2. Here u will find com.android.systemui without any extension. Add .zip extension to it and extract it.
3. In the extracted folder find statusbar_background.9.png. You will see no status bar image in it if you open it with image viewer.
4. This folder will have another file with name like status bar background having image of status bar that you see while on home screen.
5. Create copy of image found in step 4 and rename it to the name of the file found in step 3.
6. Replaced the file of step 3 with renamed file of step 5
7. Now zip back the whole contents of the com.android.systemui and remove zip extension
8. Place this in the extracted folder you got in step 1 and zip all the contents, then replace .zip extension with .mtz
9. Place this in miui theme folder and apply

thanks...i will wait till you add my language. my language is not included in any miui rom till now but it is there in cm7 and cm9 roms.is there anyway to add my language myself? i just use it in messaging not for menus.

thats a heck of work, decompile framework and system ui and translate each n every string, so developer and porters depend on English more or less to avoid hassle..

Just back from work & wtf Fundooz is back Currently i m hoping from MIUI v4 roms when Zack released his 1st build then Kaio Ken vice versa whichever seemed to be good enough for the moment..as i have used your MIUI GB & v4 rom earlier(i guess u know) they are promising..now i have two main concerns ie, battery & stability without any fatal bugs bcoz dont get enough time to experiment I wish this rom will rock..definitely flash after seeing some reviews..btw will the MIUI v4 themes work on this(i guess NO ) Does this based on the latest CM7 nightly??&& do mention the dates in the changelogs in future..ALL D BEST

I don't have wifi anymore so I can't download ROM's at random now, so it is based on some nightly I had but I find it stable
And abt ROM, so far so good and stable and can't tell abt battery atm. Well it wont be updated often coz the bugs I found are not a great deal and m having exams on head but can't resist myself from new miui

INSTRUCTIONS AND DOWNLOADS
The first thing I recommend you to do is to preform a nandroid backup (it's optional, but highly recommendable).
Secondly, if you want a clean install, get the XXMA3 Stock Firmware from HERE. This is a stock firmware package ready to be flashed through Odin and it's the one I've used as base. I've downloaded it from SamMobile and then created it using SplitFUS2.
Don't know how to use Odin? Click HERE!
Relevant downloads:
Download ClockWorkMod Recovery (if you don't have it already). Don't know where to download it? Just search for Millan.SIS CWM (for example)
Download TransfROMers_V1_2.zip (Please don't make any mirrors...)
Optional downloads:
Download and extract Rings_Notif_Alarms.rar -> OPTIONAL! Not needed for the ROM to work. These are just some custom ringtones, notifications and alarms arranged by me.
Download and extract Original Sounds.rar -> OPTIONAL! Only if you want the original stock sounds (in case you don't enjoy the ones included with the ROM).
Download and extract APK.rar -> OPTIONAL! These are just some cool apps that I use (specially Noozy Player).
Enough downloading, let's get started:
Place the downloaded zip file (and optional extracted folders) on your SD Card's root.
Turn off the phone
Access stock Recovery (Turn on the phone with this Key combo -> Long press Home+Volume up+Power Button)
Choose Wipe DATA
Choose Wipe CACHE
Choose Apply Update from SD card
Choose CWM -> you will boot into CWM Recovery
Wipe DATA and CACHE again via CWM
Go to Advanced
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Wipe Battery Stats (only if your Battery is full, otherwise, don't do it)
Press Back Button
Choose Install zip From SDCARD
Choose zip From SDCARD
Select -> TransfROMers_V1_2.zip
Choose “yes...."
Wait for the Rom's installation to finish
Press Back Button and choose "Reboot"
DONE!

NOTES
Since I didn't include kuro's data2sd script, I recommend you to use Links2SD in order to minimize the phone's storage. Don't know how to use it? Just click HERE.
Deadly's compact kernel has "THE" brightness bug. In order to fix that, just access CPU control and set the Freq. min clock to 312Mhz. For more information about this, click HERE.
Don't forget to enable all windows animations.

We are using different build of that kernel....
These sounds are too loud for late night....
One more thing - no init.d folder in /etc.... Is init.d supported?
Apps in launcher are in some random order for me...
I got only 4 icons on my launcher's dock.....

Yes init.d is supported (the kernel supports it).
The folder doesn't exist simply because I didn't add any script. But anyone is able to add they're favorite scripts.
You may ask why I didn't add any script...that's simple, because I didn't felt the need to.

Speed is good but it lags on scrolling.... But in some apps only.....
WiFi seems to be a little bit slower as it should be....

INSTRUCTIONS
RECOMMENDED TO FLASH STOCK ROM WITH ODIN BEFORE FLASHING THIS ROM!
1. Download the Ace-i-scape rom, clockworkmod recovery and the specific bieltv3 kernel 3.0
2. Copy them in the root of your sdcard.
3. Boot into STOCK recovery > wipe data > apply update > ClockWorkRec5830i.zip
4. Now you are in cwm > wipe data > wipe cache > wipe dalvik cache
5. Install zip from sdcard and select the bieltv3 kernel 3.0 that you have downloaded.
6. Now go to Advanced and reboot recovery.
7. Now you will have CWM by default > install zip from sdcard and select the Rom zip.
8. After installation is over,reboot and Enjoy!

Question to OP, with CM7.2 still at RC stage, why not port 1 rom and improvise on it? No harm in porting more roms, but it makes more sense when you using a bug free base rom.

Yea..I fully agree with you 'a bugless rom is always better'.But I loved this rom and its probably the only cm7 Rom now with sony UI in it.
That is the reason I ported this Rom.
btw I will be updating my Roms as and when new fixes come out or if I feel like adding more features or if I get good feedback This is just to start Things off
So Improvisations will come.:good: and eventhough it is in RC stage it is good enough to be a daily driver
This is for people who don't want plain CM7 and are ready to live with a few small bugs.

I too love to build CM 7.2 based ROMs. But now a days I can't work on multiple projects. If OP have enough time to update his ROMs to the future builds of CM 7.2, he has the right to do that.
When people are building roms based on earlier versions of buggy CM 7.2, I too criticized them. Hope we will get a bugless CM nearby future, then this section will be full of cm based roms !

Nice ROM, Gona TRy It, ASA I get time XD

I like the style in this rom !

The rom is very beautiful. Gapps not included. Some problems of animations with the notification bar. Little slow in some animations. This my first opinion. The rom(great rom) is in test

I like this rom cause it has a lot of extra customization but I always encountered force close.. Status GrimReaper also force close whenever I make a choice.. One more thing, when I change the theme why the icons is not changing?Only the settings background is changing.. Overall , beautiful rom.. EDIT : After restart, the icon is changing.. THanks for this awesome rom.. hope U can fix the force close on grimreaper settings..

Thanks for trying The notification bar is like that only.The two page layout makes it slightly buggy

I think you mean Statusbar greper?
Only some options work in that like moving the clock etc...Certain options give fcs.The same app fcs even on stock based roms on some options.
So I don't know whether I will be able to fix it..

what the ****? tabbed settings? i though it is impossible to port it in cyanogenmod 7. how did they do that.. by the way i like the ui. its good.....

Tips:

Before asking about problems & customizations i suggest to search in the thread,probably you'll find the solution
This rom will not wipe your data(if yo came from a previous version you'll keep personal settings and apps)
But i always suggest a clean installation to avoid problems!
If you think this version have more app then my "standard" you can use SystemCleanUp to uninstall what you don't need
If you are on ODEXED version,i suggest to use SystemCleanUp to re-odex apks after updating them through market or other ways(you'll gain in speed and partition free space)
More free ram?: under system apps or with Systemcleanup disable/freeze "Google Play Services" : is useless and eat many resources...(unfreeze it only if you wanna update it,but not needed)
Except for the mentioned features it's Stock,so it is not supercharged,or init.d tweak etc.(in this way everyone can add his own tweak and further increase performance)

FULL WIPE IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED!!
This time i returned to the classic flashable zip so no more needed to make 2 or three step during installation...
To install it simply flash the zip in recovery(Ray users),it will not delete your data partitions,so if you are coming from a previous version you should not loose your data&settings,but i Always suggest a clean install(wipe data,cache etc...).
During installation the zip will create 2 folders on your sdcard:
"LightningLauncher":
needed at first boot(open apps drawer-menu-customize lightning-restore-select SuperleggeraV7) to restore my ideal configuration for it (swipe to Right for photo,swipe to left for video,swipe up open apps,swipe down expand notifications,keep press on home for music,two click on home for quickpic,menu button for task manager,home button for dialer,two finger swipe up to add item).
"SuperleggeraV7_PATCHES":
here you can find the various devices specific Patches for Arc,Arc-S,Neo,NeoV,Pro,cwm and init.d for locked bootloader.
REMEMBER TO FLASH IT BEFORE YOU EXIT FROM CWM!!!!!!!!!!
Rom is fully deodexed so you don't have to worry about installing mods(lately i'll upload new ones)...BUT...i've included a flashable zip to reodex the rom when you want inside sdcard/SuperleggeraV7_PATCHES/odexer.......

This is not meant to be an explanation of the difference between a rom odexed and deodexed, rather only a few tips on how to behave when dealing with applications and mods in my Superleggera Rom.
There are many threads on XDA that explain the difference in a "scientific" way.
However, we can conclude that a rom (or application) ODEXED is faster, takes up less storage space and ram .....
BUT it is very difficult (sometimes impossible) to modify.
For this reason I advise you to install everything that you need (especially mods containing framework files) BEFORE you apply my odexer zip.
....Or even better if you kept a deodexed CWM backup from which to start if something goes wrong....

Well I'm downloading it but your superleggerav7beta was working fine on my locked bootloader so I guess it should work this time aswell

Hdmi is working ok,OTG&NTFS are kernel related,so if you need them use a kernel(and his modules)who support it..
Sony stock firmware don't support themes from Play.

ALS is working,try put the phone under a brightlight and cover/discover the light sensor...

I just flashed Notifier remove data mod => It crashed after the first reboot. Back in cwm , I reflashed the mod, flashed the odexer then wiped cache and everything back to normal.
Just one thing but I think nothing to do with your rom, just funny: on the mobile web version of facebook, I do not have any writings anymore :laugh:

In MODS you will find all needed files,for nova there must not problem..
