i search the forums on the at&t galaxy s5 and didnt find a thread on this subject, if there is sorry for not looking better for it. with the at&t galaxy s5 and verizon galaxy s5 getting root later today, do you think development will start with all kinds of different roms and kernels, after the devs get root on their devices ?
i put this question in the wrong forum. could a moderator move this question to the Q & A forum ?
Not too sure about custom roms yet, I think the bootloader will still be locked down like fort knox (pun intended).
No, there won't be any development ever for the at&t s5
Lmao

Can we please get one of you talented devs to work on an ics rom for the att note? I'd be willing to donate for your work.

What part of
" [NOTICE] If YOU DID NOT CREATE "it" THEN IT DOESN'T BELONG IN DEVELOPMENT"
are you not understanding? This belongs in the General Discussion area.

N7000 = Non LTE "international" version.
Though he may not be in the right thread
You may notice that his request is that a dev from from the international note forum help make a LTE version.
I'm guessing that since the LTE version just came out, the people over there are eager for some ICS ROMs.
To the OP.
Just be patient, eventually some devs will start making stuff for the CDMA/LTE version. Or as the ICS ROM matures, some devs make both GSM and CDMA versions of their ROMs.
be patient. we might have ics for our note but its not as stable as you think for a daily rom
That's what you get for buying at&t. You knew beforehand it would have worse dev support so don't whine.

I agree. In fact as much as I like to ROM my galaxy nexus, I haven't done my Note yet due to the fact that we don't have (m)any mature ROMs.
I think a lot of the people (on both sides of the fence) are waiting till a more mature, official ICS ROM comes out before we take the plunge.
Right now, I'm just enjoying my phone and not worrying too much about customizations (I have my Nexus to blow up on a daily/weekly basis for that).
Can a mod close this thread This doesnt belong in our forum or the dev section. At&t Galaxy Notes have no ICS leaks. You can hope for CM9, but the At&t crapdragon powered Note is completely different from ours.

please move
Or you can just sell the crapdragon note and get the intl version. I did the same.
Thanks for those of you that provided constructive feedback. I apologize for breaking the forum rules as my intent was not to offend anyone. I actually started with the international note and sold it for the att version because of the Lte capability. I will just have to be patient and wait. But I will say getting 50mbps download speeds on att Lte network is hard to give up and go back to the international note which is only hspa+ capable.
Thanks again. I really admire you guys and your work.

I realised a time ago that I have purchased a girls phone
Every Dev or mega geek buys these bloody great mega sized phones packed with spec busting power. The s3 mini just too normal.

I think is cuz not so many people has it. Not because its a girly phone, cuz is not. I came from Atrix 4g that has many custom roms and in specs is similar to the s3 mini.
Exactly the same phone I came from mostly due to specs too.

Hi, quick question and topic.
I've overcame a ton of comments primarily from last years release of the Samsung G730A S III Mini model claiming root to no root outcomes.
Is the community for devs still trying to open a port or a guide for a successful G730A root?
I ask this as I see that we were the only form of outcasted Mini users.
If that be said, what are the chances that KitKat could make for an easier root process?
Also, anyone know if a kdz flash is possible for this device?
I ask this after my first Android :sly: Thrill 4G was one of the outcasted phone that finally got a root with a kdz flash, the Thrill forum lost all support and anyone interested in new roms had to stay on a EU dedicated kdz that was promised a developer and rom set.
Basically stating that all users were stuck on an EU Baseband with 3G and sometimes 4G LTE if the rom provided even that.

Bumping!
I'm not gonna watch a phone die out because people won't go out of their way to help the G730A community!
There's someone hiding in the dark and not giving answers.
Now we just sit here and watch others gloat and boast about their root? Whenever someone even mentions G730A in a thread the thread just dies out of communication.

Yeah... like seriously! I got the phone when it came out in sept 2013 and been waiting ever since. I voided my warranty by letting an idiot friend drop my phone, with physical damage to the bezel of the phone, I can now root it and do whatever I want. I'm still waiting. But to be honest, I'd rather have the s4 for the bigger screen. But until then I am waiting for kitkat.
Can we install roms from the galaxy note 3 forum? Saw a lot more options there, not saying the ones on this forum aren't good in any way but would like more options.
Our bootloader is locked tight by at&t. Flashing Roms is not something we can just do easily on this device . Due to this... A lot of early buyers just moved on and so did a lot of devs. Hence the lesser Dev activity. There are a few brave ones working hard to keep the N900a alive. And they are the ones you see in the Dev section.

This forum is meant for the ATT Note 4s. You should post this question in the TMOBILE Note 4 forum where the people you are asking this question are.

I'm on AT&T. I wanted to know what rom AT&T users are on who are using a rooted tmo note 4. Can you please move this thread back to the AT&T forum?
Still using Firekat. never done me wrong to make we want to change lol.
FireKat or Poprocks, by Dev: Mega.... it's the best ROM for the Note 4. I invite anyone to prove me wrong lol...I average 6 hours of on screen time a day with regular use. My record is 8.5 Hours of on screen time on a full charge on 50% brightness. It's killer.
That thread is for the N910a device, which is the ATT Note 4. It is not for people using their T-Mobile Note 4's on ATT. The forum is for the device, not the carrier.
Edit:
Plus, 1) roms don't change the basebands on your phone nor do they affect usage on different carriers. So since the T-Mobile Note 4 can be used on ATT anyway, any rom you use will ultimately work with ATT.
So make a choice based on the feedback you are receiving from people here because whatever rom you choose will work on ATT.
2) I don't move threads, but did report the thread as being in the wrong place.
3) A moderator reviewed the report before making the move and would've kept the thread where it was if they didn't agree that your thread didn't belong. So a mod agreed with me and moved your thread.
