Minor problems after rooting with Towelroot - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Rooted my Note 3 with Towel root, however I noticed a couple of minor problems with some apps. For example, after I use Chrome a couple of times and it works fine, I then try to go to a website and Chrome just hangs with a white screen. I have to go into the list of all apps and close Chrome, open again, and it works fine for a few times then starts the hanging again.
Also noticed that the Amazon Kindle app works hit and miss. Sometimes I run it , open a book and get the "Unfortunately Kindle Stopped Working" error message. Interestingly enough, I downloaded the Kindle for Samsung app from Samsung and it works fine.
Had a couple of issues initially with Titanium backup. It would not find the SD card and save backups to it. But I found the fix elsewhere on this site (had to modify the platform file).
I tried uninstalling and re-installing the apps that are giving problems but they still have the same errors after re-installing. I'll eventually figure out what is going on but just thought I would mention the issues.
Anyone else having similar issues?

[Q] Apps keep auto-quitting

I have a Kindle Fire HD 7", which I purchased in September 2013. Its been working fine until recently. About a month ago I downloaded the 1Mobile Market 3rd party app (likely my first mistake) so I culd play Pokemon ROMs on my Kindle. This caused no problems initially. Recently I noticed it continually causing my downloads from Silk to fail (PDFs mostly) so I uninstalled it. Still no problems. The other day (about a week or two after uninstalling) I was playing a Pokemon ROM and when I quit out it kept opening random apps instead of going to the Home screen. after I kept hitting the home button and getting random apps instead for awhile, I restarted my Kindle, hoping that might help. Now, instead of doing that, it just auto closes any app I try to use and most menu options. If I swipe down, go to "More", then "Applications" (in an attempt to see if any running applications are causing the issue it goes immediately back to home. I've tried restarting it several times to no avail. Now I can't even read any books for more than a few seconds. Any advice or am I just screwed?
Can you post a link to a logcat?
Are you rooted? Custom recovery? If so, I'd recommend wiping cache & Dalvik

Apps keep crashing

I'm running 5.1 stock. I've had the turbo for a while with no problems, but recently random apps keep crashing for no apparent reason. I haven't made any major changes to the phone or installed any new apps but it keeps doing this. Textra will crash to the contact list screen after 3-4 seconds of looking at a contact thread. Yik Yak will close to the home screen with no error message after a few seconds. Facebook will open to the logo and a blue screen as if it's trying to load something but then it just crashes to the homescreen. The camera won't open and will give a message "Unfortunately, Photos has stopped.". Not every app does this either - Reddit Sync works fine, Fenix is ok, Stock Messenger is ok, snapchat will act up on occasion, and everything else is OK. This happened once before and I did a factory reset and everything was working fine for 2 weeks until it just started happening again. I cleared my cache partition with no luck. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this or know a potential fix? I've searched everywhere and I can't find anyone experiencing the same problems and if they are the problems are so vague I'm not finding them. I'm running 5.1 stock.

I got the same problem yesterday, I kept getting the "sorry blank has stopped" box over and over. Now the phone seemed to be dead. A couple times during the day it just went black and wouldn't start without a hard reboot. This morning it is completely dead, I missed my alarm because the phone seems to be bricked. Never had any issues with it, I've had it for like 6-8 months. Guess it's dead?

PICO TTS has stopped

Hey guys, I've been using nokia 7 plus without a problem since it first came out, great phone.
Recently I'm using couple exercise apps but then it shows this "pico tts has stopped" error message whenever the exercise is about to begin.
Anyone has encountered this problem before? The app will still run fine, just the error message is annoying because it pops up when the exercise is about to begin and it blocks the content for a short while.
I tried restarting, reinstalling the exercise apps (actually all the ones I tried will show pico tts error message, so I'm not sure if that's the apps issue or my phones issue).
Really don't want to do a factory reset at this point, any other solution or suggestion? Thanks xda friends.

Strange Netflix Playstore Update

Just got my 9T Pro, everything seems to be fine, all working well and have received a couple of system updates since I received it. There is one strange thing with Netflix. If I go into PlayStore and check for updates it indicates that there is an update for Netflix but it's only 2.9 MB large. If I click on the update it seems to download something but nothing installs and it goes back to indicating there is a Netflix update. If I close out completely from PlayStore and go back in, the first time I check for updates it says there are none. If I refresh, then the 2.9MB update appears again. I've also done a delete and re-install but no effect, problem comes back.
The version of Netflix that is installed is Version 7.40.0 build 20 34657. In addition, it seems to work fine.
It's not a big deal, cause Netflix works but I've never seen this behaviour before.
Any ideas or thoughts?
The problem with NetFlix went away, all was fine for a few weeks and now I get a 77kb download for Instagram that never installs. Just keeps failing. Any ideas as to how to fix this? I've restarted but nothing.
It is a Play Store bug that causes to loop some apps' updates. Try cleaning app cache but it will go away after few weeks.

Google Apps constantly stop working/ Cellphone often crashing

I have been experiencing a problem with my X4 lately. Suddenly, Google Apps such as Youtube, Google Chrome, Youtube Music, Play Store, even GMAIL started to crash. Out of the blue, they just close, sometimes they close and report that "app x stopped working", and often "Google Play Services stopped working" and this pretty much makes the cellphone unusable, the apps won't open anymore, not even a reboot would solve it. Sometimes apps as Facebook, Instagram, the Native Camera, even SETTINGS will crash. Following this crashes, sometimes the cellphone will just shut off the display and crash, only coming back after a forced reboot (BUT, as strange as it may seem, the long press on the power button works just fine and the display wakes but only showing shut off and reboot options).
I was experiencing this problem with the stock Android 9 ROM. I then removed my google account, wiped it, did a factory reset for a couple times, did not work. I flashed the stock ROM, but the problems only got worse. Then i flashed the Pixel Experience w/ Android 10 using the latest TWRP, same problems happened, with a clean installation, wiped everything. I used it for a couple of months, but the crashes were just increasing over time.
I then installed the Lineage OS 18.1 on Android 11 on my X4; Same thing, clean installation, wiped everything, removed all Google Accounts, flashed the latest GAPPS. Boy oh boy, it was smooth like butter on the beginning (i recommend this ROM very much), one week goes by and the same crashes come back again, every once in a while. I just can't figure what could be causing the crashes, same issues with 4 different roms!
If anyone please has experienced this or know how could i fix it, it would help me very much. Thank y'all for your attention.
Next time it happens i will try and take a screenshot to post here.
Did you ever get a solution to this? I am having the same issue.
