Hello!
I've been struggling to find a way to enter on the ServiceMode menu to check the Amr-wb settings. All the codes found to use on the dialer are useless to enter the service mode so I found this way.
You need to be rooted.
Install a terminal emulator, and change the user to SU.
Grant the root permissions.
Then use this command, and the ServiceMode menu should appear.
am broadcast -a android.provider.Telephony.SECRET_CODE -d android_secret_code://27663368378
Hope you enjoy.

Thanks. ..

Yes... That code doesn't works on g900f
Code doesn't work in dialer on G900P (Sprint) either.
Doesn't work on W8 either.

Hi,
I have added the ability to launch secret codes with ROOT permission. Now you can launch this code directly from the app, no need to manually enter the command.
Install Shortcut Master app, open 'Secret Code Explorer' menu, scroll down to 27663368378 and launch it (select 'Launch 0', root is required).

Use a file explorer with root access like root explorer or es file manager and look in /system/app for
HtcLockScreen.apk
Then rename it to
HtcLockScreen.apk.bak
And reboot
If you want to change back just remove the .bak from HtcLockscreen.apk.bak and reboot
A known Issue you have with doing this is that calls and text are not visible until you unlock the screen.

What ROM are you on? Also, did you double check that it was renamed? I did the same and ES File Explorer wouldn't do it. Had to use Root Explorer and mount as Read/Write.
Are you on the stock unmodified kernel? If so that's why htc has system write protection in the kernel any changes made to system get reset upon reboot.

LG G Flex Sprint ROM Stock Features
After rooting, every build property editors as Rom Toolbox from JRummy, ROM Explorer, ROM Manager, ... can be used as extended settings menu.
Sprint's LS995 starts up with the voice activation feature instead of the Android Setup Wizard. In the build.prop Editor JRummy's you can set the file
"ro.setupwizard.mode" to "enable" and start voice activation later.
At "ro.lge.qslide.max_window" the number of windows opened at the same time can be changed byNumber (default==2)
At "ro.com.google.apphider" "off" can be set to "on", then apps may be hidden in the app drawer.
With a build.prop editor you can set "pers.splitwindow.support_all" to boolean "true".

Hi,Guys. Somebody hate truecaller on COS 12.1 . So this thread for you
REQUIRES ROOT!!!
1.Install any file manager which have root access (ex,Root Explorer, X-Plore).
2.Then go to root/system/priv-app. Here has DialerNext folder, rename it to Dialer. Into the folder has apk file DialerNext.apk. Delete it and copy Dialer.apk (which I uploaded below) into Dialer folder
3.Give true permission (I uploaded pictures for true permission)
4.Restart phone
5.Done
SECOND WAY!
REQUIRES CUSTOM RECOVERY (TWRP,CWM)
Thanks to @secretkloud & @johnb380

Speaking for myself (and I guess many many others), TrueCaller is an anti privacy solution, once you accept to join it immediately uploads your entire phone/address book to their servers to be able to share with other users (that's how it work, you girlfriends/wife/boss secret number will be on their servers, and when that number calls someone using truecaller they will see the name you have in your address book).
I just HATE this....
I added both of you name . Thank you

Hey. Thanks to all the posts here and to whoever posted that zip which flashes the Google dialer.
I made a flashable zip which deletes the truecaller apk, CM dialer and in call UI (DialerNext and INCallUINext) and replaces it with the dialer/call UI from the most recent CM 12.1 Nightly. Main advantage is that it has more forward/reverse lookup features and I think maybe also call recording depending on your location (doesn't seem to work in the USA but I managed to record a call in the UK).
I'm sharing it here for whoever is interested but flash at your own risk. Please note, it only worked for me on a clean flash so you will probably need to factory reset to get it to work. If you try a dirty flash you may end up without a dialer.

Let me know how it goes.

I suggest this zip - https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/cos-12-1-annoyances-fixes.350766/.
The above zip actually creates secondary contacts app. Apart from that, it's all same.

Ya I went back to temasek cm12.1 for bacon because there were a few bugs I just couldn't live with so I'm not on COS12.1 anymore. But thanks for the new zip if I go back I'll try it out!
