I had some issues with this, and did some digging. So hopefully this will help others. As you may know, developers mode is locked on the Verizon Galaxy S5. To unlock it and be able to enable/disable USB Debugging, just tap multiple times on the "Build Number" under phone options. As you click it will state how many more times you have to click to unlock developers mode. Once done, it will now show up under settings, and allow you to mess with USB Debugging. Hope that Helps.
Thanks, but this is not just on the verizon s5. It's actually on all android devices with (I think) Android 4.2 or later, by default (unless the rom builder sets developer options as visible by default)
You need to tap the build number 7 times

Has anyone tried using the same loophole from earlier Samsung devices to SIM unlock their Note 3?
It doesn't work for me.
It doesn't work I tried it the first day I got the phone, they changed the menus on the note 3.I dialed the number and the menus are different. They must have seen people using the special menu and patched it on the note 3 with a different menu
#*197328640# works but no access to Phone Control menu.
I'm hoping there's a setting somewhere I didn;t turn on, but... is there really no voLTE on this phone (verizon) ?
I am not 100% sure, but I think VoLTE will be enabled with 5.1 which natively supports the standard out of the box.

With 5.1 rolling out and VoLTE available on the Nexus 6, has anyone looked into enabling the option on the Moto X 2014?
I looked into this information which was not fruitful, and also did a 'grep "volte" /mnt....' on my mounted ROM without anything useful (some VoLTE references in the mixer settings).
But I would be interested to know where the Nexus 6 has the setting to turn on/off the visibility of the Toggle in mobile network settings. Granted, this probably still wouldn't enable it on our X's, since it seems it is a server-side change. (unless editing the buildprop to look like a Nexus 6 tricks Verizon into allowing us). So many variables, but it would at least be nice seeing where the setting is and injecting it into our ROMs.

I believe this is the case. For VoLTE to work, you need these 3 conditions to be met:
1) IMEI must be an IMEI from a phone that is HD Voice whitelisted (this is a network condition that we have no control over);
2) line must have HD Calling enabled as a feature (you can get this by putting any of the HD Voice whitelisted phones on your line (I used an iP6 to get it active on my line)); and
3) phone must be running firmware that enables HD Calling (this potentially could be added to a ROM).
So while you can implement #2 and #3 above, we can't do anything about #1.
I grabbed an unlocked Nexus 6 off Amazon and signed up for Google Fi a month ago. A spot just opened on my friends Sprint Sero account (5 lines for $200 plan that was popular years ago) with unlimited data. I know the phone will work, except I can't be sure if tethering will work?
Could someone comment if they tried the same phone and what needs to be done?
TIA
no one has any insight?
well, tethering generally works, no problem. what you need to find out if itll work in Sprint, via that program, and how much itll cost. im not on sprint, so cant answer you.
this is how I got it to work on sprint while ruining 5.1.1
1. Enable developer mode (Go to Settings -> About phone, and click on the build number until the developer mode is enabled).
2. Enable USB debugging under Settings -> Developer options
3. Connect the device with a USB cable to a computer with the Android SDK platform tools installed
4. Start an adb shell: adb shell
5. In the adb shell, run this command: settings put global tether_dun_required 0
Edit the Build.Prop
6. Then open a root explorer and open build.prop add net.tethering.noprovisioning=true to bottom
sprint sold phones come unlocked, there is no difference between a sprint nexus and an unlocked version ( unless you buy the international version)
still no delete option on xda

I enabled developer options but for the life of me I am unable to find it in the settings. I’ve tried searching and going through each section of the settings but still nothing. I have an unlocked note 8 and I am on Oreo.
