Hi,
You mean android revolution HD 36 ?
Where can I find it ?
I see only 31.6 and 71 on this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183023
I was trying to download that 31.6(Seanie maybe misspelled) and I couldn't download it because there were no mirrors :/
Any Luck?
I am running hboot 1.57 with viperone 6.2.1 and bulletproof-m7-14-2

rumrunner crashes after test 2.... FATAL: download update version etc....
tried firewater and it hangs all the time...
I have disabled my firewall and installed Superuser & Busybox
The cable is good, battery is at 100%...
I am loosing my mind...

If you have exhausted the many combinations for firewater and you are receiving the whelps this sucks message then your another alternative is the paid S-OFF Sunshine.

Is that a guaranteed s-off? I wouldn't want to waste 25$
It isn't wasted. It does compatibility checks before it does anything. Most important thing is to have stock kernel for it to work

It worked :victory:
Now I am getting no signal.
I changed the CID to 11111111 and flashed a Bell Mobility Nandroid Backup since I intend on using it on Bell... the damned thing doesn't get signal...
Try flashing a newer firmware?
[Guide] HTC ONE Hboot 1.57 Root S-Off Change CID Downgrade Hboot & OS
Search the above phrase on google. The first result should be from the site forums(dot)gsmhosting(com) with the title same as search.
I am a new user so I can't post external links.
I used that guide to achieve S-Off on my HTC One M7 UL with Hboot v. 1.57.
I had to run the final firewater commands several times before firewater launched finally. Enough tries to make me memorize those commands so I stopped copying and pasting them and instead actually typing them. But it worked for me.
I hope it helps.

Have you checked settings to see what network mode is checked? Check each one separately to see which one gives the best results. Auto generally works best! Did you have a GSM or CDMA phone?

I had my bootloader unlocked, device was s-off, and super cid, then decided to sell my HTC one so I went back to s-on, restored my Telus Nandroid ( no RUU for Telus), relocked bootloader and then try to update it, it was then stuck so I pushed on power, went a little bit further, then stucked, power off and it completed. Now I decided to keep the device so I tried unlocking it again with HTC DEV, after flashing the unlock_code.bin it says it's successful but nothing happens on the phone. Any idea how to fix that?
Thanks
Anyone? I just can't think of anything else
Have you tried to push the file another one time?
However, now you're with 1.54 hboot or 1.44?

I tried to go s-off a few times but it always failed with error -6. I remember when I went s-off (when I got the device) I had to do like 15 times before it finally works, I guess I'll need to keep on trying. Thanks for the help

Sounds like you're on 1.54, double check!
If you are still on 1.44 use a Rom based on 4.1.2 for biggest chance of success.

Hi, I was wondering if there was going to be an RUU for 4.03.651.2 firmware. I tried to take the update with an outdated version of TWRP, and I would like to go back to stock and reroot. I have tried and failed to gain S-Off with Revone and moonshine. I am unsure of what to do. My phone is not recognized by ADB in recovery, so I cannot use the S-Off workaround to flash an old RUU. Any suggestions/responses are appreciated.
Thanks,

Hmm... I just assumed that there wouldn't be an RUU for 1.31. Do you know of any way to gain S-Off so that I can flash the 1.29 RUU?
RUU
This can be very frustrating, I know.
I used Moonshine to achieve S-OFF, yesterday. Reason was because I managed to delete almost everything, I still don't know exactly what happened. However, if I remember correctly, you need S-On in order to run a stock RUU. There are several threads that pretty much will walk you thru the steps needed to flash the RUU. I was on them yesterday.
Good luck.

You don't need S-Off or S-On to run the RUU, but the bootloader has to be locked (or relocked). Believe that I read that HTC was going to not release RUUs any more because they didn't want others to tear them apart, etc. But don't quote me on that one...
From my understanding, S-Off is required to flash an RUU for a firmware version that does not match the version you are currently on. Could you please refer me to one of these threads? I would appreciate it very much.

I've also heard the same however how can I gain S-Off without mounting the internal storage? Or ADB? I can't get either to work.

I believe that if you have a custom recovery installed, you can use the workaround by accessing the terminal from the recovery, type the command, and then lock the bootloader. I am not completely sure on that, though.
If your on 4.3 there is no RUU and no s-off exploit at this time. This is why it's always recommended to root/s-off before you update.

If you updated your phone to latest sprint 4.3 that's it you cannot instal RUU any more
s-on s-off not gonna help you
you can download naked drivers for htc one http://dl.xda-developers.com/attachd...river_0.72.zip but first delate/uninstal all htc/syn drivers
and jus push any 4.3 rooted rom to your phone and install g-luck
Don't know if this will help you or not, just stumbled across it a couple of minutes ago.

Can someone please finally find a way to S-OFF the HTC ONE?
I've tried revone and moonshine and nothing is working.

hboot 1.54 = firmware 2.xx = ROM based on 4.2
40.3 is already 4.4 and 31.6 is 4.3, it MAY work and maybe it won't.
and "the last part doesn't work" isn't very specific, is it?
Not trying to be an a**, but saying things like "i'm on latest version" doesnt really say much.
Versions usually have numbers for a reason.

Ok, as far as i know not sure if you can s-off while on kitkat..so for the sake of s-offing, flash ARHD 31.6 (ive used this to s-off my device twice on hboot 1.55 and it works) it should work for you too. and for revone and moonshine won't do since you need to use rumrunner for hboots 1.54 and 1.55
Now, im assuming you already have adb set up and know how to use adb and fastboot commands, so go on n check out this thread and then go to www.rumrunner.us and download the universal version 0.5.0 and remember to follow all the directions (most importantly disabling all firewall/antivirus, as this is what plagues most people). and then you should have s-off
thank you, I've tried this again and this time it worked!

Hey guys, so I have this device rooted. The problem is that I am unable to remove system apps to free up space due to not having S-OFF. I have tried to use Moonshine and Firewater so far. Moonshine does not support this device and Firewater failed. I am thinking of trying out Rum Runner. Can anyone suggest a possible way to get S-OFF? Thanks in advance.

try this .http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/revolutionary . i been looking into it hardcore . im at work so i cant do this now.:laugh:
I tried Revolutionary and got
Code:
_rawadb_handle_msg: unknown command 48545541
Granted it's hboot 3.19, which is unsupported in favor of 1.06. Rummrunner, firewater, and moonshine all fail/unsupported and unrevoked is mia right now.

S-Off is still not working for our devices. I've tried different things again and again but there are kernels on the forum (I'm not sure which device you have), that will allow you to remove the write protection (VM/Sprint/Boost, Cricket). Sunshine, moonshine, revolutionary, and rumrunner don't support the device. Firewater is discontinued. Unrevoked doesn't work, kinda figured that. Haven't given AlphaRev a try because I couldn't get USB connection through VirtualBox. Just got that to work the other night so I will give that a go but given that the device has been released less than five months I really don't see it working. AlphaRev doesn't work.

Revolutionary (http://rev.alpharev.nl/) supports only Desire not Desire 510.
Sunshine should work (they confirm it does). at least for the Desire 510 CDMA 32 bit. It just is just not free $25

You cannot see the mainver because you flashed a recovery that wiped that info.

As close to stock as possible, Viper is too modded / customised, and dont get your hopes up, if rumrunner doesnt work, then sunshine is the only way.

nope, the developers charge you a very small price in my opinion due to the amount of phones they brought and destroyed creating sunshine, $25 is nothing to what it cost them to develop it.
