New Radio Included
Same bootloader

I hope the 4.4.4 radio is at least decent. 4.4.3 has caused really odd battery drain and many stuck with the 4.4.2 radio which was significantly better on the battery. Not everyone were affected, but it's the same story as with the camera bug.

nahhh, towel root works due the kernel (being old). 4.4.4 has the same kernel of 4.4.3, so I guess it still works... I guess Android Police stated that it still works and it the security fix is not that one

Dirty update worked fine for me. CF Root + Xposed are working. MXPlayer is not complaining about unsupported android version.

Will fastboot flash system system.img be enough to update? Can't be bothered to start over again tbh after all that work with 4.4.3. Got too much stuff that will interfere with OTA - xposed, Cerberus, bionic libraries to name a few.

Edit your flash-all.bat and remove the -w flag in the update command. It won't wipe your data. Then execute it.

Anyone know yet if this update also fixed the GPS "inability to lock quickly" issue?
Has anyone captured the OTA URL yet?
v Thanks!
don't know about url, but here is ota 4.4.4
So guys no bootloader update in 4.4.4 right? It's the same of 4.4.3?
Well..now I need only of radio 1.03 and a custom rom (compiled by me) 4.4.4 right?
Because I'm too busy for flash factory image..

Just a question I am not an img flasher generally but is all that you guys worry about and go through worth it. I would assume just root and flashing a stock rooted 4.4.4 rom would be easier. I also have not updated my bootloader since 4.4.2 and have not seen any issues. Not flaming or anything just trying to understand why having the latest and going through such measures is worth it....
Happy flashing to you guys and I guess we all have our own lil obsessions...

Do you know what steps I would need to take to get this OTA? I might skip it completely if it's not simple enough. I'm on NAE, rooted currently. I would probably need to reflash through Odin I assume?

I don't want to say you're making it up but I'll just say its highly unlikely Verizon almost never pushes updates out on the weekend. I definitely do hope I'm wrong though
I just hope we can root/recovery still. I'm not taking it until I know for sure. I would be so p*ssed if I couldn't use v4a, not to mention xposed! But here's to hoping!
Interesting considering the latest leak is still 4.4.2. We shall see, it would be nice if they added the knock code finally.

And how did you root it?
by downgrading to 4.4.2 then flashing 5.0.2 via recovery?
or you used another method
Is this works on UNLOCKED Bootloaders ? I tried Nuts last version of dual recovery but it didn't work for me.

It's currently the only method to root stock rom and kernel. And leaving /system read only and untouched seems to be marshmallow's flavor if you will.
I have been on systemless for awhile now so perhaps it has changed but dont you need a modified boot image to avoid the corrupt phone message?

few possiblilities:
1. You haven't received the rollout for the new safetynet api
2. Your payment wasn't checked with safetynet this time.
3. You lucky booger.
I was going to say, they may not have "updated" android pay yet. I wonder if you don't update how that will work. Tbh, the systemless root does seem pretty moot at this point unless you love OTAs.
It is gonna get to the point that people will have to pick either root/custom roms or using things like android pay. Not a big deal personally as all mobile payments are blocked in every store here
