Updating error

I was updating my Sony x8 through usb with d help of Sony pc suit suddenly me system got restarted now my is not booting and showing some caution symbol can anyone help

Try another time with PC Companion, or force the installation of 2.1 using FlashTool (in this case, you'll need a ftf file with the firmware, search in the forums that file )

Unable to install .434 update on my Xperia Z

Guys, has anyone faced following problem-
The Sony pc companion recognizes my phone just fine and even tells me that I have new build to install. I was able to download but it get stuck on step 2 where on screen it asks me to put phone in a download mode by shutting it off, plugging in sub while holding volume down button.
I have followed all these steps properly and even confirmed with tech support but the pc companion just stays there and no install is initiated.
I have been researching in the forums but no luck so far.
Details-
Xperia Z C6602
Current build - 10.1.A.1.350
Update build from pc companion - 10.1.A.1.434.

Download update service from sony website and try.
Try to change the usb port,and reboot your pc.

Try another pc, another cable?
Disable any antivirus.

Disable Anti-Virus
**Disable Firewall**
Restart PC
>> and try with Update Service Tool

I tried the same steps on another laptop I have after disabling the anti virus no luck. I tried with update service tool as well, same result.
Steps done-
1. Launch pc companion/update service
2. Allow above apps to download the .434 as steps on their wizard.
3. App takes me to step two.
4. Disconnect usb cable from phone and pc.
5. Shutodown phone, wait 30+ secs
6. Plug in the usb into laptop
7. Plug in usb into phone and press volume down while doing it.
8. I notice the indicator blinks red and green but then nothing.
Also, I can't get OTA upgrade as the new build doesn't get listed on my phone's update center
This is my brand new Xperia Z.
Are there any other flash tools I can use? If yes, where can I download the ..434 stock ROM

Hold volume up+ power for 15 seconds till you have 3 vibrations,this is like removing the battery and putting it back.
And try again.

Ok I had that mcafee program on, i un-installed it and it worked

The anti virus was causing trouble for me too! For some reason it didn't work before but when I tried same thing on my alienware... it worked !

[Q] pc companion update problem

Guys while updating Android 4.3 14.2.A.1.136 firmware via PC companion on Z1(India), I got stuck at step 2, it says preparing sofware and the bar is nearing its end and it takes 5 mins and then the process window closes and again my pc companion shows a new software upgrade is availble for your phone and if i repeat the process again i get the same issue................even i installed SUS, but while opening SUS it says an error has occurred your apllication will shutdown......any help can be appreciated....thx
I also tried reinstalling my pc compnaion and also SUS but, I face the same issue. Can you guys tell me any solutions?????

Please my xperia z is bricked and i havnt used for over a week now,
i installed pc companion on my pc, it detected an update for my phone, i accepted the update, my phone powered down to install the update, and it got stuck there, refused coming back on, i have tried contacting sony customer service, they gave me some procedures which i have followed to the letter, i have used the pc companion to repair but it tells me there is no update for my phone or sometimes it would tell me update engine could not update your device (error 100), i have also tried using flashtool as well and it gave error, my phone is down and if i power it on it tells me update failed, make sure the phone is connected to a computer and try again,
i have tried all the repair/update procedures known to me several times, disabled my antivirus and firewall, attached is an error i got while using the flashtool...
the phone was rooted with a locked bootloader...
any solution would be highly appreciated..

[ Help ]Xperia Z1 C6902 Stuck On Sony Logo Bootloop , Cannot Flash Ftf With Flashtool

hi guys . i own a xperia z1 c6902 which since this morning has stuck to showing sony logo and restarting . i tried to install twrp recovery from another source and it happen . the computer gives sound while connecting and disconnecting and when i goto adb and hit adb devices command , it is shown . i installed twrp today morning and had this problem . iam currently on 5.0.2 and had downloaded 5.1.1 firmware but after i try to flash it with flashtool , it is showing me a " device selector " window . I have installed all drivers according to instructions and my phone is shown in flashboot mode also in flashboot but flashing cannot start . when i click cancel in device selector window , it says " no loader found " [ screenshot ] there is no exclamation in device manager too so iam sure all correct drivers are installed . i have attached a screenshot . please help me bring my phone to life asap

Try flashtool's different, or, latest version, cannot see which version you re using on SS

I think flashing the twrp corrupted your bootloader. Was it meant for another device?
