I need to sent my 4X HD on warranty and I need to roll-back to stock ROM and stock recovery.
I did a backup od my stock ROM before flashing Beanstalk, so I have this done.
But how do I flash stock recovery? Is there a flashable zip or img which can be flashed via Flashify?

No, basically I wanted to start TOTALLY fresh with a new ROM so I went to CWM and formatted EVERYTHING!! I was half asleep when I did it and formatted my SD card (where my ROM was saved lol) I also formatted boot, so I have no recovery anymore either.
What I'm wanting is a custom recovery I can flash using Odin.
So CWM recovery in a .tar format.
Thanks for the help!

So attached one may help you a lot. It works even for JW9! All you need to do - it's install the latest stock ROM first

But this isn't a recovery is it?
It's just a root package for stock firmware?
All I'm looking for is a custom recovery (like CWM) that I can flash in Odin so I can get a recovery back on my phone and flash CM
This on contains Root+CWM3 for stock ROM
is it possible to flash TWRP over CWM or first back to stock recovery?

Yes it's possible to flash TWRP over CWM you only need a flashable zip for flashing TWRP with CWM.

I am not sure what you really mean but you can reflash stock rom with Odin3. Download the firmware at http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
I would suggest you before starting flashing please go to TWRP recovery and do advanced wipe. Don't wipe internal storage to prevent data loss and then only you start flashing the firmware with Odin3. Of course you have to enter download mode by holding power button + volume down + home button together.
Easiest way is to flash pure Stock ROM in zip file (with or without root) via custom recovery. Make sure that stock recovery isn´t in zip file.

mm were i get the Stock ROM ?
And what you mean " Make sure that stock recovery isn´t in zip file." you mean i must delete the zip file twrp that i have in my phone?
ROM you can get for example here. You need to have flashable zip file with ROM (can be easily made for example with Android Kitchen).

but that will loose the root.. i think
Yes, but if you don't lose custom recovery, you can easily flash root via recovery.
Other option, maybe more comfortable for you:
1. Flash pure stock ROM via Odin.
2. Flash custom recovery via Odin.
3. Flash root bibnary via custom recovery.
You need to download the rom from samobile.com then split it and flash via odin, then you need to install a recovery again and root it again

Have got TWRP installed on H811 20q, but would like to get rid of it so that I can get OTA update to work (for now). I cannot get LGUP or Uppercut to work properly so I want to go back to stock and will then reinstall twrp/root etc and then custom ROMs. What is the best method to get back to stock recovery without LGUP?
Download the stock recovery .IMG or extract it from a stock ROM .zip and flash it in twrp

Haven't seen a stock ROM zip with a recovery file in it, at least so far. Any suggestions on where to find this would be appreciated.

You can flash the ROM or:
-You can restore the boot partition from a backup of the ROM.
-You can take a copy of boot.img from the ROM zip using a file manager and flash it in TWRP.
If you're updating a custom kernel, just flash the update.
Update: the one exception to this is you are using a custom kernel that touches the system partition. You can tell this if the custom kernel zip file contains non-empty folders for system.
In this case, if you want to go back to stock or change custom kernels, then you need to dirty flash the ROM to restore the original boot image and remove the changes made to the system partition.
