did you load a recovery for gt-I8190?
that is probably why it didn't work since your phone is a different model
load stock firmware from your phone and always be sure to read careful what device is supported for anything you install on your phone

I Know.. but if you are able to flash a custom recovery like CWM i think you can wipe data and\or flash a custom rom instead a stock

you dont need root to flash 2.3.6 via ODIN. if only download mode works for u you only have few options. 1 if u have warranty send it back to samsung. 2 install clockworkmod recovery via odin multi downloader or reflash gingerbread 2.3.6 via odin while your phone is in download mode thats it!. easily sorted when u know how if download mode still works.
strange for a new phone to have bootloop.
hi there after coming home tried to flash the phone
but only thing i get is i hear on my pc that it is connected but not to be seen on my pc.
when i put it in download mode odin doesn't recognize the phone what is to be done with this.

i think the problem is yhat it's not in debug mopde but there is no way for me to get it there becaus cant get into the damn thing
please again how to solve before taking it back for warranty because its a long drive for me to get to the shop
Hello everyone,
first of all, thanks for reading this.
So here's a short scetch of the details of my phone:
I have an samsung GT-s5570 galaxy mini I, and a half year ago i succesfully rooted it, now it's running android 2.3
Today I tried to upgrade it to 4.1 with cyanogenmod 10, so i did the recovery, update thing, but i forgot to install clockworkmod. after a 'succesfull' update, rebooting ends up giving me a black screen, normal startup gets stuck at the samsung logo. i tried to update it to the version it ported with, i tried to update it to the root thing, but none of these changed anything. Odin multidownloader doesnt detect it, even system wipe/factory recovery doesnt change anything. I'm not able to figure out how to fix this, please someone help me with fixing this and/or updating it to android 4.1 with cyanogenmod 10? thanks in advance!

Firstly, it was a dumb thing to do to flash a custom rom through stock recovery. Secondly, you can't fix it just by wiping data, you gotta flash stock rom via ODIN. Thirdly, to let your computer's ODIN detect the phone, it's gotta be in download mode. To go into download mode, just press and hold Home+VolumeDown+Power buttons.
There's a guide available in my sig feel free to refer to it.
Hello,
I have installed this "ibtimes . co . uk / articles / 419836 / 20130102 / android421-jellybean-cm101-custom-rom-samsung-galaxy . htm" rom on my (actually my mom's) galaxy ace S5830 and it worked just fine. Before i installed it i made a CWM recovery backup. I wasn't happy with the rom so i wanted to go back to my last one by restoring the backup. first i wiped data and cache and then restored the backup. But now when i tried to reboot the system it got stuck on the Samsung logo and later on it was just a light blue screen. can someone help me please.
Don't worry, you need to flash a stock ROM via Odin. Look at the stickies

Chill your phone can be fixed easily
Simple Bro , Download the firmware files from sammobile.com then Google for Galaxy Ace Odin ..I guess the version is 4.38 or something like that ..and make sure you download the cooper file with it then flash the original firmware using Odin.So then your phone is back to how it was when you bought it.
I hope this was helpful.
If you want the instructions on how to do this ..let me know ..I'll give you the link for the files also
Help!
I'm having the same problem.
I tried to install a new rom on my Samsung Galaxy GT-S5830, but when it was supposed to boot, nothing happend.
I tried to install the original firmware using Odin, but the problem is that I can't connect my phone to my computer.
The only thing my phone is able to do now, is showing the charging screen, opening the samsung recovery mode and accessing the download mode.
I really hope that someone could help me!
Thanks in advance.
PS:
My provider is Vodafone (don't know if it's important)

Dude! Switch off the phone. Then press the 3key combo to go to Download mode. U don't need to go to recovery either (which is a 2key combo). & ops name should be:-

Hi BscorpionII!
As you can open recovery, if you don't have CWM 5.0.2.6 you could install it from your recovery and then try installing another ROM from CWM 5.0.2.6.
You could read this link
"Nielli's [GUIDE] Guides and Tips How to Root SGA, Install CWM5 and install Mods + Downloads"
In the link you'll find the last stable recovery -version 5.0.2.6- and much more.
Good luck.
I accidentaly installed a galaxy young pro rom on my ace when trying to install custom rom, now I can't put it into download mode, any ideas?

No, I think it's because by installing all that I changed the buttons to put the phone into recovery, that phone has a keyboard and it uses it to acces recovery mode.
Odin recognized the phone, but it showed in two different ports and it couldn't connect to device a few hours ago, and so did ADB (I could reboot the phone from there, but I don't really know how to use it)
Now it doesn't show on odin but I think that is a drivers issue.
The only thing that I see on the phone is the bootscreen from the galaxy pro, but its white and glitchy.
First my phone was rooted before this but I tried to install XPOSED but it didint work it had me doing a bootloop so i thought about wiping my phone and didint think my OS would get erased now my phone just stays at the SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 screen I installed TWRP but no luck there people told me to install that but no luck I hope I can get some help :crying:

I also tried doing a recovery on ODIN and it keeps saying FAIL I used the right FIRMWARE but it says fail all the time
To use Xposed, you need a de-odexed rom. As for the Stock firmware, download Smart Switch from Samsung, reboot into download/odin mode, enter in your device S/N (White sticker on the back, you didn't tear it off, right?) and Model Num. and it'll get the correct firmware and flash it for you.
