[Q] soft brick htc one - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear friends,
I have a Verizon HTC one, s-off with firewater, super cid, mid changed to that of international variant, then I flashed ruu.zip specific to HTC one Europe, and now I am I'm bootloop , my one is constantly restarting not able to get past the HTC one screen, please help me, just tell me how to change mid in fastboot, rest I will look after.

can anyone please help me,

You need to boot back into recovery and sideload a correct room for the Verizon variant. You can't just flash a gsm room on that phone.

[Q] M7 on voda boot loop help

Hi guys I spent 6 hours y.day trying to recover my phone and I need help big time!
Okay it's stuck in boot loop mode at the moment and there are no ruu that I can find to match my phone. The only file I could find to match was the OTA file, but its not exercutable like the rru. Any suggestions?? I'm desperate.
All videos on the web on how to return to stock requires RRU files.
Can't you just use a stock unbranded RUU? The new dev edition RUU is up on HTC Dev

Yeah that's an idea if I can't find a way around it, but if possible I would like to get it back to stock
Download the all in one m7 tool ans use that to flash the ota zip file. Other wise just flash an unbrandad RUU for your country

Help please! RUU Stock HTC ONE Sense 5! Error 155!

Hi,
I am really desperate right now for some urgent help, I am trying to flash a stock RUU file for my HTC One Factory Unlocked UK. It's CID is HTC___001 and it's MID is PN0710000. I am trying to put an RUU on my HTC One since I want to receive OTA updates now as I'm giving my phone to a friend to keep and he doesn't have a clue how to update if a update comes out E.G Kitkat 4.4 when it does, hence why I want to get OTA updates. However, I'm struggling to put a stock Sense 5 RUU on my HTC One. I am really in need of desperate help and as far as I know, my phone is SuperCID? I believe it is. My phone is S-On. Could that be the reason it's not working? I now have no rom on it, nothing. It just boots up into bootloader as the RUU failed. Please, somebody who knows how I can get the stock rom/RUU on my phone and receive OTA updates can help me, I will be really appreciated.
PLEASE REPLY ASAP, I NEED HELP, PLEASE!
What hboot you on?

Which is your version main?
Use the command:
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main
and post here the code.
search for guru reset htc one at google download your version. it has aroma installer and then you can choose what to do. you can make it stock without loosing system configuration apps etc.

[Please HELP] HTC One M7 U - Can't enter Bootloader !

My phone is HTC One M7 U PN0711000
S-OFF'd
SuperCID'd
BL Unlocked
In order to get the OTA for m7 u 5.12.707.104, I return to Stock ROM by flashing
Custom 3.63.707.4 RUU Zip http://www.htc1guru.com/2013/11/custom-3-63-707-4-ruu-zip/
But after rebooting, the build number only says 3.63.707.3.
At that time, some sort of impatience thing happened, and I just decided to go for a custom rom.
But the problem there was, after flashing 3.63.707.4 RUU zip,
I flashed 5.11.401.10 firmware.zip then I reboot the phone.
Then the phone never booted up and can't even enter into Bootloader. (Vol up + Power not work)
When it is connected to PC. it is just detected as
Qualcomm MMC Storage USB Device.
What should I do ???
Pls help me
The problem is you have an asia device hence 5.12.707.104 and 3.63.707.4 the fact it said a 3 on the end is a common problem with the reset file for you device and if you had of googled it you would of found the answer at XDA and been able to fix it, ive helped a couple of guys on here fix this same problem, however you have now gone and flashed a completely different counties firmware to your phone: 5.11.401.10, don't know if it can be fixed.
Urgh this is why people shouldn't s off if they don't know what they are doing. Mmmm doesn't sound good

It seems like you bricked your device.
The bootloader is corrupted, so it doesnt know what to boot.
You have to send it in, im sorry.
In future, read before you flash..

My sentiments exactly. :good:
If you don't know what your doing then you don't need S-OFF, if you get another one or get it fixed I suggest for your own safety you leave it S-ON, it will block you from doing things like flashing the wrong firmware, AGAIN..........
