Help restore my phone back to normal - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

I started with trying to get private mode to work because after I rooted, I noticed that private mode would fail every time I tried to activate it. Did a quick search which led me to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2719361&page=3 specifically post #26. I then clicked the link in that post and followed the tutorial exactly. After I rebooted, my phone started popping up "unfortunately, youtube has stopped" as well as a slew of other apps that have stopped. I have the original platform.xml file on the phone but when I opened up a file browser, no files were shown, even when I plug it into the computer I can't view any files. I tried to recover using odin but it doesn't seem to have helped at all as the messages are still popping up. Now I can't get past the setup screens to get to the homepage of android because everything keeps stopping and failing. If there is any way to overwrite the platform.xml with the original whether through the computer or another method please let me know. My phone is basically useless right now.

Try to find an Odin restore guide. I'm sure the "All in one s5 answers" thread covers this.

[Q] Error during firmware update, please help.

I was updating my firmware for the Galaxy S and it said something along the lines of not being able to be completed because I don't have 'rapi.dll', so naturally I downloaded that file and shoved it in the System32 folder. After doing so, it said in order for the changes to take effect I'd need to reboot. At first I was a bit iffy because Kies stated specifically not to disconnect etc during the process, but seeing as I had no choice I did so. After I rebooted, I tried to open Kies and it just kept coming up with "Mainstage has stopped working" and crashing. Right now, I've uninstalled Kies, downloaded the newest version from the site and installed it. It's opening fine, however it can't detect my phone and my phone is stuck on this screen: (because I'm a new user and can't post outside links, I'll just describe it)
(Little alien man in triangle sign digging... lol)
"Downloading... Do not turn off Target!!!"
Any help would be hugelyyyyyy appreciated, thank-you!

[Q] Problems after unrooting using 1click Lag Fix

Hi, have been a regular visitor but now I have need to post
I wanted to unroot the phone so I could update on Kies, after the unroot was applied the phone would not boot past the S logo.
So booted into recovery mode and did a factory reset which worked but now I can't log into my google account "Can't establish a reliable data connection to server" is all I seem to get, anyway around this ?
I also cannot get connected to Kies due to MTB USB device drivers not installing and the phone will not show up in my computer.
I have tried all the fixes I have found using Google but none seem to work for either problem, I wish I left her as she was, running really well and looking nice

Odin! Download the JDF and odin it in. It will put you back to completely stock.

Looks the only way.
Hopefully this guy who posted "refalsh to stock" will get an answer as Im on the same network, after the replies he got there is no way I am going to ask

[Q] Failing to flash on the actual phone, not odin.

Hey guys, first post. And well, as the video said, I'm a noob!
So I've tried two different guides, but am currently trying to implement this one in different ways.
Now, I do all the steps in order to get the phone connected, which it finds and is successful. I was trying to install the firmware as a single package. Which on the program(odin) side. All goes well.
Now the issue is, which I can't find on the forums or with google. Once the phone boots itself up during the process and the firmware is sent to it. On the screen for a moment I see some debug looking text scroll. It shows 2 folders system/ something. But I can't quite make out the rest as it does this very quick. Regardless, I think it has something to do with access is not allowed? So it quickly skips that and the phone boots up normally. So nothing is installed, and the normal firmware with all the bloatware is just loaded back up.
Odin then just waits a few more minutes and passes it. But obviously nothing happens.
I tried rooting the phone, which was successful. But it didn't help me in attempting the above method again.
I've attempted with odin as well doing what the above guide states as well here "If archive contains only <filename>.tar.md5 select it as PDA and OPS as OPS, leave other fields EMPTY". But in doing so, adding the file to the PDA section, odin reports it's an invalid image type. Then seems all good, but I'm worried in doing it this way, in case I end up bricking the phone.
I been trying to install the firmware "S5830XWKT7_S5830OPPKS6_S5830XWKT3_HOME.tar.md5" Which is the 2.3.6 Australian one.
Any help would be appreciated as to why it's failing on the phone end of things. As the program does seem to issue to use, as it does successfully transfer everything in the first place.
Thanks guys,
Myth.

Android Phone No Drivers Found

I have a rooted HTC One, though the root checker says it is not currently rooted.
I am trying to get my phone back to factory settings.
When I tried to attach the phone to the computer I get error messages that say that there are not any drivers. There is another message that says that there is not Hardware ID detected.
I cant seem to find any fix when I google this. I hope I can get some direction here to fix this.
I am not a developer, just an guy who likes to play with my toys.
I have tried the basics, removing the HTC software and re installing.
I tried turning the usb debugging off and back on several times.
Thanks

We have no way of knowing what you have done to the phone already to make it invisible to windows ... can you describe what you have already done to the phone with links to the files you used.
no hardware id
I used the instructions from the following web site of QBKING77 (I could not put the link in here because I am too new, just google "QBKING77 root htc one"
Per his instructions I used the file attached and I also loaded TWRP 2.6
I have attached the file I used.

SM-N9208 Duos China Phone (Cloned) Need help!

Hello! I am currently new here and a newbie when comes to this stuff. Anyway, to get to my point, my cousin gave me an SM-N9208 Duos but it was a China phone and he said that it was a cloned phone. I still accepted it though but when I was attempting to use it, I noticed that it had a lot of issues and pop-up messages which annoyed me. When I asked him what he had done to the phone before handing it to me, he said that the phone had a lot of viruses and malwares. I attempt to hard reset it through recovery mode and through the phone system itself but it was no use, it still goes through the same window "Unfortunately, CPS has stopped" on both hard reset attempts. It also keep installing apps that has korean or chinese women on the icons. It keeps spamming any app installations when I connect it with my WIFI connection.
Also, any other issues was that when I attempt to flash the stock rom of it using ODIN3_v3.10.7, it doesn't recognize the device, I also attempt it to connect the device as USB storage and I can still read the device using adb devices from CMD and but still no go with ODIN3. I even attempted having the device go through recovery mode but still no go too. I attempt to install Malwarebytes app but it doesn't ready any viruses or malware on the device.
Just to let you guys know also that when I attempt to do the download mode, it just shows 3 options, recovery, fast boot and normal boot.
This is kind of sucks to my end and I really need help with it. I will really appreciate it if anyone can help me on this.
