Ok no problem! all newbies post in wrong place
By the way:
Download latest flashtool from here and install it then after install finish go to the place where you install flashtool and find folder called DRIVERS open it and you will find an exe file open it and select xperia z- flashmode drivers - fastboot drivers then install
Get the FTF file for flashtool like THAT
After the ftf download finish put the ftf file in "frimware" folder in the place you installed flashtool
Open flashtool then click the lighning icon
Select your downloaded FTF
After few minutes you will see screen appear says WAITING FOR FLASH MODE
Turn off you phone
Hold the volume down button then connect your phone with your pc with usb cable
After few minutes you will see your phone repaired
Bro... All the "device not booting" problems are easy! Flashtool is your friend:angel:

The advice to fix your problem by mad marty is correct. The error is because that rom only works with xperia T unless you flash a TX patch. It is all explained in the thread, reading is a great thing.

You use pccompanion or flashtool. You do not even have to turn the phone on for those to work.
Download pccompanion from sony website and follow the instructions to repair your phone.

That's ok, just run the software update and choose the repair option when the update fails.
If that still does not work, then download flashtool from the very first post in the dev thread.
Install it.
run the drivers.exe file found in the installation path
choose flashmode, fastboot and TX drivers
then either
a) try pccomapanion again or
b) Flash a stock FTF file for the TX in flashtool

[Q] Xperia Z1 bricked : qhsusb_bulk ?

Hi Guys,
I require your help.
I think i have bricked my Xperia Z1 while trying to flash a ftf.
firstly when i tried to switch on my phone it showed "Update failed please connect to system and update again"
now the phone is totally bricked (no response) and when i try to connect it in flashmode windows detect it as qhsusb_bulk device.
Can anyone please suggest or help !
can you please enumerate your steps of doing this?if it's ok...think positive dont panic!
You are not the first and I think you are not the last. Phone Bricked mean dead, your is not. If you PC can recognize the phone that mean something is working.
So, did you use flashtool v0.9.11 or v0.9.13?
From my previous experience, the best way to rescue Xperia is Sony Update Service.
So, please try SUS.

Since your device is detected by flashtool , please use SUS.
Flashtool has little chance to force flash since it gives errors and stop half way.
But SUS does because it dont need to verifer your phone but you have to choose it from a list, it might not success at the first time but will go through the whole process(i tried to resure xperia TX with 5 flashs and it eventually boot)
So keep flash with SUS until your phone boot.
PC companion need to recognise your phone model so it is a bit tricky.

Like you can see in the post the phone is recognised so I don't see the problem.
I will also recommended to try different FTF, it seem like will be some error there.
And at last I will repeated the follow steps:
Keep pressed volume down all the time and connect the phone via usb to PC, do not open flashtool (do not use drivers from sony site, if you installed them uninstall them, windows will do that) wait 1 minute and let windows install the drivers automatically first, then open flashtool, select firmware and flash it, keep pushing volume down all the time. When on the green bar below show up the % of the process you can leave your phone alone. Done.

I have the same problem like yours no vibration no led blinking or something i even removed the battery tryed to charge it over 24 hours nothing to get it back to life so we have a hardbricked phone now thanks to 4.3 update and for now the only solution is to change the mainboard or first to chek it with a fully charged battery (new one)

you need to have a look how to flash the device if it is in hs-usb mode (qualcomm is the manufacturer of our snapdragon 800 CPU and the hs-usb mode is meant for vendors to flash bootloader a.s.o.)
i never tried such a thing and maybe it simply can't be done without the special unofficial tools that the vendors have.
so this really looks like a brick ...
hope the best for you guys ...

Bored to mention it: Wrong Windwos ADB Drivers. If the device is recognized how can it be bricked. Just wrong set/recognized.
But if you all prefer to send your devices in, open the cases (OMG) or other useless stuff... Entering in Flash/Fastbootmode has nothing to do with the battery. On older Xperia devices you could even flash without/removed battery... The S1 Fastboot unlock worked without battery. How do you think does Sony interact with the ROM's or EEPROMS? A special hidden connector? A special Software? Whispering?
I have the same problem and posted here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2623486
I tried with a second sony xperia z1 that already had 4.3 OTA update and then tried flashing it again using flashtool and it worked so this eliminates the program and usb cable.....the one I have now which is giving me issues is one which had 4.2.2 and im trying to flash to 4.3

[Q] Error while using flashtool

I have the latest build and i'm trying to downgrade it but i have an error while flashing it. Here's the error.
ERROR - Processing of loader.sin finished with errors.
Can't seem to find the problem. I've redownload and tried other roms but its still the same.
My process is i will open the flash tool and flash the tft file then wait for a message to pop up then i will press volume down and insert the USB.
But i've seened in the tutorial that i have to first press volume down and insert the USB before flashing. But when i used that method my phone will open by itself.

C6603.. Hey, i'm trying to fastboot my device so i can unlock my bootloader. But when the driver is installing on my computer. It fails. And when i look into the Device Manager of my computer. The Sony ADB Interface has a yellow exclamation. I think that's the reason why i can't flash or fastboot

To install fastboot drivers install flashtool
http://www.flashtool.net/download.php
after installation navigate to flashtool folder in c drive, open driver folder
run the flashtool drivers setup, select flash mode and fast boot drivers and finish installation
put your phone in fastboot mode it will install the drivers automatically
Check USB Debugging is ON ? otherwise it wont work
USB debugging does not have to be activated to flash an FTF. Flashtool uses the same protocol as the official Sony Update Service and that doesn't require USB debugging to be activated.
How do you think you can flash on phones that don't even have anything on /system?

I tried flashing 4.4.2 on my 4.3 device and it was giving me the same error .. .When i Switched on USB Debugging , it fixed my problem ...
Coincidence. I've flashed roms on phones that haven't even had the developer options activated. USB debugging is only if you need to use ADB.
If it fixes the problem, then great, but there's no reason why it should and it would confuse me greatly if it did.

These errors usually caused by no drivers. Install drivers first just to make sure. Go to Flashtool's Intall Dir\drivers and run the installer. Choose flashmode and fastboot. Scroll down a bit and choose Common drivers for Viskan board. Finish the installation.
You also need to flash when your phone is in its power down state. Did you do that? You can press the yellow button under the back cover using a pen, long enough, and release when 3 vibrations are completed.
hi mate and thanks for your respond.
I flash the latest ftf file and my phone opened normally.
I let it recharge for 2 hours and when i tried to open it again it showed me blue screen lol .
THe funny thing is that when i finished the flashing, the phoned opened normally lmao ... how can that happen now :/
Ill try what you said to me right now, i hope it works
Ok, i tried what you said but i guess my phone has no battery.
I recharge it now but i dont know if its recharging or not :/
I cant see the icon or the red bar that indicates that the phone is recharging.
How do i know if its recharging or no?

It was caused by a line in build.prop.
and how do i fix that ? :/

Sorry I am as well not a professional. Also, I am not using a stock ROM to identify the proper line in build.prop.
But my best bet here is that you flashed a C5302 ROM that may have somehow changed the model of your XSP. I recommend flashing a proper C5303 ftf. If you aware, you can find the stock FTFs here

[Q] Hard bricked?

Hi,
I had unlocked my bootloader a few months ago to root the phone. I had taken a backup of the TA partition.
Today I locked my bootloader, and restored the backup of the TA partition I had made.
It doesn't turn on anymore. When I plug it in to charge, the led keeps flashing red.
When I plug it into my computer, its detected in flashmode. Sony PC Companian recognizances the phone.
I have tried flashing the stock Sony ROM using the Flashtool, but i always get an error.

what about DRM keys. are those restored properly?
I think so, it said the flash was successful. How can I check?

dial *#*#7378423#*#* on phone. service menu will open. go to service tests and scroll down to security.
there you will see 9 keys with key OK active written in bracket. if all keys are ok n active then relocking was successful otherwise not.
Also these keys are unique to each phone so you cant get those anywhere.

Make sure the drivers are installed correctly and working.
Check the device manager so that you dont have the yellow exclamation mark on it.
If all is ok there, maybe the phone dont start into flashmode correctly.
Have tried to hold volume down while connecting the usb?

Check if the bootloader is actually locked; press the bootloader button in Flashtool, it'll say unlock if it's currently locked (as you know). Either way, try flashing just the kernel: a .img through fastboot if bootloader is still unlocked, or a kernel FTF from the forum if it's locked. Make sure the cable has no loose contact - unlikely that this is the culprit, but it doesn't hurt to be sure. From what I understand, messing up the TA partition would render your phone completely unbootable, fastboot/flashmode included, so it doesn't look like that's the case. However, this is the first time I'm seeing a device "not recognize" a command so...
To summarize: probably not hard-bricked, but no idea if it's fixable. Be prepared to visit the service center. This is all I could think of. Good luck.

So I took my phone to the Sony Service Center. They say that they'll fix it within 10 days, and the estimated cost is RS. 0; but they'll give me exact details tomorrow.
So how did it go, did they fix your phone free of charge?

Ok. I think it is advised on Flashtool page on xda that for all Z series phone, we should use version 9.13 because of some bootbundle files in the firmware. u can give it a try or buy new z2 or z3

It gives the same errors.
Hello, can you fix your problem? Well, I have the same problem with my xperia ZR but I could flash my device by removing the battery then keeping pressing the "volume down" (until the end of the process) and connecting the USB, try and tell me how it went.
