[Q] Missing Weather Clock Widget - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I am kinda new to the forum and have a question. I have searched the internet and this forum as well but still have not found an answer, so I am hoping someone can explain to me what I have done wrong or what I can do to correct the wrong.
I am currently on version 4.4.2 and Sense 6. My Blinkfeed was never enabled and I always had the Weather clock widget up on the home screen. Today I decided to remove it to try another one from the widget section, but I am now unable to choose any of them, I can still add other widgets, just none of the clocks, or weather clock ones. All that happens is I would choose one the widgets, they ask me to select a city, and then nothing happens the home screen comes up blank.
Has anyone else ever experienced this or know how to fix this issue.
Thanks in advance.

You need to set Blinkered as the Home Screen.

Hi,
Thanks for replying, when I got the phone blink feed was never on, I have turned on blink feed and yes I do see the weather clock widget on there, but I am still unable to add it back to other screens, and I would prefer not to have blinkfeed on.

I contacted HTC support today, and was told with Sense 6 if you delete the clock widget you wont be able to re add. I think that is #%$&^# but anyhow I did a factory reset and everything is back to normal again now.

[Q] Lost my HTC weather widget

I dragged the weather widget of my home page and when I went to put it back its gone. There are 2 small HTC weather widgets and a big one. The one I can't find is the one that is on the phone out of the box and takes up half the screen.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Sence 3 - Agenda widget on lock screen.

Hello Mr Developer people.
I recently flashed the sense 3 stuff to my phone as I heard you could put widgets on your home screen. I was tired of using the fake lock screens that where laggy and didnt work correctly.
I was kind of hoping that the HTC sense would have there agenda widget as a selectable option but you cant.
Would it be possible for someone to make something like this?
Cheers
Pat

[Q] HTC Sense 5

Hi All,
I have tried the demo set of HTC One. I found that they remove quite a lot of widgets like the mail widget and message(SMS) widget.
On Personalize menu, they also remove Skins and Scenes, as well as some of the Lock Screen choices (like Weather and Clock).
My question is, can we have those back for Sense 5? Or it requires some rooting?
Thanks.

My guess is they may be available for download via some sort of HTC app store (they had similar with the One X)
Don't think so.
At least i was not able to find something like that. (no HTC Hub, HTC Likes or whatever)
Also there are no buttons e.g. to download further ringtones or another background pictures/designs like it was earlier.
I think we could downgrade to sense 4 then. We could rip DNA/Butterfly's ROM and port the framework & apks on HTC One.

Weather widget with Null?

Has anyone been successful at adding weather widgets to the Nova home screen? Is it possible for updates without tethering?
I searched the topic several places, but have been unable to find a clear answer.
Thanks

I installed Android weather & clock and sense analog clock widget and both work fine. Have to manually configure town and disable all GPS and things.
Mast3rbug
I went through quite a few to find a widget that displayed ok on the small screen. Eye in Sky was decent but I'm currently using Beautiful Widgets.
To my knowledge you must be tethered for third part widgets, otherwise you have to use the stock Weather widget.

BlinkFeed weather widget icon disappeared??

Ok I've got BlinkFeed as home screen, and all of a sudden the weather widget icon disappeared... The clock is there, but no weather.... I've tried clearing cache and data, I completely disabled closed, IT EVEN BOTHERED ME SO MUCH I RESTORED A NANDROID AND IT'S STILL DOING IT! Anybody else ever have this problem??
Forgot to add, I'm stock Rom rooted Verizon 4.4.3, s-off bootloader unlocked.. This is really driving me nuts for some reason
Nobody?? This is so frustrating... I completely nandroided back 2 stock, it was working set everything back up, was still working, n just now it went out again... No sense related Xposed mods running, NOTHING that should cause this...

to have clock and weather displayed on the blinkfeed screen you must have set blinkfeed as default page like you did. If the weather icon disappear, I think its because weather data are not available for some reason.
Is the weather icon working good if the widget is on another screen?

Yeah It always works good on the actual widgets, it's weird, it was there when I woke up this morning... It seems to only do it at night when it's the moon animation n the weather says clear... I always have BlinkFeed set as home screen, n when the icon disappeared, I can make it reappear If I switch the home screen to a regular launcher page n then set it back to BlinkFeed, but occasionally it just disappears again.. it's weird but oh well I'll just learn to deal with it. I'm just really OCD about my phone n get irritated as [email protected]*% when things screw up

I know this is an old thread, but did you ever figure anything out on this? I just had this happen and can't figure out why. The weather icon on my lockscreen disappeared (time is still there). The widget on my homescreen is fine and shows both time and weather icon. Not a huge deal, but I'm OCD too, so it's going to bug me....

As a matter of fact I did. It only happens when the weather icon is the half moon, if u look at it's animation, it SPINS AROUND, and at some point it spins to where u can't c it, but can fix or reset by going to edit home screen pages, and then set a different page (NOT BLINKFEED ARTICLE PAGES) AS home screen, n then change home screen back to BLINKFEED, and the animation will restart
