Camera broken?

Hey guys so I have an issue just today my.camera forgot to start using any app that has camera access I've rebooted and cleared dalvik cache and the apps cache to no avail. It makes a weird click sound when I exit the app sometimes. Is it possible that its a hardware issue? Im running cog 5.2 2.3.3 stock.

Sorry I don't remember where I originally posted.
I flashed stocked and it started working. I now flashed Continuum 6.1 and the camera stopped working >_>

Update: its working again I didn't do anything to fix it? Strange

Error with google sync

Hey guys...I tried searching the forums for help but didn't find anything. Running ics leak .232 and google sync stopped working for me. Tried searching for toggles in the settings and factory reset, but I'm missing the backup and restore menu. Is this happening for anyone else?

Vivid re-downloading ics over and over again?

I love my vivid but every once in awhile it'll freeze or get sluggish and you need to reset it. So I do, but everytime I reset it, it goes to a screen saying android is updating like its downloading ics all over again? What's happening?

Lol its not downloading or reinstalling ICS all over again...
What happens is when you reboot it clears cache (too much cache can cause problems...like slow down apps) because the coach gets cleared it has to re optimize the applications
So all that's happening is the apps are getting re optimized...
If you don't want this to happen then you have to get a deodexed ROM, because this is just a feature of stock ICS roms...and stock ROMs are always odexed...but any custom ROM will be deodexed for the most part...there's a rooted deodexed stock ROM if you want to keel it stock

Oh okay. Didn't know all ics devices did that. I bought my vivid off amazon from some random dealer so I didn't know if they had screwed it up or something. Thanks

since christmas day my son has lost all his downloaded games and apps twice, any suggestions?

He probably installed an app that changes some file on /system (like AdAway). Stock will reset itself and you will lose everything if you do that.

Thankyou for replying. I echanged the device for a new one but my daughters has done the same thing tonight. Will see if it happens again. Any advice on prevention or protecting the apps?

Don't let them install any apps that you have not checked out. And track all the ones they do install.

Are guys stock or did you install custom recovery? Because if so maybe they accidentally wiped data/factory reset in CWM?

Hello everyone of xda. I have run into the most frustrating issue in my life. I have done almost everything i can do fix this. So.. super su decides that it doesnt want to work anymore. I am on 4.4.2 and had not one issue until today. I cant remember but i think it updated a few days ago. Here is the error message -

Can you give more info? Like what you've tried to fix? Clear app cache + dalvick cache if you have that app from these forums, (app that wipes data cache and dalvick), Also i think titanium has an option to clean up dalvick as well in settings. Does it still let you access root?? Do you have busy box installed?
