Hello,
I do not own a credit card, so I used my father's account for purchases in the Play Store. As his account is not my main account, I cannot make any in-app purchases. This has been a problem for me for a while, but finally Google added PayPal support!
The update didn't come directly, for me and after a while I got impatient. I tried updating Google Play manually, but there still wasn't a sign of PayPal to be seen. I then removed the update again and just waited until I got the official update. After quite a long while, I finally got the update. There was still no sign of PayPal, though.
Would there be a way to fix this?

Thank you for your reply.
I didn't know I had to do this as many friends and family already had this option available, even though most of them didn't even have PayPal at all.
While trying to do this, I get a popup saying "redirecting to PayPal". After 10 minutes its message didn't change though.
EDIT: Nvm, I just tried it a few more times and it is working now, thank you very much.

Hello,
yesterday night I was buying an app on the market (carrom3d Pro), I got the confirmation mail about the transaction but on my Nexus the download stayed stuck at "authorizing...". Since then, if I cancel the download and ask for refund I get a server error, and trying to buy any other paid app would result in the same server error issue.
I can however install free apps, no issue with these.
Is this just me or again a large scale issue ?
BTW, I'm located in Belgium. Access to paid apps using Market Enabler. Whatever the network provider I would fake with Market Enabler (T-Mobile US, O2 Germany, ...) the results are the same.
I also cleaned the market cache (just in case) but didn't help.
Sometimes it takes ten or twelve hours, maybe longer. I contacted a developer directly one and they sent the apk to me.
Had this happen just last week.
I contacted the company thru Google Checkout and asked to cancel the order. I hope this way the application will be removed from my list and I can buy others. For now, with this download staying on "authorising" I just can buy anything else.
Never had any issue with the Market since more than a year.
As everyone knows Google Play outside the US is very restricted, I've been looking for ways to bypass the security and use the full Google Play in my Nexus 7. I've only found several links that let me use Google Music but after trying lots of ways I finally discovered a way to do it on the Nexus 7 without any problem (A CC is needed but it wont be charged).
Steps:
1. First of all you need to set up a Credit Card in Google Wallet, google.com/wallet/ as it's needed for authentication.
You can use any CC just use the real billing information.
2. After this you shall see your card info at the Payment methods section, click edit and change the country to US and the address to any real US address (Just Google any real address with a zip code). NOTE: Google Wallet doesn't check your billing info so there is no problem with this.
3. Now you have to set up any Google Play service, I started with Google Music as it is the easiest. Go to music.google.com and the page should load normally, just accept everything and it will let you download music manager. Now you have just set up Google Music, try it by adding a song to your folder and let it sync with your Nexus 7.
4. Now after doing this Google validates that you have a real US account so the next thing to do is get all the other Google Play services. In your Nexus 7 tablet add the My Library widget to any screen, then it will ask you to select any service (Music, Books, Magazines and Movies & TV), try adding Books, then touch the widget and it will take you to the app, click enable and there you go, you just activated Play Books Service.
5. Activate all Google Play services and enjoy!!!
NOTE: You can actually shop with google wallet like that, I've tried buying a $1.99 TV episode just to check, it worked and the episode was added to My Library without checking my CC information. After this I went to the Google Wallet site again and in Payment Methods in my card I clicked edit and now you can swap easily between the 2 addresses, I just returned it to normal and every Google Play service keeps working.
Hope this works for you too!!!
Didnt work for me. I removed both by cards, changed my address to a US one, changed my phone number in the settings, changed my language and added one of my cards with the US credentials. Still "The Google Play music player is currently available in select territories." ... BTW does it really be a CREDIT card? As I have a VISA debit card (check card) ...
PS: I used a Canonical Massachusetts address and phone ... If you have a working one, please share!
Worked for me first go in Ireland.
Nice guide man.
Watching an episode of through the wormhole with Morgan Freeman now!

+1 to that
Just so you know, this method in no way circumvents payments. You still get charged,
It only circumvents the addressing method allowing for usage in restricted countries.
However, be advised. The issuing banks fraud department may freeze your accounts due to address changing when they receive the transaction statements, and notice rapid address changes. This usually results in about 2 weeks to straighten out, in which case your card will be frozen.
Just sayin......

What if I use US sim card? I have one from the time when even buying apps was not supported in my country ... anyone tried that? If no, I guess Ill check it out when Im back from the dentist ...

Which you have to pay for, whereas this method is free and quite simple.
Anyway I've tried to do it via a VPN before and it won't let you download music, books or movies, it checks the credit card details and then throws and error if it isn't US based, doing it as the OP has shown works perfectly.

How the hell do you enter valid US phone number?
I get either 'invalid area code' or 'number is too long'
I got my address here:
http://www.fakeusaaddress.com/
I already got my account working another way but can't buy music using this method. It rejects my payment at Google Wallet stage, maybe because the billing address doesn't match my Aussie credit card? I suspect for actual purchases they do match off the billing address.
Ok, tried again today but no change. I have a working credit card information in google wallet. I click the "change" option under the card (I dont know how its in english, I have my nexus in czech language), make a US address taken from www.fakeusaaddress.com, everything goes fine. Then I go to music.google.com and ... "The Google Play music player is currently available in select territories." ... dang ...
EDIT: Finally, I figured it out. I used the mentioned site fakeusaaddress.com to get a working US address. Then I changed my billing info (not my own info, only the info with the CC). Then I installed a Chrome plugin called Stealthy (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stealthy/ieaebnkibonmpbhdaanjkmedikadnoje/related) to fake my position (set United States). Then go to google play and you can buy.
To see the content in your device you need to have Google Music App (installed in device usually), Google Play Videos (installable via Google Play) and Google Play Magazines (installable manually http://www.mediafire.com/?iy923q1amq36q7x).
I tried buying a magazine and a song and worked fine. Although I would prefer using secondary credit card (in case google or my bank get pissed because of me faking billing info lol).
BTW I had to wipe app (Google Music) data to make it refresh online content.
ENJOY!

Do you know if the IP location is a second verification check? Meaning if your account details (billing, cc etc) all check out, does it then look to make sure your IP is based in the US, or are you good to use your account to stream/buy music anywhere in the world?
There is a site mygiftcardsupply.com that is selling Google Play gift cards purchased in the US, which Google has setup to allow people to create accounts without credit cards; I am wondering if this would be sufficient enough to get a US account and stream/buy music while I am in Asia.
Thanks!
Not working for a Canadian here. Gets rejected due to address wrong on my CC. I did all of this through my works US internet connection and as soon as I log into any play store, either device or web, it shows me Canadian content. I log out and I see the US store. I used a relatives address in the US as well with same last name and all. No go. The only thing I care about is US only app restrictions and androiddrawer.com fills that void.

It looks like now all you need to do is install OneDrive from the Google Play onto your S6 or S6E and log into (or create) an account to get the free 100 GB for 2 years offer on VZW or AT&T!
Using a TMo or Sprint store model is no longer required!
Thanks to all of the users that have reported back on their experiences!
Just curious if anyone has been able to take advantage of the 115 GB OneDrive for 2 years offer that Samsung promoted with this phone? [URL="http://www.sammobile.com/2015/04/14/us-carriers-are-removing-certain-features-and-preloaded-apps-from-the-galaxy-s6/" said:
Sammobile[/URL] confirmed the pre-installed OneDrive was removed by VZW and I was wondering if anyone re-installed it and got the additional storage.
UPDATE:
WORK AROUND TO GET THE FREE STORAGE ON AT&T OR VERIZON:
Verizon and AT&T removed OneDrive from the GS6 & GS6E before shipping and as a consequence prevents their users from taking advantage of the free 100 GB of storage offered by Samsung.
This work-around was confirmed working at androidcentral.com:
Go to a retailer that sells TMobile or Sprint phones like Best Buy, Sprint Shop, etc. (just not an AT&T or Verizon only outlet).
Use a TMobile or Sprint display model to log into your OneDrive Account. It should right away prompt you to claim your 100 GB of free storage. Select okay and you'll immediately see your OneDrive account show 115 GB of storage.
[*]Sign out of the demo device by going to Profile > Settings > Sign Out.
DO NOT FORGET TO SIGN OUT AFTER YOU LOG IN!!!
FAILURE TO DO SO COULD ALLOW OTHERS TO ACCESS YOUR ONEDRIVE ACCOUNT FROM THE SAME STORE DEVICE!!!
NOTE: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU LEAVING YOUR ONEDRIVE ACCOUNT VULNERABLE BECAUSE YOU FORGOT TO SIGN OUT!!! If you have a buddy with a TMobile or Sprint GS6 or GS6E, you can log onto their device in the same fashion.
Easy Peasy

@jeff_roey, I highly recommend you place a disclaimer in the OP for security reasons as people would be logging into devices they don't own (as per your instructions). Even though it's pretty obvious, to keep yourself safe you may want to explain that you will not be held responsible if people forget to log out of their accounts and such. I posted this over on reddit and some users pointed it out so just FYI.

I did this with the 50GB dropbox promo they had in the past, works well.
Received my free 100GB on Verizon
All I did was make a new account, few days later I received a notification from Onedrive saying I had an exclusive offer from Samsung. Click OK. And boom, I had it.
at first I installed One Drive and it only gave me 15gb of storage. what I did was un-install the app, re-install it. when you get to the end of the setup screen it will ask you if you want the 100gb free. all I did was enter my email from my MS account and when done installing it showed 115gb of storage. and I`m on Verizon.. just wish I could get the "Smart Manager" feature.
Smart manager is just powered by clean master and clean master is horrible.

So we can still get the extra 100gbs without using a TM/Sprint phone just by installing the app?
That's all I did. Made new account and few days later received the notification

I install the OneDrive on to my Verizon S6, and instantly got free 100MB.:good:
After replacing my wife's broken (screen rotation issue) phone Monday night, I noticed that OneDrive asked (again) if we wanted the free 100GB.
"Sure!"
It now reports she has 240GB available - up from the 40GB that she had before we got the S6 Edge.
Not sure if they'll ever catch that, but it appears to be incrementing it on each phone that gets provisioned.
So I don't know if Verizon/Microsoft/Samsung changed anything on the backend but I just got my S6 on Monday and installed OneDrive fresh only one time, logged in to my Microsoft account, and got the 100GB without any special tricks.

Yes, it's been confirmed...and you do NOT need to create a new account. I got my 100GB on my new Outlook account that I set up recently because I purchased a new laptop, and my old, old account that I set up for XBOX Live.
Procedure: Step 1 - install OneDrive from Google Play.
Step 2 - Sign into OneDrive with existing Microsoft account.
Step 3 - Sign out of OneDrive
Step 4 - Un-install OneDrive
Step 5 - Re-install OneDrive from Google Play
Step 6: Sign back in using the same account from Step 2, and it should open directly to the 100GB promo page !!!
Step 7: Enjoy
Was able to get the promo on the first installation of the app. My only bummer is that it's a 2 yr promo, at which time I'll have to go in and copy 100 gigs of stuff onto an external hard drive somewhere. (which will be great on a regular high speed connection... 100 gigs? should only take a week...)
The Samsung Offer is no longer available with the latest OneDrive version on a VZW GS6

Hello, last night I received a software update on my device realme gt2 the version was the A.18 but soon afterwards I received a Google play store error that the device is not certified and I can't use Google pay. Anyone else facing the same issue. The device was bought in EU and had the European software version.
I also have "device is not certified" after update A18, but no issues with Google play. I can install, run any Google app, etc.
Also on the European version of the device.

His issue is with Google pay, not play. Google pay needs the device to be certified. Its up to realme to certify the build, hopefully anytime soon.
Yes!! Im having the same issues (Im in the UK)
Absolutely pathetic that they haven't certified the build. I use google pay daily and this is really frustrating
Same here I can't use Google pay anymore. Phone is EU. It giving a error that my device is not certified or is rooted.

Yes I also have security check issues after my upgrade to RMX3311_11_A.18. I don't use Google Pay yet, but it indeed prevents me from setting it up. I am also in the Netherlands by the way.
I noticed myself because I could not get access to my company Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams apps anymore. And maybe worse after a factory reset (to try to see if that could fix it) I CANNOT INSTALL NETFLIX app from Google Play anymore!!!!

You have misinterpreted the principle of Google Family Link.
It is not the parent, but the adult (according to regulations in the country) child who disables the service himself.
He can't get it off his phone. The Family Link has a device admin setup and will not allow him to remove it.
