HTC ONE HTL22 Radio Problem - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a HTC J ONE HTL22 and a few days ago I lost my network signal completely. Contacted my network provider everything was good, bought a new sim tried that and still no network. The day I lost it I went into the service menu #*#*4636*#*# and into Phone Information and was just trying some different network settings. I clicked select radio band...and I saw Euro Band,Japan Band,US Band ,AUS Band ,AUS2 Band. I tried US Band to see the result and than i lost that menu ,now I only see Automatic, Cellular(800-MHz Band) and PCS(1900-MHz Band). When I try Automatic it says Unsuccessful. The other 2 successfully work but don't give me my network back? I've done a factory reset and still nothing changes. When I manually search for a network,it comes up blank. before it showed Bell,Telus,Rogers etc. So it's defiantly something with my radio.
My cell is UNLOCKED, S-OFF, CID-11111111, HBOOT-1.54.0000, RADIO-1.23.11.0829 and CWM installed, running stock 4.2.2. So I'm wondering is there a way to reset my radio or any help on flashing a new radio? Thanks

Thanks for the link. Today I tried to install a new radio through CWM. I pick the zip to install and after a few seconds it says complete...I reboot and my radio never changes. I've tried it through CWM and Rom manager. Am I doing something wrong?

Anyone know of a way to get my Radio Bands back? or any other service number codes to possibly reset the Radio. Thanks

This might be of a bit more value. It seems the prior link was for a different HTC One model. Above link is for M7. Check it out if you still need a radio/baseband.
I also realized your phone is a Japanese variant...I dont know if that makes a difference or not in compatibility, but I wanted to mention you could try using ADB to flash the radio/baseband instead of using recovery. I think you could also upgrade your firmware, which usually includes the baseband. Good luck...

Thanks for reply
Nothing help
flash radio through fasboot and TWRP does not matter

Same here...still no luck yet. Still have no network. Makes no sense why the radio bands cant be restored!?

many service centers, many ROMs nothing help

with Alpha 19 you have to manually add the APN (device internet) connection settings. if you post your issue in the Alpha 19 thread, someone would have pointed you to the solution.
I put the apn Italians but nothing to do .. but nothing changed sim to do ... wipe reset but nothing to do .. my nexus is no longer 'in 3G, works only in 2g ... possible hardware fault?
I went back to the original ROM but nothing ... tried everything but nothing ... three thousand radios wipe but nothing more .. I do not know 'what to do

my other recommendation is to go to Settings->Wireless & networks->Mobile network settings->Network Mode and make sure you do not have GSM only selected. my phone is set to GSM /WCDMA auto.
thanks but I have it set only WCDMA, but nothing, automatic GSM and WCDMA, but nothing.. phone and 'without a net .. with only 2g takes me roaming
in the post under my edebby seems to have the same problem
nobody to help me understand what 'success
try a new sim card...
I tried four sim and all four same problem

dial *#*#4636*#*# and check network setting is set to GSM/WCDMA/LTE AUTO
Are your speeds any slower? I think some carriers call different things 4G, so with a non carrier specific ROM, you get a different graphic.
I think there's a way of changing it in the build prop.

I'm running the latest firmware
something tells me that this updated firmware has something to do with it.i have the same problem here i live in greece and i can't get lte either.damn..i know for a fact that the model i own mid 071000 or something like that is capable of using my carriers lte band. something is wrong with either the radio or with the roms i used in the past.it is going to be very hard to find the right compination..im gonna go to a store and see what the latest radio on their devices that came from factory for greece was and try to make something out of that..to make matters worse i didn't even saw LTE in the 4.3 updated firmware either..

doesn't mean that they are correct, my carrier's default APN settings are one thing, but in order to get LTE to work, I need to manually add an APN with the correct settings.

Try going into *#*#4636#*#* phone info and make sure your radio is set to wcdma preferred. If that don't work just play around with some settings there.

If that doesn't work, you can try flashing firmware. I had the same problem once except it was after I flashed a ROM instead of reset. After a day of researching, i found out I had lost my radio. I dug up the firmware for my phone and flashed it. To test if this solution is for you, reboot into bootloader (turn off completely then turn on while holding volume down), and at the top it should say things like hboot, radio, S-on (or S-off depending if you've done the S-off procedure), etc. If you do not see Radio and a number next to it, then this solution should fix your problem although you say your using Airtel but this forum is for the Sprint HTC One. If you have the sprint htc one, then you can click on this download link. I still have the copy of firmware that fixed my problem on my phone so I uploaded it to Mediafire to make it easier for you. Download it and put it in the root of your phone. Then, boot into recovery, and click install, and find the file I provided and flash it. Then reboot and you should have signal again. PLEASE DO SOME RESEARCH ON THE CORRECT FIRMWARE VERSION FOR YOUR PHONE because I dont know the exact model of your phone. The reason I say this is because you can SEVERELY DAMAGE YOUR PHONE if you flash the wrong firmware and I AM NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR PHONE. This firmware is for my Sprint HTC One 32gb U.S. sim card. Hope this helps. Download link: https://www.mediafire.com/?ybl9j7uztu3i1ae

[Q] 3G signal full but calls on emergency only.

Hello, I got a HTC M8 HK unlocked from the following post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2718150 3 months ago the phone was working without any issue, then sunddenly the signal went gone and I place the phone on airplane mode then I deactivated it. The signal recovered pretty fine.
Then a couple of days ago the phone refused to receive/send calls only 3G is working, emergency calls are working so I assumed that the GSM antenna is working fine since I was able to place a emergency call.
Im still using the stock ROM 4.4.2 recently I updated the software to 5.0.1 to see if the problem can be fixed but nope... The issue stills there.
So if any one was able to replicate or is having the same issue can guide me in order to recover this.
I'm going to flash the following radio to re-attempt the unlock procedure again.
1.12.651.17 Original Stock ROM
Thanks for reading!
Cheers!
I would run the RUU for the 5.0.1 update to make sure your firmware is up to date. If you only updated your software but not your firmware you're going to have issues. If this doesn't fix your issue I'd try ##72786# from the dialer and do a reset from the menu once it comes up, and, if all else fails, run ##3282# from the dialer and then reset from there. You'll need your MSL code for that last one. You can get your MSL code from Sprint or by using the MSL reader app from the Play store. RUU's can be found in OMJ's RUU thread in the development section.
Hey thanks! I will do that when I arrive home!
The problem will be that I need to get back to 4.4.2 to perform the unlock again, since this is the Harman Kardon edition from the Sprint.
Another thing that is kind of funny that I have full 3G connectivity downloading at 3MB/s
HBOOT: 3.16.0.0000
RADIO: 1.08.20.0610
OS: 1.54.654.15

Well my friend it didn't work sadly
Now I'm going to try to convert my HK to a simple Sprint M8 to check if the radio versions interfere, I was watching a lot of comments when you change the radio it affects everything, since Sprint only wants to keep them running on their network the modify this one as well. So I will use another version to see what happens.

Not sure why you'd want to change versions, as the only difference is the ADSP firmware. The radios are the same.

Well to be honest I'm a noob on this topics, well I converted the device to M8 directly from sprint and the same history only 3G data but no calls, also I modified the settings of the bands with QSPT same result as well. I'm going to migrate to 5.0.1 and follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59462305&postcount=4293 to check what happens. I already also changed the nano SIM to the same operator... But it's really curious to me... Why he's able to deliver a emergency call on the GSM network... If the antenna is damaged it should allow this type of calls at all...

Phone can not register in GSM network even after SIM unlock (QPST Backup needed)

Hello! I need some help with my HTC One M8 Sprint.
Im from Russia, phone work well about 2 years with full gsm network support.
After turn off due batery disharge SIM Locked again. I flash Sense rom and make sim unlock but my phone unable to conect to the my operator network.
I read here that sometimes GSM bands can be reset. I install QPST, made a backup of NVRAM and folow this instruction https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-htc-one-m8/general/enabling-3g-umts-countries-t2847461.
After this my phone start to see Russian mobile operators, but can not register on them.
I tried chage my SIM card and tried SIM card of another operator, dont work. Just cant register in network.
I think that in addition to the band something else reset in the radio module firmware.
I put the phone in the service center, but the diagnostic for mechanical damage did not give any results, everything is fine.
I attach all avaible info from DFS app and fastboot and proof that my phone scaning networks, maybe someone can help.
If anyone has a backup of NVRAM, please, chare it with me so i can compare parameters.
OK I will try to help you, I'm currently busy. For now hide the picture with your imei.

Ok, I started from the beginning.
Flash 4.25.651.14 firmware.
Install 4.25.651.14 RUU.
In this tread some guy said that he cannot connect to the network on MM RUU and 4.25.651.14 RUU helped him.
Make Factory Reset in fastboot and radio reset through the command ##786#.
Then I make SIM Unlock with this method.
Intall InserctCoin ROM that figure in instruction and go on. SIM unlocked sucessful and GSM operators became available when scanning.
But still can not connect to the network
