Mobile Data Disconnected - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had my phone running stock with data perfectly fine today and than I decided to unlock, install TWRP, and rooted with superSU
I booted into twrp wiped everything cleaned and installed a custom rom [Viperone 6.2.1] and the only issue I seem to be having for the last few hours was the mobile data issue. It keeps saying disconnected in the setting and I couldn't figure out what was wrong.. any suggestions? I tried looking up the answer and some people mentioned that I might've wiped out the original firmware for the radio??? Totally confused at this point

[Q] Can't receive calls?

Hi, I just installed the Andromeda ROM on my Captivate, and quickly realized that i can't receive any calls. I can, however, make calls. If there's a quick fix for this, that would be great, if not, I guess I'll have to flash back to another ROM... Thanks.
Not a rom issue cause I have been running andromeda for three dates with no such issue.
first have you asked this on the rom thread?
Have you tried going into airplane mode then back?
Reboot?
Different modern?

I couldn't reply on the thread.
I just tried going into airplane mode and back, and I'll test it in a minute...
I keep getting the force close vibration pattern, and it says phone keeps getting force closed. What can I do?
Go into recovery, clear davlik cache under advanced options, reflash rom.
Did you restore things with titanium backup, and if so did you restore any system data
Just curious why you would suggest clearing cache then reflash rom when the script is going to wipe it anyway?

Over the top ocd precaution. Your are correct, note a necessary step
That made me lol mccord....i have mine somewhat under control
You need to re flash. Enjoys time only restore user apps and not system data

I am experiencing the same issue, and I didn't quite understand this last post. Did you just reflash and not recover your system data as others recommended? Or is there something else you did to correct the problem?
Thanks for the help.

You're going to have to reflash, like they said. I did this the first time I flashed a ROM and though "Oh great.. I knew I shouldn't have flashed from stock...", but I just reflashed and didn't restore system data, and all has been working great since then.
Fixed
That fixed it. Reflashed Andromeda and restored only apps with Titanium Backup, not system data. Everything seems to be working great now.
Thanks.

My device is restarting like crazy

Guys, I'm having a problem which is driving me crazy!! It keeps restarting by itself.
The device has been bought from the store (not second-hand or something) and since then, I had no problems with it. I've dropped it two times on the floor, but after that was working fine, no problems.
From the beginning I've rooted and installed ARHD on it (now I have 41.0), and from about 2 weeks (the last drop on the floor was about 1-2 months ago) it keeps restarting. The phone freeze suddenly and then restarts. I thought that maybe is something regarding an application, but no, 'cause rarely during restart (when the One logo appears) it restarts again - again, rarely this scenario happens.
There is any chance to try something and see if is working, or normally I should take it back to the store (I don't think that they will receive it, since it has some traces from dropping)?
try wiping cache and dalvik
or clean flash your ROM

that's good, but did you restore anything with Titanium backup or any other backup software? this can cause a lot of problems when moving from 4.3 to 4.4

I've tried that, yes. I don't remember exactly, but this was happening also on 30.x, reason for which I've decided to do the update, in order to see if the problem persist.

Yes, I've restored some things from titanium; but, before, on 30.x was working fine and suddenly began to restart by itself - that's why I don't see the point about restoring from backup, since the restart issue began before updating to new ROM version.

the point is you moved the problem from 30.x to 40.x with the backup
Do a complete Wipe and clean install and see if your problem goes away
complete wipe includes factory reset + /cache /delvik
Ideally I would RUU back to stock and see if my phone is really broken or not

aha..could be this too, right . So, your advice is to make a clean installation (factory reset) and let it that way for several days with basic apps, to see the behavior?

This is a known issue if you have unlocked bootloader.
Some people have gotten it to work, but this seems random.
I had this with the FR FTF, Commercial and Journalist fixed it.

I'm having this issue. Very frustrating. I can't find a download for a commercial or journalist link. If I find one, do I have to do the whole process of clearing, flashing rom, power off, and then flashing FTF again, or do I just re-flash with the new ftf?

Nothing
Fixes for non working camera
1) Clear data for ALL camera related apps in settings
2) Do a factory reset
3) If rooted, enter recovery, clear cache, clear dalvik, reboot
Start with doing (1), see if it works, if not try (2), see if it works then try (3)
Only if all 3 of these options do not work should you try a full reinstall.
Mine just no focus
I can take pic. I am on lb

Thank you - fixed. Even asked if I wanted it to detect the APN for me! Anyone know how to invoke this function again because I reset the APN hoping to connect to the carrier rather than the provider APN, but it just deleted it!

It seems I've lost root, and also have no recovery. Any quick guides on how to install a recovery or reroot without having to reinstall rom again?

Those will likely do nothing, the error comes from mm-qcamera, which is part of low level libs, clearing dalvik cache is almost always useless. A factory reset won't affect this issue either.
I'm guessing some FTFs carry different versions of camera libs.

yes flashing the commercial-journalist version fixed the issue for me but I lost root and recovery. However, I used fastboot to flash Z1_DooMLoRD_AdvStkKernel_FW-681_v02.img and then flashed the latest Super Su from the new DooMLoRD recovery to re-root the device.

Hi,
after update to 4.4.2, my camera freezes after a few shots.
I made the step 1, rebooted the phone, and now it seems to be ok.
Thanks a lot.

No mobile signal after installing Xposed on HTC 10

Good morning, I have an HTC 10 with S-Off and root privileges. Yesterday I've tried to install Xposed, first of all the apk and then flashed the zip through Twrp. At the reboot I have no mobile signal, and if I try to switch from 2g to 3g or 4g nothing appears. I've tried to flash the uninstaller.zip and rebooted, but also the same problem. I've tried to perform a factory reset then format data and install the Maximus Hd rom release 2.7, but nothing. Then I've tried to flash the last RUU, but still the same problem. How can I solve?

If you have flashed full stock and you're still not getting a signal, then it sounds like an issue with the carrier. I'd suggest giving them a call

Nope, I've installed Leedroid last release, then reverted to stock flashing RUU 1.90 but before of this last passage I have formatted data and did a factory reset.

I have did also this but nothing, still no line. I have brought the phone at a collection point suggested by HTC Live chat and, of course, opened a ticket saying that there's no line and I've unlocked the bootloader using their scheme on htcdev. Obliviously it doesn't be a reparation in warranty, but out of warranty. I'm honest.
