Trying to fix my phone so its useable. Was given a bad ROM to instal to try to s-off my device to return it to unrooted/locked state and get my normals updates back.
I can load up into bootloader and recovery.
I use twrp
twrp always fails whenever I try to do a wipe of anything.
Whenever I try to flash a rom to my phone I get an error and it doesnt work.

I had a similar issue when I inadvertently flashed an HTC Verizon ROM. To fix it, I went back to the stock RUU. The link below will get you an RUU that you should be able to use. Search for "flashing back to stock" or "flash RUU" to get instructions on what to do.

Ended up reflashing to RUU, upgrading OTA, then re-rooting. Thanks anyhow!

Don't use the firewater HBOOT. Use the proper one. Try flashing the firmware by itself, so your HBOOT will get replaced, then try flashing the RUU.

Hi,
I have an Android Revolution HD 90.1 installed (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183023) and my HTC One boots up, but the SIM is not working, neither the baseband!
Everytime a flash a different ROM (tried over 5 until now, including VIPER etc.), it hangs up and reboots!
So fastboot tells me:

Now i try to get a stock image working to have SIM and baseband back.
Everytime I want to flash the firmware OTA_M7_UL_K44_SENSE60_MR_Vodafone_UK_5.16.161.2-4.19.161.11_release_379920.zip, i get the following errors:

I also tried flashing the preload image M7_UL_preload_4.19.161.11_(flashbar).zip, but no change.
So how can i get my HTC One back to live?

Well i'm not sure what is wrong with your phone but I can tell you you can't flash an OTA with custom recovery and I have no idea what the preload file you have is .. it it a rom or a RUU ? if it's a RUU you flash it with fastboot oem RebootRUU followed by fastboot flash zip RUU.zip 2 times.

M7_UL_preload_4.19.161.11
Flash this file with custom recovery
Then flash stock Recovery or flash firmware 4.19.161.11
Then try to update your phone
You don't have S Off so you can't flash OTA zip manually

Your hboot is 1.55, 1.xx.xxx.x RUU is hboot 1.44, you can't downgrade with s-on, so this ruu won't work. Try to find a newer sprint RUU, maybe a 3.xx.651.x or 4.xx.651.x. Another possiblity is to unlock the bootloader, flash a sprint twrp recovery and a sprint custom rom.
