Is there stuff any good? I just ordered a full body protector + install kit for $1.65 shipped. For the price you cant go wrong I guess.

Garbage compared to a tempered glass protector. Trust me get the glass and u'll be happy
That's a poor reflection on XtremeGuard. Most plastic protectors are not as good as tempered glass ones.
I can vouch for XtremeGuard's full body protection. I had the rear protector which is a wet install product. It was top notch to be fair, easily as good as bigger more expensive brands like Zagg. I only removed it as I got a good deal on a SlickWraps matte feel rear protector.
For the money, XtremeGuard always offering high discount, you can't go wrong.

Agreed, but some people don't want a tempered glass protector.
I for one LOVED the feel of my xtremeguard. I actually dropped something right on the screen of my phone (a large lithium ion battery) and it make a giant nick on surface.
I was filling out the forms for getting my phone replaced via HTC Advantage, and at the last moment before submitting I decided to just peel off the protector and see how badly the glass was damaged, since I was returning it anyway.
Turns out the ding looked like it went through on the glass, but it was entirely on the screen protector!
Saved my phone! I had the full body, and I loved the feel of the gloss back. It made it just sticky enough to be easier to grip and didn't spoil the look of the phone at all. Fantastic, and for the price? it's a complete no brainer. Last time they had this sale I bought five, and I don't regret buying that many at all. It's amazing.
Wow thanks for the post. Been looking for a screen protector. I ordered their tempered glass and the full body wrap (Just in case I dont like one or the other) for a total of $7.65 shipped! Glad I didn't spend 2-3x that last week Cheers
I have used xtremeguard now for the second time (first time was on a phone I had to get replaced due to a defect)...I personally use it for the protection between the phone and any case I install...I work in a dusty environment and it really helps protect from stuff rubbing into the aluminum body and scratching it...awesome product.

Great idea, thanks. Going to use the back from the full body protector (under my case), and the tempered on the front!
Have the glass protector on my phone right now. Feels just like the GLAS.t on my Note 3. Tried taking a key and knife to it, and it left no scratches. Granted I did not press down super hard, but enough to simulate something more than normal. Would recommend especially with their massive discounts.
I have their wet install screen protector on now and have had it since I got the phone. Works good, just like any other wet install screen protector. I have tried alot of different ones, and they are all about the same to me.
Here's a video of it on the device
Got it on mine. Doesn't smear, applies easy and looks invisible. Top notch especially for the price. (I got them on the 90% offer)

Hello Gents first post on this awesome forum I use once a day, I have exactly 5.67 in ebay dollars and I am wanting to invest in a screen protector from ebay. I have very little experience with various type of screen protectors and I am trying to find the ideal candidate. I do not want either a mirror or full body skin, I do however like the look of this "matte" and I feel it was a screen protector I had once before but am not sure. I am looking for something very smooth and under 5.67 on ebay! Will look at any reply exceptions made on price but cheap is key.
Most generic screen protectors are the same; they're just clear. The problem with them is that the cut outs are usually a little off if you get a cheap one. SGP probably makes the best ones that I've used but they're expensive.
Always heard good thing about sgp.I think they are about 10dollars on ebay.
In the past I've used momax (shop.momax.net) and liked it (but it was on non touch devices), but I don't know if they are available on ebay.
sgp make great screen protectors but theirs do not cover all of the phone and leave a gap from the bezel to the screen you can try other companys such as clearivue or skinomi

Guess there are many on ebay, and I guess momax have one too.
i`m just curious, what for do you need screen protector? i didnt use none since ive bought NS and there is not even one scratch.
This won't really help your budget, But here's my 2 cents
I just bought a zagg invisible shield screen protector the other day. I got the full body, back and screen protector. I have yet to apply the back cover, but im actually very impressed with the product so far. I got it at best buy, and paid 5$ for the girl there to apply it.
I treat my phone well but damn I have to buy a screen protector now because my screen somehow feels grainy as hell almost like my fingerprints actually scratched the screen really annoying this phone is quite new as well I ordered the clarvious one or however its spelled hopefully fixes this problem
Do you know ZAGG invisible shield? I think it is one of the best screen protector for our nexus s
U can tried idefence screen protector. Since it cover all your phone body to ensure maximum protection. It also much cheaper than zagg..

I got a matte screen protector free with a case I bought. I have never liked screen protectors before because of the air bubbles being such and issue and the extra glare on the screen. When I got my Nexus S I really wanted to protect it so I put the matte screen protector on it and it fit really well. I think it makes the screen oddly blurry at some angles but for me I really like the matte effect and prefer it to glossy screen protectors I tried on other phones and the matte is easier to read in the sunlight over the glossy ones..

I had ZAGG invisible shield on mine since I bought it (about a year ago) and it worked like a charm. However, I took it off about a week ago because of a post I saw about how it makes the screen less vibrant. Having the invisible shield on it really reduced how clear and vibrant the screen was. Now that i took it off, it looks like a totally new phone
Look at what the mailman brought to me today. I may have waited for some time to get this but it's still worth it for only USD7. It's now installed and ready for use again. I can finally let go of my capdase case and screen protector. A good alternative to Zagg. I got one before for my I9003 but it totally sucked! This one's way better.

I use Realook on my vibrant and love it..
However, the review on Amazon about Realook on NS is not that good..
So I am wondering which one I should use..
PS. I want clear one, but not the ZAGG orange peel feelings...
I've been using Best Skins Ever for awhile for most of my stuff and it does the job, but if you have the money, Skinomi is a very nice product.
I purchased this based on some feedback I had read one some other forums. I have tried nearly every major screen protector out there (Spigen, RearthUSA, Incipio, PowerSupportUSA, Switcheasy, BodyGuardz, XO Skins, Best Skins Ever, a ton of cheap ones off Amazon, Zagg, etc.). Up until this point, I had always found the Ultra Crystal from Spigen to be the best overall. Not anymore.
Before I get started I want to mention that the Martin Fields Screen protectors are not cheap. One screen protector for the Nexus 7 is $29.99 ($34.99 for one iPad protector and $16.99 for one Galaxy Nexus protector)and it only comes with one screen protector and a set of instructions. That's it. I will say that the packaging is very environmentally friendly for those that care (makes no difference to me).
One issue I've always found to be a huge problem with these dry, crystal clear screen protectors (Again, think Spigen Ultra Crystal) is that they show fingerprints so easily that it really can become a huge nuisance and to my surprise this one doesn't show much at all. I would say it's nearly as good at resisting fingerprints as a matte finish screen protector.
A very innovative feature this screen protector offers is that it is completely removable. They include a Mylar sheet that you can stick it to if you need to take it off. Just apply a small piece of scotch tape at the bottom corner and slowly pull to remove it. This does bring up the biggest problem that I have with this protector though. It is somewhat brittle. It will crease if you aren't careful with it.
Turn on a steamy shower and install. Be patient as these things are a perfect fit and will require some patience to install.
Quick Summary:
PROS:
As clear as any I've ever used
Does not pick up oils like most clear, dry application screen protectors generally do
Feels as close to glass as anything I've ever used
Reusable
Covers entire screen
Comes with a Camera Lens cover as well
CONS:
Not cheap. If you purchase directly from MartinFields.com it is $16.99 + $4.99 shipping. Be aware of fakes on Amazon.
Doesn't come with much. Just a simple paper package, a screen protector and a Mylar sheet to apply it to if you decide to take it off and use it later.
Fragile, it will crease if you aren't careful

Hahahaha! That is hilarious. They do show fingerprints like a lot of dry application protectors but they don't have that blue smear effect ou get (Ultra Crystal).
So I purchased one of these and installed it this afternoon. All is well except three of the corners have a bubble and appear slightly lifted. The protector appears to be installed properly and no amount of rubbing with a credit card or fingers can get these edges to stick. Fwiw, I tried a reinstallation and have not touched the adhesive side.
Sent from my Nexus 7
How easy to install screen protector like this on Nexus 7?
I have concern for dust particles, bubbles and imperfection because 7" is not quite small.
And how is it with the touch, swiping, etc. still good?
If you can make some photos showing from corner to corner, that would be awesome.
Thanks for your review btw, I am considering to use this MF screen protector + some kind of back-case ala Incipio Feather for phones
I have installed probably 10 different protectors on devices of various shapes and sizes, and I find that with patience, the bigger the device, the easier it is to get the protector aligned properly. But it does take patience as you can spend 15-30 minutes just fishing dust out with scotch tape without getting fingerprints on the back side of the protector to get a perfect, bubble free adhesion.
I gave up on running a hot shower while doing it as it just makes the dust harder to find if it gets on the screen anyways, and for me it always seems to.
For all those who are looking for a full cover screen guard for your new beast try the ones below.I prefer them because they provide protection without spoiling the sexiness of the device.. Especially dedicated for those who don't like to use covers:fingers-crossed:

I did acknowledge that, but my point stands, I've had full body from Xtremeguards (various products) and I wouldn't buy from them again. Too many faults, poor fit, indents/marks/creases on protector, black dot contamination, guards fused together, leaking bottles in shipping and trimming slivers on edges. To name what I can remember off hand.
Bodyguardz have also released a duo pack. €25 for 2 complete body shields. They are very mich like zagg. I used their skin for my ipad 3. No complains!!

I'm thinking, why cover the back? If I scratch it 'that' badly, I'll buy a new back. Maybe even a new color for fun!
I'll probably get a screen protector. I had a Steinheil Crystal Clear on my OG EVO for over a year. When I removed the protector, it was still clear. I can't say that about the previous screen protector, which was yellowed after 1+ years of use.

Maybe you could buy a new back cover, but original ones with nfc should be expensive....
And always the chances are that you aint gonna it that bad are slim and when you admire the beast that small scratch would really be hurting...
I'm not a big fan of these on the Note or Note 2. The pen isn't as precise...

YOUR 100th POST!! :good: :victory:  :highfive:
Hey guys,
I've had my Mac protected with Wrapsol since i bought it in august. Had the film replaced once under warranty when i was replacing my hard drive. It's a great product, great warranty, and great customer service.
So on black Friday i Purchased my Note 2 as well as a Wrapsol for it. The second i tok the Note 2 ot of the box, i installed the wrapsol. Overall its great. I love it. I usually hate screen protectors. (Hate Zagg for yellowing and grip-ness, hate military shield for marks that are left with your nails, and hated the Moshi antiglare. All were on my S3).
This one i truly love. It was my second experience every with their "Dry application". (the mac is a wet application). Had zero bubbles in the front. Had 3 bubbles in the back that went away after a few hours. everything is protected. Your nails don't leave marks in it. and the film doesn't yellow over time. No marks left in it by the S-pen. No rainbow effect. Also IMO, Smooth as glass, not like the zagg shield. Also, no texture to it and no orange peel. They give you a life-time warranty. Even if you peeled it off yourself cause you installed it incorrectly.
The only thing i didn't like about it were the side protectors. They're a PITA to install, and the edges on them are annoying. so i took them off.
and best of all the film didn't lift when i installed my new Speck candyshell case. (awesome case, but gets scratched way to easily. )
Here are pictures:

Currently have Spigen Ultra-Oleophobic installed. I'm actually quite happy with it because my installation was good, and it is resisting fingerprints very well. But your review of Wrapsol had me want to try it. It seems that Wrapsol is much thicker and would provide better protection for the Note 2's large screen. The Ultra-Oleophonic does scratch a bit with the S-Pen, but it seems that I can wipe the scratches away.
Anyway, what do you think? Would you recommend a switch to Wrapsol?

Nice combo!
Since my tablet is rather brand new, I decided not to remove the plastic wrapping that has 90% of the tablet covered up.
I managed to poke a few holes for my headphones jack, the USB socket for my USB cable to charge and move files around, and the last two slot holes for my keyboard dock.
I wanted to know if this is okay as an alternative to dirt-cheap screen protectors for finger smudges and small drips of water?
Below are some of the pictures:

And here's the many fingernail scratches the plastic wrapping had endured from my usages.
Why are all the screen protectors jerky and rubbery? Skinomi, ZAgg, fosmon. Anyone care to add one to the list. Go right ahead.
I honestly don't know what it is with screen protectors I've tried.
The one I had for the tf101 was fine. The fosmon for the n7 was OK.
Ive found just giving it a good rub down with a microfibre cloth is good. Skinning it is cool looking but kind of flaky. It already looks cool. A nice case or hopefully some decent screen protector will come alongalong but don't spend too much money on a screen protector cause I for me its been 3 strikes. Or maybe I'm not getting it.
So, the plastic wrapping that came with the tablet is good enough for the job? I shouldn't buy screen protectors?

The wrapping is crap mate. Peel it off. This device doesn't need a screen protector IMO.
I agree. Screen protectors are like wrapping that new comfy couch in plastic to protect it (uhuuuuu!) totally ruining your enjoyment of it! Tear the wrapper off and enjoy the gorgeous screen, get a microfiber cloth for the fingerprints - as long as you don't drag keys or screwdrivers across the glass nothing will happen to it.

Hm...
My last experience with a Corning Gorilla Glass without a screen protector for my HTC phone resulted me having multiple tiny scratches made with just my fingernails scratching the surface while I was scrolling up and down on a website. So this is why I'm a bit worried.
No! keep it on! Put the tablet back into its original packaging box after every usage for best protection too. Just joking.. Honestly, just go naked.. Enjoy your device at its best.
Ok, keeping it on. Thanks for your suggestion.

Boo.... Peel it off. Seriously it doesn't need it on
I have this fosmon screen protector. Was a set of 3 for about $8 I would have to agree naked is best but I decided to give the second fosmon a try after reading that some of the screen protectors have to cure or set before they harden. Not sure if this is the case after the hell I've been through with the first ones. This one is OK. Has some bubbles I didn't put it on properly but feels decent. I'm getting a replacemnet from Skinomi so ill be giving that another try then let you know. Then if it is rubbery does not cure or harden then ill put the 3rd fosmons on. But Naked is better. I actually kind of like the screen protector. Then I know its safe.
The 700 fits the 701.
i bought the screen protector from caseen. it`s good and i prefer the protector on, sure it reduces the color a touch, and feels a little different but a good one will do wonders when you have had it 6 months and there's feint touches showing. because chances are they would be there on the screen if it didn`t have the protector.
however since my tablet is in repair and i lost the second backup sheet in the pack i now have no protector i guess when it comes back.
I`m also assuming it will come back just as fault as the original so i am therefore not bothered about the protector,
i will wait for this trio book and perhaps upgrade to that after waiting a few months and seeing how it goes games wise and build quality wise. I wonder how a celeron performs graphically in an android?
