So I used the automatic installer and it worked wonderfully, and I am loving how it all works.
I originally set out to try and get Google Play Edition onto my phone, but apparently there is an issue getting S-Off on the M7 at the moment, so further research lead me to CM and I think I will stay with it. I can't find anything that helps on the web, maybe the filter bubble, maybe it cause I am just a noob, but I have a few questions/problems. I have found some posts etc,but they all refer to versions in the 10 range, and they don't matchup to what I have on my phone.
When I go to Google Play it tells me I can't download Cyanogen Theme Showcase as the app is incompatible with my device. I have tried the Play and Services Framework clear data approach and not thing has changed after I reauthorized Play.
Might be related to the above one but When I go into 'Settings > Themes' there are no options to play with, where I have read that there should be.
In Google Chrome I can't 'Enable sync', I press the blue button but nothing happens.
What version does the update option in the 'Settings > About phone' go to? Nightly, RC, Stable, and how do I adjust this?
There was another one, but I can't recall that at the moment. So any tips and tricks for these would be great, or pointing me to a good user manual would be good as well.

(this has been posted to the Cyanogen Site Forum, but just getting a lot of looks)
I have the same issue with themes as you, I'm S-Off and was previously on GPE, flashed the latest nightly, I could install themes from the play store but none showed up in the theme chooser, flashed the milestone version, still the same, even clearing the data from theme chooser and theme provider hasn't fixed it.

Other than the S-Off, that is the same as well, install themes (no errors) but they don't appear anywhere. I suspect I am missing some of the setting options as well, but I can't seem to track down a current list to confirm.
Really frustrating, as CM is running noticeably faster than HTC Sense.
Everything else is working fine for me, just themes don't.
I managed to get S-OFF earlier, as reference that achievement didn't change anything. Also I have given up on Cyanogen, and have gone to the Google Play Edition found here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...tmctr=(not provided)&__utmv=-&__utmk=30500412

Firstly, thanks for posting this!
However, it seems I cannot install it. It's likely because the Jac Hero ROM I'm using is based on Cupcake when Goggles is suppose to run on Donut. Not sure what to do.
The only thing you can do is either get a experimental build of Hero 2.1 or switch to a non hero rom that has donut. Nothing else will get a app that runs on 1.6 and up onto a 1.5 rom.
Yay!
Works on my HTC Tattoo (resolution / screen size is sometimes a bit to low for all the written content, other then that, it works perfectly).
Thanks for sharing!
works great on hero running 2.0 =)
Link is dead. I found a link that might work. I posted it here:

EDIT: "Goggles could not be installed on this phone" HTC Magic
I Googled and it says the reason is because it's only Android 1.5, but Settings --> About Phone --> Build Number says 2.17...
Firmware version says 1.5, so does that mean I am only on Android 1.5?

Hello!
Anyone has the ".apk" of the lastest version of "google goggles"?
I can not access the "market" because I don't register for a gmail account (it asks for my mobile phone, p1ss off!)
Thanks in advance,
Any news?
Do everyone really go to the "android market place" to get the applications???
Did you all gave your mobile phone to google (probably without even reading the contract)
Why is there such thing as ".apk" if we can not get them???
New Android Market is out: 3.3.11
Root is not required!
Changelog:
- New setting: Auto-update apps (presumably, sets all apps to auto-update mode!)
- New setting: Update over Wi-Fi only (very usefull)
- New setting: Auto-add shortcuts (automatically adds homescreen shortcuts for new apps)
- Smaller font
- New app drawer icon
- Microphone (voice command) button in search menu
- Star rating chart on app pages
- Minor UI tweaks
[!] If its force closing, just open Settings > Applications > Manage > Market, and clear data.

Yes you can. Though new version is a bit slow for 2g network..
What does this have to do with our lovely Black?
Thanx man, I already have 3.1 and this 3.3 looks pretty much the same. Don't know why but it seems tome that this new version lags a lil bit compared to the 3.1, don't know if its just me or someone else feels this?
I downloaded this apk and installed. I could open the new market menus. Bu when I'm trying to download/install any application it freezes at the loading screen.
Then I uninstalled the new market via root exploerer. And Installed the old version(3.1), but at this time market crashes.
And now when I tried this version it crashes too.
Pls help hwo to recover the matket?

You may try clearing market data. Settings, applications...
As per developers like arcee advices, don't use leaked apps. I believe this came from ICS. As they may cause crashes.
Clearing data didn't work.
I'm currently using nova Rom. Can I install a new market Rom?
Updating ...
Thanks for the info!
I am running a rooted stock ROM (Golden - Jellybean 4.1.2), Nova Launcher Prime 2.2.3, WidgetLocker 2.4.2, various Xposed modules and XTheme (Alpha Blue Touchwiz).
I've noticed that when I receive a call I get two blue blocks as the picture below shows:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

}
I've uninstalled the modules and theme and the blocks are still there. Reinstalling the modules and theme makes no difference either.
I'm still able to answer/reject calls with swiping, it's just that the blocks are an annoyance.
Has anyone had this problem and can it be solved without doing anything too radical (I'll live with it if I have too)?

You don't need to live with it. Make a nandroid backup, then flash your rom again, to see if the problem remain.

Flashing the rom didn't help the curse of the blue blocks lives on...
Bumping for any other suggestions.

Hi Everyone,
I have had the Elegancia ROM installed onto a HTC Velocity (Telstra) phone for about six months. Most features of the phone have been working smoothly, however recently there have been issues with the 'Google Play Services' (as shown below - unfortunately some of the message is cut off).

I 'successfully' updated the Google Play Service through the Play Store; here I have put successfully in inverted commas as whilst the install from the Play Store went fine, it ultimately had no affect and the error message kept appearing.
After trying to fix this through the Play Store I followed the steps below -
1). Went into Settings > Apps
2). Found the Google Play Service App
3). Cleared the cache for this App
4) Uninstalled the App
5). Rebooted
6). Downloaded the newest version of the APK from APK Mirror
7). Installed the downloaded APK
8). Rebooted the phone
Not only did the above procedure not improve the situation, but now when I click on error messages related to the Google Play Service I am ultimately presented with the message below -
If you have seen this issue before and know how to fix it can you please share with me? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo
Had the very same problem. Am now running PAC 4.4.4 (current nightly build) and it is no longer a problem. I think ICS is just about obsolete.
Sent from my HTC Vivid 4G using XDA Free mobile app
I read somewhere that flashing the most recent gapps for ICS from recovery may fix the issue. I haven't tried it as I've given up on ICS in favor of kitkat.

I seem to remember having a similar issue to this a while ago. It was something to do with my Google account. There was a thread about it somewhere.
I had to log into Google Play on my PC an clear some stuff. I don't remember exactly I'll see if I can locate the thread and link it :good:
I can't find the thread but I did find then page it pointed me to http://m.androidcentral.com/managing-your-apps-through-google-play
Apparently it's no longer managed through the PC browser and has to be done through the playstore app on the phone. Unfortunately this seems to make it quite a tiresome procedure.
Any how. Open Google playstore on your phone. Go to "My Apps" and "All Apps". You will see a list it contains all the apps you've ever used with your Google account even if your not using them anymore. Apps that are not installed have an "x" button. Hit the x to permanently clear the app from your account. Remove as many as possible then wipe cache and data for Google playtore and reboot your phone. Try to download some apps from playstore. :fingers-crossed:
