hi, friends Do anyone Know how to Undervolt my galaxy note1 running latest omni 4.4.4 with raw kernel r6...?What are the best values with respect to the clock rate to get good battery life and reduce overheating ? Please get me an answer...
These values work fine for me. But each cpu has different values. So expriment by urself and tell me. Btw i am on stock 4.1.2 jb rom and forest make 2 kernel. And i am using setcpu for undervolting. Best of luck.

Hello Guys,
I'd like to know your favorite Rom ever for battery life, I don't care if it ugly or with bugs, I just want the best Rom for my battery.
thx
(and sorry for my bad english)

you might wanna look more at a kernel that's is what makes the battery life better also reset battery stats in cwm recovery

I find stock roms have the best battery life. If you really want to push it, get a basic rooted kernel w/ clock speeds (semaphore), and underclock your phone to maybe 800mhz.
try using a stock rom and a good root (semaphore/galaxian) and use low light display and underclock the cpu
Thx guys, I'm gonna try that, (sorry to respond 1month later lol)

can you please explain more about underclock your phone to maybe 800mhz
I use simplicity with special configurations in the semaphore kernel:
- Underclocking to 800MHz
- Simple-IO
- batterysave Governor
- autobrightness to dark
- darker-Voodoo Color
I also switch off Network and Auto-Sync with help of widgetsoid (see market) when not in use.
Goatrip has the best battery life

Hey, sindalf, what version are you running, I was on 2.11 using fugu(I think) kernel v3189, and my battery is not very good.
any rom with removed bloatware such as CM7 and others
try gamerz rom that is brilliant for bat life and removed bloatware
Back in the day that I didn't used MIUI ROM's I used Darky's and that battery life was great! Also the ROM was blazing fast.
Last version I used from Darky's was 10.2 or something like that (V10 for sure). Had about 2 till 3 days battery life. With slightly less usage than normal. And i must tell you that when I flashed that ROM i jys had a new battery.
Hi everybody. I have just seen the first benchmarks of the new galaxy s3 and I have been very impressed about them. Now I would like to try to overclock my note, but I'm a noob using tegrak Overclock. It has too many parameters for me, in fact I prefer setcpu, but I've read that tegrak us better for the note.
Is there anyone who can explain me how to set tegrak overclock in the best way?

anybody can help me? please!
Don't push it more by over locking... SGN share the same CPU with the SG2 but clocked to 1400 so its somehow over locked already.

i know this is noob but here i go,
Well this strange thing that bothers me. when ever i try to OC, with a OC kernel my phone's CPU drops to 600mhz.. donno why and there is no way around it. i tried to OC through CM7.2... its like Setting> Cyanogen > performance.. and there it shows only up to 600mhz. :crying: please help me... also i would appreciate if anyone could recommend a OC kernel for me.
Try SetCPU
Enviado desde GALAXY Ace S II [email protected] 2
What do you mean it drops to 600MHz?
Becuase one thing is Min and Max CPU speed and other is the current speed...
+ Which ROM you have installed?
+ How do you know it drops to 600MHz?
Try setcpu app.

Are you really have the normal S5830? Maybe you have for example cdma edition of Ace (if it exist).

Edit: I dug a little bit on specs and I foubd out that my ace is having a 'arm v6 compatible processor rev 5 (v61)... how could this happen. Not what I expected. :'(

The battery life on my girlfriends note is rather poor, I'm not sure how the kernel work with the note but she's currently running jellybam. Can anyone suggests some energy efficient ROMs ?

I am using SAmsung Stock ICS 4.0.4 with Philz kernel. I have no problems with the battery.
BurtROM LSZ and PhilZ LSZ = PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY PERFECT.:good:
Rightnow my note is running on jellybam it can stand for day with fair usage

It depends on how you define poor.
There's the usual things to do, you can undervolt to help, throttle the top end, get better battery stats to check for wake locks, make sure gps /wifi /bluetooth /sync aren't on when you don't need them. Turn down screen brightness as that probably the biggest drain on battery, so using apps with light background isn't great.
You can use different governor / scheduler combo. Some people say pegasusq /sio is a good one. Some apps help either by turning off services you don't need while your not using your phone or by adding tweaks to help efficiency.
Use search for battery tips as there's a lot of information out there.
That said there's always the old gem of 'new battery' depending on how old her note is. Remember there are larger than 2500mAh batteries out there, although above a certain point the battery gets thick and comes with a new back to help contain it.
Hope that helps.

I use ROM Toolbox Pro to change the CPU speed. I don't think the phone supports dual core only as it is also buggy even when using LG Gear Box. To save energy you can simply downclock it to 1 ~ 1.1Ghz and use DS battery saver to enjoy deepsleep. Also, I use "interactive" governor and feel that it gives the best balance between battery life and performance on O4X. If this phone had "pegasus" governor, I might use that one and see if it's better since it has proven to be very good on my SGN2.
