Hello community, congratulations for your work, I'm Italian and I read quite a while, I had a question, I upgraded to 4.4 but I am disappointed 10.5.A.0.230 the lag and battery, I would like to go back to 4.2 and was very good for me , but I remember that there was a bug on the battery percentage, I know indicate that the firmware ftf not experience this problem with the battery, can not remember which update it was!

Orange (EE) taking forever to release JB update

Orange seem to be taking years to release the JB update for the Xperia T. I know they have to check it and whatnot, but does it really take that long, since both Google and Sony have already been through the update with a fine toothcomb?
I'm seriously considering rooting my phone as Orange (EE) are just promises and more promises.
Is it worth rooting?
Please advise..
root isnt necesary when you want to flash different region firmware...just backup your firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377853 and then flash some JB firmware via flashtool and when you want to go back just flash your created backup:good:
Vodafone is not planning on releasing 4.1 either, at least here in Spain.
Frankly, I don't bother with carrier customized roms any more, as soon as I check the phone is working I start flashing.
Conercao, you should do the same thing that i've done.
Take an official JB .tft files from XT wihout operators (like Orange, which never follow updates), you can find this on the forum, and you've to flash it using flashtool.
There is no bug or no problem with it, because it's the ROM provide by Sony, without all orange stupids apps.
If you want to keep the root, there is some tutos in the android dev sections to keep it (downgrade via flashing an old firmware .303 if I remember and do some particular things to keep the root). I haven't done this, just because i forgot it when i flash the JB tft files.
Maybe i'll do this next week, I don't know ...
Did the same as others here op. Just get the official firmware and flash. First android phone I've had that I've not felt compelled to root.
Also highly recommend you check out Xperia Launcher 1.3.7 in these forums. An excellent modded stock launcher with a heap of extra features.

Well i tried the new 4.4.4 on MEA 1277-2880. My phone origins from that region. And well it had rebooted itself while it was in my charger stand over night resulting in the alarm didnt go off.
That bug i actually had on my Xperia V after a software update long time ago. I missed work that day i remember so naah, ill be rolling back to .761 instead. Since atlest that one didnt reboot over night causing the alarm not to ring.
GREAT work Sony, we sure can count on you doing great softwares or hardwares

[Q] Problems with build 14.4.A.0.108

Hi all,
I have upgraded my Xperia z1 about 3 weeks ago.
Since day 1, had issues with the contact process and phone process.
Just did a repair (official by Sony) but still, I'm suffering from the same problems.
Any idea what to do? Can I roll back to the former version?
Help will be highly appreciated!
Thanks, evolfin
Flash It
Just Flash it with a previous Firmware.
You can find the firmwares HERE.
Just flash it with the LATEST Flashtool and you are ready to go.
Thanks for the prompt reply.
Any specific version I need to use ? Any specific tool ?
Have same problem
Anyone have real solution. Is Sony working on a new update?
Could it relate to network issues ? I just moved to LTE based network...
Battery consumption is high
Hi,
Does anyone have any idea if there is a solution for these issues ?

I want to Downgrade my Z1

Hey everyone,
I need help soon as possible.
I have a Xperia Z1 C6903 with android 5.1.1 and my firmware is 14.6.A.9.368 and I want to downgrade to 4.4 (KitKat) because Android 5.1.1 is stealing a lot of battery and is slower than 4.4, so I want to get back to it.
MY PHONE IS ROOTED.
I saw a lot of threads about this, but I still don't know much..
I have flashtool, I just need a download link for a firmware of 4.4 (KitKat) that is compatible with my phone and will run without problems.
(I dont know if this is important but my SI is 1276-1925.8 EL,EN) <- Don't know what is this..
I'm from Portugal, so I'm sure I need a firmware of Portugal version I dont know.. I think I have an Unlocked phone.
Waiting for help.. Thanks!
Wrong board - this should have been under XPERIA Z1 Q&A, HELP & TROUBLESHOOTING
No, you don't need to unlock your phone's bootloader to use Flashtool and flash a stock 4.4.4
You can check the FTF download links posted in our community boards. Technically speaking it's OK to use another regions FTF on your phone, i.e. Philippine phone (like mine) using Singapore ROM is just as the same as Philippine phone using Philippine ROM.
I recently downgraded to 4.4.4 from a spanish mod'er.
Was also just sick of LL's battery life... and suddenly I can forget about charging etc. Finally lasts for about two days again...

Lollipop is faster and much better overall
Kitkat just fur battery life on 3g and app compatibility
I find if i disable location the battery last longer

[Q] Need help with a C6166 stock firmware

Hi,
So some time ago I updated my Canadian Xperia Z C6166 to 5.1.1 and ever since the battery has just been appalling, I can open the phone and watch the % go down by the minute.
Now I am looking to downgrade it back to KitKat for the superior battery performance but after hours and hours of searching I've come up with nothing! I found a few links to 4.1.2 but they were all dead links and also for a US model.
I'm at my wits end to be honest, any help would be very gratefully appreciated.
Thanks
sorry man i will try to find for your device
