Can't flash kernels anymore... - Sprint HTC One (M7)

So i have flashed several kernels without any problems. My last one was kangaroo v100. I decided to give elementalx 13.5 another shot but when i did my dialer kept crashing and was getting forced reboots after about 60 seconds. That was enough time to check my kernel version and it still said i was on kangaroo.
I reflashed my radio to fix the crashes. I then factory reset and flashed a nandroid backup and reflashed my rom. This gave me back my stock kernel. Unfortunately the only kernel i can flash still is kangaroo v100. I can't even flash the updated v110. When i try to reflash elementalx, it doesn't take but the elementalx.conf file and the elementalx init.d script is in the file system.
Any idea on what could be preventing this? Id blame it on kangaroo but i tried flashing elementalx and kk v110 after my stock kernel to no avail.
ViperOne 6.2.1
M7 Sprint
Kangaroo kernel v100
TWRP 2.7.1.1
S-OFF
etc..

Try doing a clean flash (wiping everything except where your ROMzip is stored) and then after flashing Viper, load it up, finish setup, check kernel version, then try installing kangaroo kernel. Also, you should install the latest v110 version.

I guess a fresh flash would be worth a try but I got slippery sloth to work so I'm gonna roll with that for now; it's running alot smoother than the first time I tried it.

[Q] [help]camera does not work

I accidentally flashed bullproof kernel (not for sprint), then I flashed stocked boot.img, the phone worked again, then I tested bulletproof kernel (for sprint 1.00) and found camera does not work, I reflashed boot.img again, and the camera does not work either. It won't shoot anymore. The camera app opened without problem and the interface is there, just a black real time view, nothing there.
Could some experts tell me how to fix the problem? Will flashing a stock rom will fix the problem? How can I flash the stock rom (encrypted one, Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.7_encrypted_ROM.zip) using fastboot? Thanks in advance.
Restore the backup you made before flashing the kernel
If that doesn't work, look around the "port any Rom to sprint" thread in android development. There's a flashable camera libs zip

Thanks.
I will do a full RUU restoration. I will report it back.

Installing kernel while keeping stock rom

I have: HTC raider, root, s-on.
I want: install a kernel without changing roms
threads say: installing roms and kernels together
I kept trying to install kernels however they dont take. I had to use ruu to fix my phone a couple of times (RUU_HOLIDAY_ICS_35_S_Rogers_WWE_3.43.631.2_Radio_3.05.4740.21_34.30.701040.22_release_264282_signed).
I tried the gui flashing app and only ended up boot looping.
I read some where to use an old kozmik kernel to fix the problem and go from there, but they never provided file, link or version.
I use the all in one kit by hasoon (thanks for the program), but his kernel flashing doesnt work.
I use the adb method but it doesnt take. using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28397272&postcount=214.
I wanted to install kangbang or a kernel that is stable and optimizes battery use.
If someone could give me a hand that would be awesome.
I don't think you can flash a kernel to an RUU Rom. You need to flash the deoxed zipalined version first that's already been rooted and then you could try a different kernel. Never tried it though. There is one of those roms floating around here by a user named Jirv I think

installed a kernel
I installed:
[Kernel]Vivid ICS(v007)OC~1.73GHz/UV/ZRAM/Intellidemand/DualCore/PowerSaving[Jun-07]
I found out that I had to mount the system first before doing anything.
My phone says it has the faux kernel on it. Now if you say that i needed a rom, does that mean its not fully installed or since the dev said it can be installed on stock, then everything is ok?
I wonder if I have to mount the system every time I want to install a kernel even if the instructions dont say it....
You are good... I recommend intellidemand governor and 384 min 1512 max

[Q] Cant get most roms to work.

I have a verizon HTC one. Rooted, Unlocked, and TWRP installed. Ive tried installing numerous roms, the only two that have fully worked are NuSenceSIX and tiKtak Google Edition Plus. If you have any roms you suggest for HTC one on verizon shoot them my way.
ones that dont work are Android revolution HD wont boot at all, until i flash the ElementalX Kernel, then it flashes but i dont get any data what so ever. During instalation on it international version which may be the issue. And ViperOne wont boot at all, just boot loops.
CM11, Slimkat, and Liquid smooth wont even flash. Ive redownloaded each rom several times and MD5 has matched
Before every flash i wipe data, then flash 2.10.605.1 firmware, then the rom, then i boot. ANy idea why they wont work?
First off. Stop flashing kernels/firmware left right and centre just because a rom/roms won't boot up.. that's a sure way to get into a mess..
What RUU was your phone originally shipped with. Have you changed your cid/mid. If so what was your original cid/mid.
What TWRP Version are you running..
Did you make a backup of your original system
What kernel are you on at this moment.
Post a fastboot getvar all and a screenshot of your bootloader.

[Q] Android 4.3.0 AGNi pureSTOCK v3.8 NA2+

Hi guys,
I have just started playing with my GSG3 lte after upgrading from a SGS1 that I rooted and put a cg7 rom on it. That was many years ago and I am just relearning how to get along with it all again.
I have managed to get CWM on it (and to stay there!!!) and have superSU on as well. I am trying to flash this kernel mentioned in the title but every time it does not stick. The old kernel remains.
I have tried clearing the cache and that dilyic cashe (or what ever it is) then flashing but to no avail. I have read the entire thread but came across nothing that helps. Do you guys have any info or ideas I can try? The phone is running the stock rom.
Here is the thread for the kernel i am trying to flash.
Android 4.3.0 AGNi pureSTOCK v3.8 NA2+
Flashing by getting into CWM, choosing the clear cache options and then flashing from the sd card.
Thanks for any help you guys may have!
Spaz.
What is your ROM base? I had the same problem until I flashed a ROM with an NA2 or greater base, then it worked fine. My suggestion, is to use Amcha's ROM.

I've been running the kernel along with xxueml9 firmware, so no <NA2 fw neccessary.
do you have latest CWM? as there are numerous posts about problems while flashing new roms/files using old recoveries
in case of problems with that I'd advise using skipsoft utility and let it find the newest compatible recovery image and let you guide through the flashing process
Ok, looks like i am running the xxuena2 rom???? It is the standard software that came with the phone. CWM version is v5.5.0.4 : CF- v1.5
It was sorted out by updating the CWM to latest version.
Thanks guys for the replys and help.

Back your apps, music etc. up, and do a clean flash, that should work.
