When i record video's and there's some bass around, the sound gets really distorted.
So my question:
Is there a way to change this volume? With an option or maybe with a mod?
Thanks!

You can try Meltus's audio mod, but I haven't heard of anybody's elses volume being affected by rooting.

Has anyone found a decent solution for the low volume issue when using a headset on mt3g? I've tried all the meltus audio files but the sound ends up way too distorted. Its loud but it sounds like ****. The DSPManager on CM6r3 helps slightly but not enough. All I want is louder max volume when using a headset.

I am using Chromers 4.4 rom with Meltus audio files v2r2 and "headset boost +in call volume 1". I turned off the DSP thing. It made it all distorted.
I hope this helps, I know you said you tried the files.
I don't know if it's ROM related or not but I don't remember having this problem previously. I'll give the settings you mentioned a try though.

Any setting for the DSPManager for G1
I did some quick filming at home party with my friends and the sound recorded sounds all blown out and distorted. Is there a mic volume option or some sort of gate or filter to avoid distortion and allow for proper sound recording?
HTC Phone have HD2 Mic Control app. But Galaxy Note can not use that app
Hi,
Don't know if this is usual but sound in videos get distorted when recording loud sounds. It sounds like wind noise when it gets loud.
