[Q] Time & Date Reset Xperia T - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hello ,
I had an Xperia T which was working perfectly fine on Xperiment 3.5 Rom
A week ago i changed to the Carbon Rom KK Unofficial ( the latest one ) and experienced time & date reset after rebooting my Xperia T
The reset happenned every reboot which was really annoying but was still not that much of a problem , but yesterday i programmed an alarm and it didn't ring so i tried the alarm by scheduling it to ring after 3minutes and the result was the same , no alarm ringing but the notification of the alarm appeared ( imminent alarm ) , i tried to install an app to schedule alarms but still the same issue
I thought that maybe the problem was from the Carbon Rom so i installed the ParanoidAndroid 4.2 [Beta2] but there was still the same problem
Now i don't know what has caused this problem or if anyone ever had this
Also i'm on manual mode ( in the clock settings )
Thanks for your help

I have a problem...or two. :(

First of all : incoming calls are lagged:when someone calls me it takes time for the xperia to ring or to display anything. The delay is aprox. 1-2 seconds, but it`s frustraiting.
Second : I have flashed x1 with Mustang Rom no manila touch flow or whatever it`s called.I often get a don`t send message about panel manager,so if the x panel button is presed the phone freezes, and i got another don`t send error about anouther thing(can`t remeber ) both are .exe.
Hope i get some help.Thank in advance
Peace
1st - Kinda normal for WinMo, but a custom ROM might be the cause sometimes. Especially if you use a third party (PhonEx etc.) phone manager.
2nd - Flash another ROM .
I was wondering what if i`ll flash a new radio. Will it be any difference ?
Yes i have flashed almost all the custom roms without manila tochflow 3d and other things. This one , the mustang , i thought it was the best...2 bad.i have flashed a stock r3 rom now.i am going to test it to see what`s up with it.The camera is missing the auto flash and zoom functions normaly.
Peace and thank you.
Flashing an official ROM would solve problem number two.
yes in deed it has.
thanks

[ROM][MOD] MIUI 2.2.3-GB-FB0 (Android 2.3.7) with Modified Black ICE Themed

While I'm waiting for the ICS MIUI release by TJ_Style or someone else,
I played around with GB MIUI 2.2.3... And this is an answer for they who asked me to post my modified MIUI. Finally I got bandwidth to upload it
I am not an android developer, my knowledge is very limited, I just tried to make my android phone more comfortable for me. By posting this, hope you like it either.
It seems everything works just like MIUI 1.11.11, I just add some features on 2.2.3. And for GPS... It can locked in seconds.
Here's what I've added:
- SpeedDeemon Kernel v5.0
- Ads blocker hosts included
- ICS Lockscreen
- ICS themed keyboard
- ICS open/close window effect
- Modified theme based on Black Ice theme as default
- MIUIv4 theme (an option if you're not comfortable with dark theme)
- My Google splash screen
- 4 Way boot
- Spareparts tools
- Compass
- google maps streetview
- CM7 camera beside MIUI camera
- Angry GPS
- SD card tweak ( to make read sdcard faster )
- Sony Bravia Engine
- Some additional sounds
- etc...
Removed:
- MIUI talk
- MIUI status
For haptic feedback, you've to set manually.
Search button => Menu => Search settings => tick ON for Settings and go back to Search then type "Tweak", open "Haptic feedback tweaks" and do the setting in "Set Down Patern" only.
Credits:
MIUI credit goes to MIUI devs
SDKernel credit goes to Austrie
BlackIce theme credit goes to cgvelmax
Icons credit goes to foreverone
other modules & libraries goes to TJ_Style & Issac87
And others (Sorry I forgot)...
You can get it at here and flash it using CWM.
Apply update-patch-miui-2.2.3-CKr1u1.zip file attached to solve alarm setting issue and change audio library.
Attached DSP Manager if you need it.
For MIUI Extended Settings mod, you can flash this update and follow by installing this MIUISettings application. Thanks to Free Radical for the file.
Native Wifi tether still not working. You can use this Wireless Tether from Market as I always use it even native wifi is working , just suggestion.
Applying directly from RC3 and Sharp rom will not work. You have to apply it from other rom (RC1, RC2, other stock, CM7 and other MIUI will work).
Wipe data right after flash is a strong suggestion, so the rom will has the fresh space to work and won't find the weird things that isn't has to be.
* After get the first boot, wait until the system settled and then reboot again. The second boot actually is the first fresh boot!
I am not responsible for any damages (bricking/phone ruining) occurred while flashing or using this ROM. By using this ROM, you understand that I am not liable for any or all consequences of using this ROM. If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T TRY IT.
Upgrade/Downgrade tips for MIUI users:
* Always make backup, here is the options:
- Nandroid backup (This is the best options, but takes time and large sdcard space)
- MIUI BackUp + Titanium backup
With MIUI BackUp you can backup all your settings of your MIUI, including messages, Settings,
dektop layout, call logs, Contacts and else, but I suggest you not to backup Contacts (Just do online
synchronize to google) you will get double contacts when restored and get synchronize automatically,
pick one you like. You can backup apps with MIUI Backup but Titanium Backup much better.
Prefer not to backup Theme Setting for integrated MIUI Theme, except you use the exported one in
your SD card.
* You can do it without wipe data, but the suggestion to do so.
* Do wipe cache for sure
* If you do wipe data, reboot twice right after flashed, at the first boot the miui will do
a lot works to make it settle, the second boot will be the first fresh boot after all.
* If you used MIUI backup to backup MIUI Settings and you will restore it, do restoring applications
at first followed by restoring Miui settings. And DO NOT backup and restore Wifi Settings, it will make
boot loop.
* As like other roms, battery calibration is something you should do right after flashed a new rom. Here is the simple step to do it:
After your battery very low (as low as you can ), charge it until really full (about 4.2 V) without
interrupted then wipe your battery status at CWM, and use it until the battery drained and again
charge it until really full without interrupted.
Nice one Cal ..... will give it a try

Native Wifi Tether worked perfectly for me on MIUI11111+your update. Will revert post flashing this ver.
Update - There seems to be some problem in this ver for Native WIFI Tether, On Switching ON, it displays "turning on' for a long time, then there is no confirmation if it has turned on or not, no orange WIFI ICON displaying tether is on, however my laptop is able to detect ANDROIDAP but connects with limited access ???? Was not able to browse through in any case.
This was working perfectly on the earlier MIUI+your update.
Overall good effort, nice to have the Spare Parts option like in CM. I have been on MIUI for a long time now and it has become my daily use ROM. Any updates will be most definitely be welcome !
Update 2 - Cac, There seems to be some issue with WIFI (not sure if it is due to issues at my end, checking thoroughly in any case) . Displays WIFI MAC as unavailable on checking in Status
everytime i try to enter clock and edit alarm, the phone will enter reboot looped
The improve is bluretooth and the framerate of video recording

Yes for me you are correct, I am also having incoming call volume issue(let's call it ICVI for short). But I have had ICVI ever since i bought the device and moved to MIUI. None of the MIUI builds or fixes including tasker have helped this. So I am living with it.

Music not playing through headphones
Hi,
I use Samsung Galaxy Ace, and I recently rooted it and installed PAC-Rom 22.0.0 with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Everything works terrificly fine, except from that, so I'd like to avoid having to change a rom.
In Poweramp, when I have "pause on headset disconnection" enabled, when I pull out the headphones, the music plays for a flash second through the front speaker (the one for calls, not the rear one). Furthermore, which is a bigger issue, when headphones are plugged in again, and the music turned on, it plays through this very front speaker (not through headphones at all).
I searched help from Poweramp crew, and they blame it on the rom, since when I come back to my previous one (stock) the problem disappears.
Please help.
Best wishes,
aaykro

Well.. i can say there is no bug at all for me esspecially if you don't add too many apps (100+) or any big data and big RAM consuming apps and this is the best PAC ever. I have some random boot and hang and it is because i was too perfectionist. I add so many big apps and so many customization apps that consume too many RAM and resources on my phone.. I forced my phone to be as powerful as high-end phone. I get it, but no gain no pain.. the consequence is my phone more laggy, more random reboot and i realize that my phone have limitation.. it still don't have enough power too run all my stuff apps at the same time, cause it is only have powerfull software but still the same hardware..
don't force it too much if you want the best ..
If you want the real powerful device, buy the real expensive high-end device..
Remember that your device is have limitation however you maximize and optimize it, it still have a "LIMIT"
That's my advices based on my experiences..
some little bug but no problem to me like
weird screen when there's incoming call,
some notification sound delay,
dialer pad is a little bit hard ( delayed press )
some freeze laggy screen when incoming notification (just wait a moment till notification ticker is done and everything is normal again)
laggy browser ( wait till loading page done and everything is fine). Be patience please , if not it will reboot cause out of resources. Or you can just use any other light browser.
turn on bluetooth makes it laggy and heavy sometimes,so close any heavy apps before using bluetooth.
Trust me,,you will love this rom if you know how to use it,, it has a lot of features you don't get on any other custom ROM..

Alarm clock problem

Hey there,
i have installed this Rom : [CM][4.2.2]Unofficial LiquidSmooth-JB-v2.3.1 [Build 2] -- kernel 3.0
After testing eveything is fine & smooth, except the Alarm clock. When the Alarm starts, Display Does´nt Wake Up, Alarm Sound plays and the phone freeze so i had to make a Hardreset.
The Alarm works well if Display is not Locked, then i set a new alarm a few minutes later so the Display is locked and the Alarm works well to. Then i reboot the Phone, set an alarm, the display goes in Lock......Alarm start few minutes later and freeze.
i hope sombody can help me with this Prob.
Sorry for my English

Hi ice1974,
did you see that there is a new version out (Build 4)? Maybe they fixed it?

Don't use the stable!! Use the latest nightly, always! The ROM as fixes that only work properly with the most recent kernels. Flash KK 124 and pay attention to Kowalski Kernel thread because we'll have KK 125 soon. Hope it helped.

when I pressed the power button the alarm clock icon was on status bar and disapeared right that instance

I choose a mp3 file with handcent...could it have something to do with this??
or maybe it has something to do with deep sleep...or something
well...installed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1969617
