Simple question guys, i need new battery but the original one for NFC model is like 50% more expensive. Whats the makes that huge price difference? Thanks
Sent from my ZTE Blade using XDA Free mobile app
it is the model name that makes the huge price i think. you can use it at the other model too i think
NFC antenna is inside the battery.
Original i8190 battery got three connectors while the i8190N battery got four.
It will work but without NFC functionality.

It looks legitimate, might just be from a similar model phone or maybe they all vary (my battery has a bit of a crook in the right side)
on mine original battery the QR code is big. as on your new battery. so it may be original

Legit
Think it's real. As long it doesnt feel chinese
thank you guys =)
I've seen fake ones that say "SVMSUNG" and look the same, but yours looks original, how much was it? if it was less than $10 I don't think it's original D:
It depends on where you bought it from..
It's real.
I bought a similar one, which also had a bigger qr code compared to the old one.

AW: Is my battery original or fake?
Original but right battery is earlyer manufactured you can see it on date and serial nr. So its the old layout on the right battery left has new layout.

Hello
As the title suggests, I need advice on the best replacement battery for Samsung Galaxy S i9000. The original 1500mAh for the phone lasts 3-4 hours or a tad bit over at best with continued use on my phone that was rooted to Cyanogen mod along with ThinkingBridge installed just recently. I don't even play games on the phone so it's a bit annoying to see it give up so soon with browsing only.
I was wishing this phone could somehow last about as long as Samsung Galaxy Note does with its 2500mAh but perhaps I am being too wishful. Nevertheless, I would fancy maximum possible increase in its battery life as long as it is significant and actually worth my money.
Having said that, I would welcome advice on the matter preferably from people who actually own or have owned the phone and know of such reliable batteries and the kind of performances they have delivered. I'd also appreciate if somebody could tell exactly how many hours a new replacement battery would add. I doubt that any of the legit ones will be available here in Pakistan so I ll probably be ordering it from the US (Amazon or eBay).
Thanks in advance.

you can increase battery performance by management with greenify , and xprivacy as well as these
Check this out! You , YES! you are an " Android ". Not your phone but U.
Have you looked in the Accesories part of the Galaxy S forums?
For most people, an extended battery (1800mAh in most cases) and kernel and performance tweaking gets them the best battery life possible...

Thanks for getting back to me on the matter but the thing is that there's a mention of so many different battery brands including anker and polar cell and mugen and oem that it gets confusing for me to pick the best. As a result, I was looking for advice on which one actually works best with this phone and gives maximum possible battery time with uninterrupted wifi activity. I'd also be interested in knowing how many hours it would actually add.

I'll check it out, thanks. Hoping for more advice on the best replacement battery that would add to the browsing hours significantly, still.
How about this one instead of battery extenders that would make the phone look ugly and bulky: http://www.amazon.co.uk/cellePhone-...152VU/dp/B004IJ9M6W/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top? Anyone had any experience with one of these?
Let me know if I am correct to assume that Polar Cell 1800mAh is better than Anker 1800mAh.

Yes, he's sure. With the current technologies it is impossible to fit more mAh's into the same size without compromising the quality of materials used. This may mean the first few charges a 'bigger' battery may be more effective, but it will decay so fast, that it definitely won't be worth your money. If you want to extend your battery life, you will either need an extended battery double the size or you'll just need to carry a spare one with you.

Hi
I've got this one for quite some time now (about a month) and I've got to admit, it defiantly increase the battery life compared to the stock battery that we're given. With this one, I've got about 2 hours more than the last one and I'm pretty happy with it, since I have both this one and the old one as a spare now.

Hi everyone.
I know it is very silly question but i am very confused.
I bought a S3 with 2GB RAM and LTE. I am not sure that it is i9305 or SHV210s.
SHV210s variant has an antenna but my cell does not have it, so i thought it is i9305 but when i go to download mode (using volume down+home+power keys) it shows its model as SHV210s.
how can i be sure about my cell's variant because i want to install custom ROM on it???
See your identical post .
You say you flashed SHV210 so of course it says that.
You should go back to the retailer and find what you bought .
My guess based on your reply in your identical post .
You have an I9300 but f5555555 it up by flashing the wrong firmware .

I think some one fooled you. Sorry. I9300 dont come with LTE i think.
So you have probably destroyed your phone.
Skickat från min GT-I9305 via Tapatalk
i9300 doesn't have 2gb ram and lte. Maybe the seller of that phone fooled you or maybe it's a clone.
On eBay i can't find any "N920C" displays. Only for the other models.
Or does N920 mean N920C? Anyone knows which one to buy?
no one?
I feel manufacturers should be at the point where all variants of the same phone use the same screen and motherboard (other than the physical color of the bezel and carrier branding)
I want to replace my N920A screen and digitiser as well, but can't seem to find one specifically for my model. I see those labelled for the international models.
I think the screens are alle the same and compatible because the part number always seems to be GH97-17755B (last digit for the color).
Thanks. That's exactly what I wanted to hear.
When I change my screen, I'll get the 3800 mAH battery at the same time
Did you try the 3800mah battery in between? =)

No. I haven't bought the screen or the battery as yet. I feel such a battery doesn't exist (or is a fake in terms of capacity).
