[Q] HTC Reboot Loop+White Screen :l - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This is my very first post because I am desperate enough to make an account and come ask for help so if you would please help! Ill try to be as thorough as I can.
I have an AT&T HTC One M7 and This morning I was running software version 4.1.2 I believe? *Just bought this phone from someone yesterday*
and today I also decided to download the update, since people have been saying its amazing. Before downloading the update, my phone worked perfectly, nothing wrong with it.
After the download completed, the phone just kept going on a reboot loop. Earlier in the day, when it would load, it would load to the main lock screen, where you can slide to unlock, but as the day went on, it just skipped to the HTC white screen without showing the default lock screen. If i press the power button quickly the default lock screen will light up only for a second and quickly revert back to the white HTC screen. And on top of that, its hard trying to get anything done when the phone is rebooting every 2 minutes.
Any advice? Im new to this all but have been researching all day, I unlocked my bootloader thus far with HTCdev using Hasoon All-In-One kit.
Please help?

Power it on into the bootloader and give people the details on what is listed. I probably won't be back to help, so this is a bump and what others will ask for.
Sent from my One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

well im sure people know the options on bootloader, ive tried factory resetting the phone already, ive tried clearing the cache multiple times as well

bump** sorry if im not allowed to post this, new to the site :S just kinda desperate for some help, been browsing these forums for a while today now

Can you post a fastboot getvar

Without more info, tough to say.
Likely you accidentally flashed the international setup as opposed to Sprint. If so, you need to RUU back to pure stock and start over.
ok i just tried that and half way through i got a error[131] customer id error
please get the correct rom update utility and try again

[Q] Back to stock from CM11

I have CM11 installed on my HTC One M7 and I used the installer to put it on. Because I did not do it manually I have no idea how to revert back to sense. I have had a look at some of the guides but they don't mention much to do with my version which is with o2 in the UK. I opened the bootloader and it said that it's S-on and the hboot is 1.56.0000. It also says TAMPERED and UNLOCKED. I need to move it back to stock because some banking apps do not work on a rooted device and I also want to get it sim unlocked.
Can someone point me in the right direction to the appropriate guide or tell me what I need to be searching to figure out what to do.
Thanks,
Tom

you are not on O2 rom, you are on WWE (world wide English) 4.19.401.9, just flash this RUU, also check for updates before you flash anything else after running this RUU, as you missing about 5 or 6 important updates, you are on 4xxxxxx software, the rest of us are on 7xxxxxxx
RUU is here: http://androidruu.com/getdownload.p...10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1.exe
OK thanks, I'll give it a go and report back.
Everything has been working fine for a while now so thanks for the help.

Guys I need your help
My phone wont start-up because its stuck in a boot-loop.
I can go into bootloader just fine but cant seem to be able to access recovery though I have flashed the correct custom recovery for this phone. When trying to enter recovery mode it hangs first and after a minute or so it restarts itself. also it has a red message at the bottom "This build is for development purposes only... ***"
The phone came with jellybean 4.2.2 and i wanted to upgrade to lollipop because the phone had been infected with a malware

Here, catch - working TWRP
Not all recoveries are working for this phone, even if it is stated otherwise. This one is working and I currently have it.
I hope it will boot with this image, nevertheless let me know the result.

Your S-ON so you need to flash an 7.18.161.x ruu. The problem is your version-main is 7.18.161.30. In the ruu colletion there is only a 7.18.161.21.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/lollipop-ruu-zip-small-collection-t3053944
You will need to change the version-main to flash a lower version ruu. Scroll to the very bottom of the ruu collection link above and read the section about "How to downgrade with S-ON"

I fixed it in the end. I got annoyed trying to use a ruu so I used a Google play edition ROM. I prefer the GPE room.

HTC Desire 510 stuck in Boot Loop after water drop...

Hello
As you can see, I'm a newbie...
My son dropped his phone in water ...we bagged it and followed all the steps to dry it out as best we could...
Now, when powered on, it just cycles through the startup to the HTC logo, continuously, which I believe is called "boot Loop". I've gone through a bunch of videos and tutorials on what do do in that case, as well as searched here, and none seem to really work. From what I can see, even to root it requires that it be in Developer mode, but since I cannot even get it to bot up, I can't get it into it..
I can get it into the menus by holding power and volume down though...
Question is, is this phone garbage or is there any hope? If there's hope, I'd really appreciate it..
Thanks
OK, been reading and trying things for hours..
I can get to the bootloader screen, and its stable BUT:
Its says LOCKED in pink..
Recovery option just takes me into the boot loop again..
Factory reset, same thing..
I can get Fastboot USB to come up, but not sure what to do after that. The phone was stock, unmodified..
Somewhere else I read to post this info as it was helpful...
