Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and new to wm smartphones as well.
I have an Alltel Touch Diamond which was given to me and I recently activated it on PagePlus. Voice and text work fine but I cannot get the data to work. Do I need to flash this phone to full Verizon firmware or is it likely a setting that is wrong on the phone? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I have the exact same problem
Voice and text are both working - however, I'd love to get the data going (and GPS if at all possible). Thanks in advance for any assistance...
what apn are you useing?
HTC Touch Pro on Page Plus
I have the same problem as well.
The only solution I have found is to have the phone "flashed" and the internet will work.
One company that shows up everywhere online is http://winscommunications.com/
I did speak with a guy there and he said he would charge $25 to "flash" my HTC Touch Pro so I would have internet access as well. You pay to ship it to them and include a prepaid return shipping label as well.
I have unlocked and Jailbroke iPhones and others myself so I was hoping someone would have the links to the software used in the "flash" process.
Otherwise I guess I will have to give the $25 to these guys.
Anyone else have some help for me?
Can anyone shed some light on this and point some noobs in the right direction?
Ok I understand that these programs do it;
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Diamond_SIMUnlock
So I was gonna use OliNex's HTC Diamond Unlocker as its cheaper,
So I just put in my IMEI and pay and it sends me some software through e-mail right...
I was just wondering what the process is with this software, is it very easy to use? Like just sync the device and then run the program and then wait for it to complete or is it more complicated?
My phone is locked on T-Mobile and I'm wanting it on Orange as I have a few months left on my contract.
Any help would be appreciated, think Im gonna try and give it a go tonight as I cant right to play with the phone!
Just to let you's know I did it now and it worked fine...
Its just an exe file that you run and it has three processes that are all easy to follow onscreen!
Even a newby like me did it
Hey I just got the Atrix HD today coming from Sprint. The phone feels very good. I'm having a problem trying to figure out how to get this phone working with QPST, I'm familiar with the Sprint dialer codes, but I don't take it they are the same for AT&T. I did a few searched with no luck. Anyone have any idea to push me in the right direction?
Thanks.

I'm not familiar with QPST but take a look at this for an app that puts us in the *#*#INFO*#*# menu.
Thanks for the reply, that's not necessarily what I was looking for, but I am sure that'll come in handy.
I semi answered my own question. You have the put the phone in BP Tools mode for the drivers to install, but the problem with me is the diag mode drivers wont install for me I have no idea how to get it going so I just gave up. If anyone knows where I could get the drivers specifically for the Atrix HD diag mode it'd be greatly appreciated.
Hello Everyone,
I have a Droid Bionic with Android Version 4.1.2 I am a noob at this and I am really sorry if my issues have already been posted. I have been looking for my issues for hours. But I haven't been able to find a noob or unlocking for dummies version.
*My PC Mode is missing and I don't have it to make RadioComm work properly and read and write.
*I am trying to get my Verizon Droid to work on Straight Talk. I am having issues with doing so because I cant get RadioComm to work properly. All codes show up in red and when I hit read or write it is red and says error.
*I found something on YouTube that taught me about *#*#4636#*#* and going in and changing the phone so that the GSM option is on. Is that all I need to do or do I have to do the RadioComm thing as well?
I am running RadioComm on 64 bit windows when I run RadioComm I get error after error talking about the RadioComm version being a 32 bit program. I don't know if all of my issues are because of me having a 62 bit system.
Please help me and let me know what I need to do to get straight talk to work on my Droid Bionic. And again I am sorry if all these questions have been posted on here already. Thank you

I am looking to do the same thing. I bought a damaged broid bionic where I work and repaired it back to working status and I want to us it on Straight Talk as well. I am new to unlocking phones or making them able to use on other networks so I am in need of help. I have done a factory reset of the phone and there is no sim card as of yet but I can get one through Straight Talk but it will have to be for an AT&T phone but this one is from Verizon. Some one out there has to know what needs to be done so I can use it. I have searched Google for 2 days and I am not finding anything that will help me.
Hello,
I had recently upgraded a Lumia 928 to 8.1, but was having issues with exchange email. I wanted to reflash the ROM on it (like I have done a hundred times)... but this time the app crashed and it happened early on. The phone is no longer responding to anything I do. I have tried soft resets, hard resets, etc with no luck... it seems toast. I am guessing the bootloader is hosed, is there any way for me to fix this... could a shop fix this?
One other thing to note... when I plug it into a PC I see the QHSUSB_DLOAD device with no detected driver
Thanks in advance
Andy
A Verizon Repair Center might be able to fix it. They'll most likely just give you a refurbished one though. We don't have QUALCOMM roms for any windows phones....

thanks for the reply, I looked it up on the nokia site it is still under warranty, so it is headed back to Nokia now. Figure they will be able to take care of it better then any Verizon store would be able to.
