Hey guys! About a week ago, I bought a Samsung Galaxy s III 19305 from an e-bay seller. Everything goes fine so far. Despite I hate the Korean applications which I cannot delete, I can live with just disabling them. However, I wonder if anyone knows a way to remove the Korean dial pad. I search a lot in the forum, but I couldn't find anything about this issue. Is there any way for that? Is a root necessary? And If it is, what I have to do next? Thanks in advance
You have to flash some rom.

Hi guys, i'm a newbie. Just bought a xda mini and trying to use chinese for message input. anybody have any crack, keygen, or serial. Can you kindly share?
Obviously, you are asking for the wrong stuff at a wrong place. Get the trials, if you like it, buy it. Afterall, they are not that expensive. Most of them are cheaper then what you paid for a copied-CD in your area.
I just flash i897 from i9000 rom to Cognitionv2.3b6.
now the situation just like this.

Doesn't it really work with the JIG?
If it doesn't work, I would not try.
If I just give the phone back to the ATT to fix it or change another one, how much should I pay?
thanks.
I know I am not good at the english.
But I got the same problem like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=848743
I found if I buy a new one on the amazon, it will cost me 80$. So if I need money to fix it I would buy a new one.
This is my first year in USA, so please give me some help.
Thanks.
First sorry if this has been discussed before, I've done my best reading though the forum and searching but couldn't find a clear answer.
I'll be sending my Bell Vibrant i9000m for repair for a 2nd time in very little time and I am totally fed up.
I am eligible for a hardware upgrade with Rogers (used the Vibrant unlocked) and was wondering if ROger's Captivate was free from major issues contrarely to the Bell Vibrant ? Are AT&T and especially modded ROMs compatible for it or do I risk running in the exact same scenario I am currently in ?
THanks a lot
Hey,
I m on the same boat as you.
Except I brought my Bell Vibrant privately without a receipt.
And tried to get Samsung or Bell to replace, but no budge )=
I couldnt find a decent phone that have a big enought screen and such for a decent price.
So I found myself a Captivate for a good deal, privately.
But the guy had receipt and it was brand new in box unopened.
So there no way Rogers or Samsung can reject it for warranty now.
For me, I like to run most thing stock.
Plus I like the looks of the Captivate more.
No more getting call using an iphone look alike.
I didnt do much reasearch yet on the Captivate, but by looking at the stickies, it seems like there wouldnt be much of a problem compare to the i9000m.
Other than the random shut down? But thats for AT&T? Not sure if is works with rogers.
Please correct me if I'm wrong !
I 'm hoping to hear some other anwser from long Captivate members too!
I want to know is there anyway to tell if the phone has been previously rooted? Also some suggestions on buying a used smartphone? Does anyone know of an app that will test the hardware? Thanks, I have a hard time letting go of my money.lol
Hi everyone, i'm just looking if there is a way for unlocking a s3 Mini from home. I have seen some sites like "http://samsunggeeks.us/" and I don't know if it works as it should. Is it too hard? Some stores in my city charge up to 50USD to unlock this phone but i guess is not that hard to do it by myself. What do I need? what should i Do?
