I use bluetooth headset and the quality is terrible poor.. I use the same bluetooth device with an old samsung windows mobile and is fine.
Is there any issue with bluetooth and our device or android system?
My handsfree in the car is also very quiet.

I am using Tytn II with Jabra BT8040. I was facing very tricky issue and that was whenever BT headset is connected to the phone, sound profiles on the phone kept on changing.
I have now established that this happens only when I have used both Wireless stereo and Handsfree profiles from my BT headt set. If I only use handsfree problem disappears.
Can some one help to understand whay this may be happening? how to resolve?
The 8040 is A2DP enabled. Basically, a mono stereo headset if that makes sense. Since it can stream music to the BT without using the BT Toggle app. Anyway...its because of your headset. Change it to default using Handsfree..not both.

I know what A2DP is and I guess Tytn II supports A2DP and hence the quesry in the first place. I bought BT8040 because TyTn II supports A2DP
I cannot even find the bluetooth headset on my diamond.
My bluetooth headset is I-Tech Arrow Lite-R. Bluetooth specification is v2.0 + EDR class 2. It is not a stereo headset.
Why cannot it be found? The headset works well with my previous cell phone.
By the way, the moto S9 stereo headset can be found and connected with my diamond.
I wonder whether a non-stereo headset can be used with diamond.
I am trying to avoid re-pairing my bluetooth headsets when I switch them.
My original bluetooth setup includes a hands-free hook-up to my Prius, and a stereo BT headset (with mic). I have recently been trying different earpiece headsets for traveling.
I had no problem alternating with my stereo headset and my car, but when I try an earpiece it asks for a pairing code. When I pair with it it works fine, but when I switch back to the stereo headset I have to re-pair it.
It sounds like there is some limitation on how many BT devices the Captivate can remember?
FWIW I am running JH7 rooted.
Any thoughts on this?

I do this with a made in Taiewan, "non-name" headset and also a Motorola T505 speakerphone for the car.
I simply PAIR the device in the BT menu and if the device supports, it shows up as paired to handsfree and Media Audio in the BT menu.
I sometimes (rarely) have an issue when I switch devices where the BT menu will only pair in speakerphone mode and not MEDIA AUDIO mode. I just re-pair and everything is fine.
Not hard, has always works on my MS (stock 2.01, 2.1 and most ROMs I have tried (my fav is currently CM6).
