[Q]Sudden signal loss - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hi folks,
so recently I noticed that my p880 randomly loses signal wich only gets solved by restarting the phone.
Also it starts draining battery extremly fast. Like 2% in a minute.
I tried using different roms but in the end nothing changes in this regard.
What can I do? Did you guys encountered a similar problem?
Any advise is much aprechiated.
Thanks

Really? If you'd have followed or at least read a bit few the threads of the different
roms you tried than you'd probably noticed that this is a common and known
problem of our device. Neither is there a fix for it, nor is the cause of this problem
known. The signal just drops and the phone constantly tries to reaquire it (causing the battery drain)
but it seems that network recognition fails.
So whether you live with it (like I do) or you buy another phone,
as I wouldn't expect a fix for that soon.

[Q] Faulty hardware?

Hi everyone!
I''ve started to experience some rather annoying errors with my 1.5 year old phone just recently. My signal freezes completely when doing random tasks, it could be from just lying in my pocket to surfing the net. The 3G/H and the signal bars icon remains frozen even if I go and turn data off. When this happens, all apps immediately return "Connection error" of some sort, and when I change to WiFi the signal icons disappear and an spheric "stop" icon appears instead (probably indicating my signal error). However, my WiFi works perfectly. Only solution is to reboot the phone for the network to work again.
My second problem is with the battery. When I opened my phone I saw that it has began to swell a little in the middle. I also experience random shutdowns and ridiculously bad battery life. Can this be linked to problem 1 too?
As I live in Sweden, it's rather complicated finding an replacement battery seeing as it's extremely overpriced. Does anyone know where you buy either stock Samsung batteries or higher capacity ones (1750'ish) for a decent price?
Currently running:
Mandana 7.0 JW8, Semaphore 2.7.4sc (the problems are not related to the rom though, I've tried multiple roms)
Cheers!

yup, battery may need to be changed and only after that, you should try to resolve other problems, if any.
try ebay or goggling will get you tons of suppliers for batteries

Low Battery Lifetime with CM-10.2.0 (suspend_backoff bug), FIX?

Hy, I am using CM-10.2.0 since a few months on my Sony Xperia T without big problems. The phone is not famous for it's battery lifetime, but enought for me.
Recently, the battery lifetime is abruptly decreased to lesser as 12 hours, and I found out that the suspend_backoff bug is presumably blame. But I found no fixes, so I hope anyone of you can help me.
I have no apps from google on my phone (chrome,playstore,...), and I cannot find any direct connection with my installed apps, because the bug first appear a few days after my last installation, and was getting worse.
thx, pointhi

The TX also has that problem on custom ROMs, and so far I don't know of a fix for that; there are even less devs for the TX, and most, if not all custom ROMs use the kernel that comes with the FXP ROMs, which is the culprit, at least in the TX's case.

N920T Random restart

Hi, im experiencing a really really weird problem with my note 5 since like 8 months but now is happening more often, the problem is that it restarts randomly sometimes like 1 time a day, it happens a lot more when battery is below 40% and while charging so i thought that maybe the battery was the problem but it doesnt drain fast and the problem dissapeared like 1 month but started happening again now more strong restarting like 20 times a day and i dont know what to do, maybe someone experienced the same and can help me?
I already tried flashing stock 6.0 and 7.0 with pit file a lot of times also and with custom roms and always the same problem with every rom.
Thanks!
Replace battery. If problem persists discard phone.

Random shut down and no boot after

Hi guys...Here's my problem. It may be a coincidence but after I updated to 8.7.5 my phone now randomly shuts down , I think, when it tries to go to deep sleep, and I cannot make it boot up unless I disconnect the battery. I can use it the whole day without any issues but if I leave for an hour without touching it will shutdown and will not boot up again. After disconnecting the battery and booting up again I researched the battery use and it seems that prior to shutting down there is a huge battery leak as the phone loses 20% of the battery in a matter of minutes with the screen off and afterwards shutdown. I tried different ROMs now and still nothing ..went back to stock and still the same. I'm suspecting now that it might be hardware related but why am I able to use the phone without problems and the issue comes up only after a prolonged time of being idle. I'm tech savvy and like to try all kind of solutions but now I'm at a dead end....don't know what else to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Try firmware MIUI_8524 as I think this one is really stable. Cross checking via Kernel Adiutor (ROOT) might be a good idea for your case . You could prevent phone going into deep sleep to check if there is still an issue.

Weird Battery Behavior

I received my Xiaomi Mi 9 yesterday and after setting everything up I started to notice a fast battery drain, even when the screen is off, which I found to be quite weird for this phone.
When I restarted the device however, my battery percentage was back up again. It somehow went from being at 15% to being back at 73% after the reboot!
I am very confused about this, and I have no clue what could be causing this.
So far I've tried to do a factory reset, which didn't seem to help however. I've turned off WiFi, GPS, Sync and I pulled out my SIM Card and left it sitting, screen off, with occasional checks, but still the same drain.
What's even weirder about this is that the drain seems to be constant. I included a screenshot of the battery history graph, where it is visible that the battery "drains" at the same exact speed every time. Every time you see a spike upwards, that is me rebooting the phone. You can also see that WiFi (and also GPS and SIM Card) was turned off at some point, but that didn't affect the drain at all.
The phone isn't running hot or anything either, it's literally doing nothing, just sitting there draining.
I've let it drain down to 0%, at which point it just turned off. I could immediately start it again and it was back at 66%.
MIUI's battery analyzer thingy does also not have any recommendations as to what to do, except "turn on battery saver", which it says only gains 8 minutes.
I'm running the latest update that I could get through the updater in the settings (MIUI Global 10.2.17.0).
I'm really at a loss here as to how to fix this, or even pinpoint what could be causing this. I would've blamed I faulty battery in my unit, but it kind of seems to be more of a software issue? I really don't know.
It seems that a hardware fault (BSI) rather than a software issue
Cause no one report such a problem with this phone
Do you have any idea which part of the hardware could be causing this?
I said bsi or battery
But refer to warranty for replacement
