[Q] razr i problems - fastboot menu

Hi guys, I am having an issue i cant seem to resolve on my razr i. apologies if this has already been covered in another thread (or 10, which is usually the way with these things because nobody reads the other threads) I have been through a load of other threads but cannot seem to resolve my issue so i started my own.
Right, I have switched from iphone to razr and am not stupid when it comes to jailbreaking etc so thought rooting the razr wouldnt be a problem. when trying to root it it failed and i am stuck at the fastboot menu, however, everything on the menu is disabled so i cant use it. i get the usual message:
fastboot reason: flash failure
fastboot max download size: 100mb
usb connected
if i try to use anything on the menu i get the following message:
fastboot menu disabled.
my phone is not unlocked and not rooted. i have barely done anything to it other than install a couple of free apps. i am unable to progress past this screen. the phone is GB and is on 4.0.4
any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated. again, apologies if this has already been covered, none of the solutions i found were able to resolve my issue. as i said, i had no problems jailbreaking my old iphone, i am a bit of a n00b when it comes to droids...

Are you able to run fastboot commands ? Cause in that case you might be able To unlock bootloader and reflash the software .

I am not able to do anything. if i scroll to any of the options on the menu as soon as i hit the volume up key it just returns a message advising the fastboot menu is disabled.
**edit

Had the same problem, I used the recommendation in this thread, 5th post and it worked, but afterwards need to re-download apps from PlayStore:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36612151
Follow the instructions exactly - you need the drivers and RSD lite on Windows PC, then connect the phone via usb cable that came with it; and you'll need a full unzip program (cost) so you can move the unzipped files into RSD lite. Get the right flash file though - there's a list in the linked post if you don't want GB retail which I used. Important: this only works for ICS 4.0.4 and don't try to downgrade to an earlier version than what's currently on your phone e.g. v.39 to v.31, for example.
Good luck.

If the solution from mervluk does not work (It didn't work for me either) , you should try if you are able to use the fast boot commands .
To do that simply connect your phone to the PC. Then download fast boot , if you do not already have that. It is in the .zip from the RAZR I root thread.
The go to the downloaded folder. There hold shift and perform a right mouse click. Then choose" start a command prompt here "or something similar (don't know how the option is called in English).
Then type in
fastboot reboot
When the phone reboots you might be able to unlock your phone and flash the software.
BUT BE AWARE! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR WARRANTY!!
So you better try the other solution first. This should be your last option.
If you don't know how to unlock the bootloader look in the RAZR I forum or pn me .

Glad about that. This phone can be a bit of a so-and-so. ics is being updated ota to Jelly Bean 4.1.2, which I've avoided so far to keep fm (although not activated on the supplied software). I did succeed with unlocking the bootloader (loose warranty - important) following the whole complicated procedure on Moto's website - but couldn't myself use the shortcuts on here. (Then had to set up again and re-download everything from the PlayStore). It required the Moto-supplied key. I then rooted, though I think the JB ota download unroots again? You can't use RSD lite with JB.
With JB the procedures are different, and a modified JB European (not for use with GB) firmware is now available on another thread which is impressing some posters. But I think just be a bit cautious as there does not appear to be any fix for the "service code corrupt" bootloader error yet. Looks like the options are very restricted whilst no-one understand the interaction between Google Android and the intel atom chipset.
I have a network unlock key from one of the commercial suppliers (cellunlocker.net), but haven't needed to try and use it yet!

[SOLVED] Stuck at 'Download Mode !!!' While unlocking bootloader, Please Help

I have been trying to unlock my bootloader for about a week, and i have tried many things and many methods, none which have worked for me though.
Info (in chronological order of how i tried to get my bootloader unlocked):
Update through LG software to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, V20A (stock firmware and whatever)
Rooted my device (if this changes firmware then i have that firmware now)
attempted unlocking bootloader, and had no success....
Additional Info: Kernel 3.1.10-g0cf4eb
Build Number JZO54K
Baseband Version L6260_MODEM_SIC_02.1233.00
Software Version P88020a-234-000
Is a European model, and second hand and came from germany (live in UK)
I edited a picture to explain my problem, because i dont have any other camera than the one on my phone, which obviously i cant use whilest its like that.
This is where i get stuck when trying to unlock the bootloader. I accidentally unplugged the USB cable the one time after getting frustrated and saw that it actually started the 'next step?', Running Factory Reset For the first bootloader Unlock, please wait....
I plug the cable back in and waited overnight, and nothing happened, it stayed exactly the same. Ive tried every single USB port on my computer to no success. Please help!
Kindly edit your post with the solution method so of anyone has such a problem they can find the answer.

Issues with BLU Win HD W510L

My Win HD stopped working after a botch from the insider app. It goes into a reboot cycle. Whenever I try to ask Microsoft for advice or info on my phone being supported by the recovery tool, they stop responding. BLU tells me it's microsoft's problem. Sometimes they both tell me to contact the seller for help. The seller unfortunately is amazon, and they can't do anything. I need a new method since all three are refusing to help me. Is there any other way I can reflash my device since the recovery tool doesn't support my specific model? I already tried factory reset and that didn't do any good.

Hello
I'm not an expert about Asus Phones (I've got my own ZenFone Go just since 2 days), but i'm not sure then NVRAM.bin cause networks problems. This could be something like Baseband or Firmware. Have you searched if Asus released full firmware for your phone? (and also try to flash it from recovery, or your PC) This could generally solve some problems.

If ur phone is recognized, try fastboot and ADB command. Also, have you tried to unlock your bootloader? Because an locked boot loader brick your phone if he's not. (But you can recover this, by processing unlocking operation in fastboot/recovery)

Hello tambok,
Unfortunately AFAIK, NVRAM partition holds the data for all the radios(like the uniqu IMEI number for telephony radios, other stuff for Wifi and Bluetooth etc.), and it's unique for every device, so if you didn't back it up, sorry - your device has turned into a very expensive brick.
Should you manage to get it through repairs, warranty(who am I kidding, your warranty is void because of flashing it) or non-warranty, back up the NVRAM next time you format your device.
@tambok_15 bro you should be able to find your wifi, bluetooth, imei, etc code for you device on the box of that phone the day you purchased it. It should be written on one of the sides. (Screenshot below)(i erased mine)
After you find the device-specific code on the box, you can then flash it into your nvram via SN Write tool (just google it) just make sure to have the correct drivers as well. You can also find a tutorial on how to use sn write tool on the forum hovatek.
I am not 100% sure this will fix the phone entirely but it's worth a shot. Good luck.
Edit: If your problem is related to baseband i don't know about it maybe you can find a solution on google . . .

Stuck in Fastboot Flash Mode

Hello, I've spent at least 10 hours now trying to fix this and searching for solutions. I'm going to try to describe it as best I can.
The device is in bootloader mode and does not go beyond the moto logo with parity mode disabled. I've tried using the lenovo moto assistant to rescue it and it's only using the latest update, but it still doesn't boot up beyond the bootloader mode.
I've tried sideloading from adb inside recovery mode but I always get a driver issue
I don't know what else to do besides that.
Please help? Ask as many questions as you need.

Just an update everyone, I was able to partially fix the issue by using part of what this person posted here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z-play/how-to/guide-relock-bootloader-to-lasted-stock-t3718190
The device however now says it's loaded a different operating system, though it works
