Here's another handy little mod for people that might need/want native recording and block options.Just flash zip and go.Keep in mind that features.xml is edited by xposed frameworks. Xposed may over write the addition's. Keep zip on sd just in case. See pics for additions. All recordings go to sdcard/sounds.
good job

Hello. I'm new to the xperia z. I like the small apps feature but I would like to know if there's a mod or an xposed module to use any app as an small app. (if there is, can you post the link to it please) Thanks
So you want to use example Facebook or YouTube as a small app?
No chance
that's so sad.... Anyway thanks

Kind of buried in an audio mod thread was a tweak by D-Fuse to enable CinemaSound and other effects while in the Video player. I've edited my com.lge.videoplayer.xml as in post, but only get a grayed out tab with "Audio Effects-normal." I doubt the mod makes a huge difference in audio playback, but more options/customization are why we're here, right? So, if anyone has been able to get this to work or you want to try it for yourself, this is the post by D-Fuse here.
I've tried it as well and got the same results as u I thought I did something wrong

Also After Editing the file, Permissions cjanges to 664, Should i revert it back to 644..
Video and sound is working in both
Question what is a good alternative to add customizations to my ROM. I use to use exposed but don't think it works on the nexus6. If I am wrong about exposed working please let me know if there is a special way to install it.

exposed does not work on art, period. android 5.0 brings art to our devices, by default. whatever modifications you would like to make to your nexus 6 has to be a "real" modification that you can do to n6.
Well for starters I want to add the exchange block. Led notification and others. Is there a program like xposed with a repository of mods like xposed?

The LED mod can be added with a kernel along with DT2W, you can also use lightflow free to enable the LEDS using mixer mode to set notification lights e.c.t
Check the lighg flow instructions in its thread or one of the many how to guids online.

Hey team,
Can someone point me to a good thread, I've found 3,4 threads but looking for a good app, or an app where I can control what permissions apps get AND if there is an app that logs all the actions of your apps. I have the amex app and I sure as hell dont know why it needs certain permissions and I am curious to know when the app accesses my phonebook or so forth
Hope I made sense....
Thanks alot as usual.

Install Xposed, there are some modules to alleviate this issue.

You need this. It will work great for you. It does need root. It's what I've been using since Nexus 5.
The Name of the App is Apps Ops

+1 to this. App ops works great and is super lightweight.
I would stay away from using xposed as it causes external problems and it's better to just stick to lightweight alternatives.
