Ive tried all the keyboards on the market and have always used Z2 stock. Purchased the G3 to test drive and still like the Z2. But the keyboard I had to have. Installed in recovery and works great.

Frankly, The best KeyBoard still SwiftKey, Tried LG G3 keyboard and deleted as all features are available in SwiftKey, also SwiftKey have cloud backup can restore cross brand, so it will be very useful as we dont need to re-learn.
Not Nice
But, I hope to see the Xperia keyboard with number in the top like Galaxy and LG
I hope from the Developers to make or develop Xperia keyboard with number in the top like Galaxy and LG

Some how since backing up my phone and removing the bloatware, I've managed to delete the Android Keyboard.
Is there anyway to redownload this keyboard? I prefer it to the Samsung Keyboard hands down. Or perhaps there is another keyboard you would recommend that I can download via the Market or elsewhere?
Thank you
I like swiftkey...comes a close second to Swype for me.

The swiftkey beta is definitely worth a look. I prefer swype, personally.

So is there no way to get the Android Keyboard back? Even after I restore the backup prior to the bloatware removal, it always seems to disappear. Could I be deleting something causing it to go away?

I have it after removing the bloat?
So then what happened to my android keyboard?! =/
Just do an Odin restore, that should get it back on there
My favorite has got to be the DroidX multitouch keyboard.

Thanks SOOOO Much !!! SwiftKey is AMAZING! I used to like the stock android keyboard because it was fast, had good prediction, and was black so more batt efficient.
Swiftkey's prediction is just about two fold better than the stock android. The only things I would change is to add a D-pad when you hit the alt button, and making the keyboard more black to save on batt. (unlikely it will get optimized for SAMOLED screens though)
SlideIt keyboard best of all

I just purchased this today and after trying every other keyboard I can say this one meets all of my needs. Accurate, multi-touch, and good customization all in one.

I second this particular keyboard. I find myself using this on a regular basis.
I use Smart Keyboard Pro and I love it. Great prediction and just has a good feel. I haven't tried the Droid X keyboard yet, I'll try it out.
Swype is great, but my vote also goes to Smart Keyboard Pro. I've tried almost all of them, and this one is a keeper.
For me, it's really hard to choose.
I like the Samsung keyboard because of multitouch and I feel like I can type faster on it, but the autotext is a pain.
The Droid X keyboard is nice especially because of multitouch but it is really stupid when it comes to predicting text..
The stock android keyboard is okay, just no multitouch.
I'd say the Droid X keyboard wold be my pick. I usually use that.
-Just my two cents.
i, too, am loving the DroidX over Swiftkey
I actually love the default Samsung keyboard in 2.2, I just wish I could switch the Period (.) to the other side of the space bar as I tend to hit it half of the time instead of the space bar with my right thumb.
Anybody know of a keyboard that is exactly the same as the default Samsung Keyboard in 2.2 but with those buttons switched?
Hey guys,
Touchpal keyboard has just gone out of beta and has been released in the market. Its free until the end of October. Grab it while its free!
I've used many keyboards, including paid apps(swiftkey) and this is the best keyboard I've used on an Android phone. Swypes(they call it curve) better than swype, great word prediction, many options to customize the layout the way you want.
Surely worth a shot, even if your satisfied with your current KB

SMOOTH AS BUTTER!
Me and Flix123, are glad to present: Optimus U.I. 2.0, the definitive interface/launcher for Lg Optimus 2x. :highfive: It's a port of Optimus Sol launcher which is the stock Lg Launcher but very, very, very smooth also with livewallpapers! Try it! http://www.mediafire.com/?61n5sr6s9gi5tev
P.S. It's different from the 3D Max Launcher that gives you the ability to use themes at the expense of performance.
I must say thanks to Flix123!

It's only for stock roms if you want to delete homescreens you have to do a pinch to zoom in the home and drag the home on the trash
Just want to say thanks in advance... I got U.I. 3.0 atm on my P990.. Would you say that this is better? Also, can you remove it if you do not like it? I have also taken a look at the 3D Max Launcher, but haven't tried that because I am not sure what I want, any suggestions?
Once again, thanks a lot!
Are there any differences between this UI and the one from heils rom?

One of the best UI, I have ever used.:good:
Complete Optimus UI 2.0 (+ Widgets)
I made a Clockworkmod zip file which contains the Optimus UI 2.0 launcher and the Optimus UI 2.0 widgets. It's the complete 2.0 UI in one package!

It's embarrassing to ask stupid questions, but... How to activate it? Zip flashes successfully from CWM, but after reboot I see the standard stock O2x UI/launcher, and nothing seemingly relevant in the Apps list or in Settings... What am I missing?

Go to home selector in your Apps & you should able to see LG home & home, select the home coz for me that shows the UI 2.0 or else you can also go in Settings--Applications----Manage apps---all---LG home & clear defaults, then press the Home key & it should show you two LG launchers, select the one you want & make it as default.....
Hope this helps you....

Yeah, that's the first thing I tried... Shows only LG Home.

Did that. No effect, no choice on Home press, still only LG Home under Home Selector.
May be, it doesn't work on my ROM... Well, thanks, anyway!

The lg g3 ported kbd
Works on the ATT rooted s5 also
Been running it all day no issues.
Flashed it in Safestrap - no issues or conflicts (running Dynamic Kat) - works perfect. Thanks for the tip, I've been wanting to install this. Love the option to resize height and customize the layout.
Too iOS 7/8ish for me.
Would look pretty good inverted to dark theme....but still a nice add on to play with. ..
Thank you OP....g

Just what I was looking for! Thanks.
good keyboard. I still prefer the "material" themed google keyboard that used to be in the play store - seems to fit in well with the s5 touchwiz theme.
BUT this keyboard is great on my Tab 3, fits that touchwiz theme better.
all around it should be a huge wakeup call to Samsung just how bad their keyboards are.
Really, I love my stock keyboard. Themed by team visix
Not so bad
Awesome!
Anyone else having trouble getting haptic feedback to work
I used swift on my GS5, but haven't installed anything yet. The stock one is ok. What is everyone's favorite keyboards?

I used swiftkey on my GS5, not sure if I will use it on the GS6 yet.
Swype+ Dragon. Been using Swype since the first Galaxy S and I decided to buy it since the purchased version used to be better
I've always used Swype, but, I prefer the numbers at the top of the Samsung keyboard
google keybored
I gotta agree with Rodman on this one. Stock keyboard is not bad and I kinda liked swiftkey but Swype+ Dragon is hands down my favorite.
Stock is nice with the numbers at the top but just too big and not as accurate as others. I use Google keyboard now but was a swype user for years. I tried it on my GS6 but I don't like how they don't label the keys with numbers in material theme. But google and swype are close in accuracy for me.
google keyboard...modded with numbers up top
Touchpal #FTW. Seems the quickest and most flexible to me, and swiping on the delete key deletes the last word, which is a win
