Good day folks,
In the past I've unlocked a few Lumia's without paying for a code. I don't remember the tools I used to do so which is unfortunate. I'm also having a hard time finding any threads or articles that can guide me on how to manually unlock the two 625's I currently have which I bought for my parents.
I even purchased from cellunlocker.net, my own site, as well as ebay, and all came back as "Not Found" and was refunded my purchase price. Does anyone have any info on where I can find a solution to this? Greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Nobody has any idea? I've went through five or six unlock code suppliers and not a single one could find a code for me.
Bump
Bump +1. I've tried multiple providers as well. Code not found. Any help or direction would be appreciated!

Hi
I was wondering if someone from over the pond can help me. I have 2 G1 locked to T-mobile uk. And can't get the unlock codes to use other sims in them.
So was hoping that someone would be kind enough to help out, with getting the codes.
As I heard that T-mobile usa and others can get them easier.
Edit: sorry if this is the wrong place or wrong thing to ask. Will delet if asked.
Thank you

Just trying to unlock my US T-Mobile G1, I had two different unlocking services report back to me that they couldn't provide a code for my IMEI. Someone sent me a link to this ebay seller:
http://myworld.ebay.com/blowfish06
And this guy got me a code that worked, in just a couple of minutes.

Thank you. But I will pass on that one. As I heard that other T-mobile users. Not the uk ones thoe for some reason can get them for free from there service providers. Not sure if this is still the case thoe.

I personally would only use an eBay seller for unlock codes. There is a bit of a safety net with both the feedback system, as well as filing a dispute through eBay or Paypal.
Has anyone had luck in doing this? Everywhere I go and/or call tells me that they cannot unlock this device. Has anyone had any luck? Any help would be appreciated! I am not past paying for it, but each of the companies I've used have all refunded my money, they said they cant do it at this time and that's all they tell me. Any ideas?
Have you tried just asking TMo? They're usually happy to do it, one of several reasons I use them as my main carrier. Admittedly I don't have a 925, but they've never raised a fuss about my phones.
I got screwed and bought a sim locked phone - the nokia lumia 1320 - after a cricket rep told me that it "didn't need to be sim unlocked to use with t-mobile."
Now I'm trying to find a method to SIM Unlock said phone, I don't care whether or not it'll cost me money - I just want to be able to use my Lumia 1320 (from Cricket) on t-mobile...
Anyone have a solution for this predicament? Any help would be greatly appreciated, cause I've digged for hours and I can't seem to find a legitimate solution.

I've checked quite a few places and websites and it doesn't look like Cricket locked phones can be unlocked by third parties. No one I spoke to can do it. Some even have said that Cricket does some server type locking (a la iPhone?) that requires you to put in an unlock code only after they have completed some magic on their end. Almost everyone referred me back to Cricket... they do have a good unlocking policy.... but only if you're a Cricket customer for while. FYI, I have also bought locked 1320s (that were listed as unlocked) and sellers offered me unlock codes. None worked but strangely, I could attempt more times than the stated 5 or 10 tries in the unlocking dialer/menu. Strange.
If you found something, please to enlighten us. Otherwise, it looks like you're out of luck

I think I got super lucky today. I logged into the chat support on Cricket's website just ask if my 1320 IMEI number was unlockable. The rep said provide me with the IMEI number and I will provide you with the unlock code. I thought for sure he wasn't serious but sure enough he gave me a code which I immediately input into my 1320 and voila!! I then put my T-Mobile sim card into it and just like that, it's like it was always supposed to be like that.
Very lucky I think! My suggestion, keep trying with the Cricket chat and maybe you'll get a rep that feels like being generous.

That's great to hear you got it done! Good to know! US carriers now have a new (forced...) policy that they must provide unlocking methods for phones that are paid off, so it looks like things really are quite different. There's even a TMO webpage that you just input your info and you get your unlock code (even if it's a cheap $39 pay as you go phone)... totally something we aren't used to coming from a carrier reigns supreme era :good:
Just like many other posters, I have a Moto X 1st generation locked to AT&T which has been impossible to unlock for over a year. The difference in this case is that I've had 2 different unlock codes, provided by AT&T on phone which have not worked, giving the same message as it ever did (after any random numbers or tried codes): "network unlock request unsuccessful". I am now searching for unnoficial alternatives, as I believe my phone might be defective. Any alternative or enlightment on what I might have done wrong would be deeply appreciated.
P.S.: I am not the original owner of the phone. It was bought by my aunt in USA and months later given to me, then I brought it to Brazil.
there are few websites which send codes if paid

I forgot the name of the site.
but I once bought a code for my friend's T-Mobile Note 3 from a site.
Received the code within 15 minutes of payment.
I will check with him whether he has that mail (to find the name of the site)

Hey nijom,
I already have the code. I found out it's always the same code for any phone, as it comes from its IMEI. Problem is, the code that should work gives out an error message instead. Thanks for your help anyway!

Hi,
I'm having a similar problem. Tried the codes (from AT&T and also another vendor) and it didn't work. It's possibly permanently locked but I can't confirm. Did you ever manage to solve your problem?
Hi all, I want to sim/carrier unlock my S6 (SM-G920A) so I can bring it to MetroPCS. I've done plenty of research on sites offering carrier unlock services (cellunlocker, etc.) and although $25 isn't too incredibly bad, I read in another post that some members here have the ability to provide an unlock code for free or at a much cheaper rate. I'd rather give my cash (or sincere thanks if it can be done free) to an individual thats committed to the cause and independent from companies operating a cash-grab aimed at desperate mobile custies.
I PM'd some of the members who posted in various threads that said they could do it but none have responded. Anyone willing to help me with this? In advance, I appreciate your help. Again, my device is AT&T variant S6 SM-G920A. Big thanks!!
Any luck?
None yet. If even some recommendations for trustworthy (and reasonably priced) unlock services could be mentioned, that would be a big help too!
Try https://www.unlockbase.com/ I got my cousin's note 4 unlocked for $20 about a month ago and it was good service
When you can do it for free.
DON'T use cellunlocker.net. It took them about 4 days to come up with a code that didn't work. After being forced to upload several videos of me trying the unlock code and proving that my phone wasn't rooted or running a custom ROM, they still refused to issue a refund claiming my phone was modified. It's been 17 days and they still can't come up with a working code. Avoid them like the plague!
