hi bro i have HTC one unlocked international version i bought that from UK
and its
android version is 4.2.2 and
htc sens 5.0
software no. 2.24.401.8
htc sdk api level is 5.34
kernal version is 3.4010-g28df0d6 [email protected]#1
base band version 4A.17.3250.14_10.39.1150.04L
buid no. 2.24.401.8 CL235216
so iwant to flash or reinstall its official firmware into it pls give me firmware files which this phone will be supported and
how can i flash this please help me.

You're s-off or s-on?
You can't restore the phone as stock if you don't have the S-OFF, maybe you will be Relocked and the warranty can't accept your phone

Wait, when you boot in bootloader you can read s-on or s-off?
However, you can't push the 4.2.2 because there isn't any ruu atm.
So, you can restore your phone only if you're s-off...
And wait, is unlocked from HTCDev?

If you do not know what s-off or on is bro I would suggest you do some major reading before you attempt it

There is no RUU for that firmware, unfortunately, and you can't s-off either. I'm afraid you're stuck until a 4.3 RUU is released for WWE.

Bro, you can restore a stock nandroid bro. Then you can flash a stock recovery bro. The tampered will be gone, but it will still show relocked, so HTC will know you did something to it.

[HELP]My Touch Screen Is Not Working

After updating to ARHD 30.0 my touch screen worked for few days ..and then its not responding sometimes..after that i flashed 31.0 the problem continues again..pls help me how to get back my touch screen ??

How do I update rooted butterfly S to Android 4.3

Hello ,
I currently have a rooted HTC Butterfly S with Android 4.2 and the Maximus HD custom ROM installed. I want to update my phone to Android 4.3 to install some of the newer custom roms. I have no idea how to go about doing this and I don't wanna brick my phone .
I found a link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2422783 ) to download the stock ROM with 4.3 Android , will flashing it automatically update it?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

The stock 4.3 ROM won't update your firmware (hboot, radio and all the other stuff). You can update that manually even without S-OFF, I've written the instructions multiple times in this forum.
If you install the 4.3 stock ROM and then some other 4.3 ROM, you will accomplish exactly the same thing as if you simply installed the other 4.3 ROM straight away. In other words, installing the 4.3 stock ROM doesn't make any difference at all if you intend to install something else anyway.

would also like to clarify , I want to install this custom rom on my butterfly s ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557441) however I saw that it says Android 4.3 ,will I be able to install it on my phone which is running on android 4.2.2?

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't, but just to be on the safe side, always take a nandroid backup before installing anything. If it does not run, try to install the latest firmware as explained in the post linked above and try again.

it means that you should be running firmware 4.10.708.1.
btw i am on 3.06.708.3 and i've got no issues with this rom.
its my daily driver.

So by upgrading firmware I basically need to flash the latest RUU that is available for our device right anyways my os : 4.08.707.1 and i am running hboot 1.57 s-off, CID-HTC___038
can i just flash the rom after a clean wipe or do I need to install that firmware again because I am on 4.08 and do I need to change the CID aswell or just a clean wipe and install will do?

Backup your current rom, flash this rom just like flashing instructions and you're good to go.

No, you can only flash roms that are compatible with your phone variant i.e: M7CDx
There is almost no development for the dual sim variant. Look in the 4-5 threads dedicated to this variant in the general section and maybe you'll find something but afaik, there are only old roms there. Maybe you'll be able to find something on an Asian website.

Restore your phone using the appropriate RUU. Post the output of "fastboot getvar all" (hide your imei and serialno).

The 7.17.720.6 Lollipop RUU might work on your phone, its hard to tell since your version-main is missing from the getvar (often caused by twrp wiping it from the /misc partition). Try to flash it and report back if there is any error.

Well if you want to improve something, I wouldn't go 5 android versions back...
There isn't much development for that variant so forget about using custom roms and kernels. The Xposed framework with some modules like Amplify/Deep sleep/Wake lock detector might help. You can also use the power saver mode and dim your screen brightness. You can use Tasker to crate a battery friendly profiles.

i have installed xposed installer but in framework it says latest version of xposed is currently not active

Why version 67? The latest one is 80 so use this one. The M7 is using an arm cpu so you need the arm version and the sdk version is the android version installed on your phone. If your are running a 5.0.2 rom you need version 80 / arm / sdk21
