I'm sure that saved your phone as flashing a custom kernel without unlocking the bootloader will brick your device. Please read a bit, backup your TA-Partition and unlock your bootloader if you want to flash any custom kernel or aosp based rom.

Porblems Unlocking Bootloader

So I have unlocked my bootloader with the Flashtool
At least thats what Flashtool tells me, everytime I am trying to flash the Recovery i am getting an error, all instructions tell me to use "boot.img" but i am always pointed to some DooMxxxxxxxx.img I tried renaming that one to boot.img biut no luck. (am I just using the wrong image?)
Also when trying to use Sonys Method (command line) to unlock the bootloader(after relocking with Flashtool) I get an error message:

Thanks in advance
Why would you use towelroot when you got easy root method by the dev of doomkernel?

Because TowelRoot is easier to use.
OP, have you made sure that the bootloader of your device is unlocked?

Xperia Z bricked?

Hello, my Xperia Z (SO-02E) suddenly fails to boot. It was not rooted, there were no custom ROMs installed, it just stopped working.
When I connect it to charger, the screen turns on, displays the Sony logo, turns off and after a few seconds the loop starts again. When connected to computer it was recognised as S1Boot Fastboot device and led on phone is blue.
First I tried repairing it with Sony PC Companion, then flashed a new ROM with Flashtool (I also unlocked bootloader with Flashtool), but no success.
Is there anything else I can do, or is it hard-bricked?
you can try to reflash another ftf and hope that cures the problem .also then try the link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/development/kernel-unlocked-bootloaders-t3114234
or try installing the lp zip on these forums .
Thanks for the answer, but nothing works.

have you tried to flash ftf and see what happens
I tried several different ftf files, from stock android to lollipop. The program says it is properly installed and to reboot the device, but when I hold the power on button nothing happens.
to reboot try this hold power and volume up till it vibrates and see if it goes to sony logo .at least you can flash ftf so its gotta work somehow
---------- Post added at 07:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:40 PM ----------
you could try to fastboot the kernel from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/development/kernel-unlocked-bootloaders-t3114234
and install the zip version of lp and run super su to root then see if you get it working .
it doesnt vibrate, the screen doesnt turn on neither does led...
ok, how do I install zip files, with flashtool?
you download the lp zip and then use flashtools to flash the kernel which contains the recovery that can install your zips .
and I copy zip files to sd card, right?
but after installing kernel i cant get to recovery, nothing shows on screen and phone goes into fastboot mode
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/stock-c6602-customized-10-6-0-454-t3114152
i think you must Rename Philzboot.img.apk to boot.img and fastboot it only works for unlocked bootloaders .
if you have then its volume up .yes you can add zips to sdcard .
I renamed it, and flashed boot.img, my bootloader is unlocked (at least it says I can only relock when i press BLU)
but then i cant turn it on
okay try force power off which is power and volume up it should shut it down and power on and volume down to get to recovery
yeah, but nothing shows on screen, wahtever the combination i press
the only way to get something on screen is to plug the charger in and then the loop with sony logo starts
ah just tested my phone and its volume down just after you power it on okay
the problem is, it doesnt respond to anything i press
can you show it in flashtools and mybe i can have a look and see what its doing
i get this when flashing kernel boot.img

i think the ftf is wrong somehow .i would use flashtools and go to check updates and select your model and select version you want and let it download the files and decript them then select them and create ftf file .
sometimes xperiafirm can have the wrong stuff creating ftf file .so thats why i say this way .always works for me .

Xperia SP- Bricked After Trying To Flash CM12.1?

Did I brick it?
So my sweet old SP seems kinda in between the kinds of bricks I find on this forum, so before giving elaborate background stories, this is the condition my phone is in after attempting to flash CM12.1 (first time doing such things which was probably what went wrong):
Without power cable, turning device on gives one short buzz, volume up + power button the same and a blue flash volume down a green flash. Thats all they do, black screen and no signs of life afterwards.
Now with power cable connected to my PC and powering up while holding one of the volume buttons it is recognised on the PC (unknown device in the device manager). I downloaded FlashTool, which whined about drivers but those couldn't install for some reason, so I unpacked the installer and manually installed what I thought were the correct drivers.
Now FlashTool sees the device connected in FlashMode (curiously disconects and reconnects every minute) or Fast Bootmode (whatever those mean, I'm a noob and yeah I hate myself) but I cant actually flash anything.
Is there hope? Or did I screw up?
Thank you very much for even reading my pathetic plea.
Have you tried using PC Companion to restore your phone? Maybe your phone doesn't have enough charge, that might be what's preventing Flashtool from working properly.

I'll try it, but when I started flashing I had 100% and last time I (could) check it was still around 90%.
UPDATE: Charging makes green led burn, also I find it strange that PC companion didn't recognise the phone as being a phone either

Try on another PC with another cable. Preferably on Windows 7.

Somehow this did the trick... I could update the drivers directly and everything just worked.
Many thanks!
