Hi,
The camera went into safe mode by itself yesterday. I managed to get it out from the same. Took some great shots. At the end of the day, it went back into safe mode and i cant find any of the photos i took. My mac no longer recognises the device. What can i do to retrieve the photos and how do i solve this issue.
thank you

hey,
i currently use the Hyperdragon III BlackStone Build.
Recently i noticed i had a duplicate DCIM foldero n my 4gb memory card. every photo i took was duplicated aswell. Not thinking anything of it i left it.
Today i take 3 photographs. While i am viewing the on the screen goes off. so i bring it back out standby and try to skip to the next image. only, the next image is the same image.
i turn the phone off and back on, to a screen under images saying "no pictures avaliable". Now every time i take a photo it seems to just get dumped.
Is there a way i can fix this? and although unlikly, can i recover my lost images?
cheers

BUMP!
i desperatly need help with this, none of my photos will save, not even to main memory...
Please post your inssue in the thread for the Rom you are currently using.
I posted the below summary in the Sticky thread at the top but received no response so I figured I'd try it here.
I have a unlocked US Touch Diamond which I purchased new through Amazon last November.
When I take a picture with the camera, no matter which option i choose (the back arrow which saves it, album or e-mail/sms) it will hang with the "wait" disc moving in the center. After several minutes it may go back into camera mode but it does not save the picture anywhere.
I have checked internal storage & main memory. I have tried changing the camera settings to save to both (which have ample storage space available)
I've rebooted, and tried several different settings & resolutions to no avail.
I'd like to avoid a hard reset, but I haven't successfully taken a camera pic in a month.

I'm having the same problem for some weeks. I upgraded operator firmware (German Vodafone) to a newer version and applied my usual tweaks, now I can't take any photos any more.
But: Video recording works fine, preview works as usual, and sports mode seems to work - at least i don't see the "work" disc in center. I have to close camera in the task manager and the pictures are all green (with some distortion).
I tried to undo my camera tweaks (using TF3Dconfig and DiamondTweak), but had no success.
Maybe I'll try a hard reset some day...
Double post - whatever...
Still get no answer? I also got the same problem with my another phone. That's why I get diamond 2.
I had a similar issue:

Thanks for that. But the problem still ain't solved.
Maybe the technicians in the carrier company will solve that.(But my last phone is no longer in warranty.)
solved
I had forgotten I had used Advanced Config to change the "Encode Photos in Portrait Mode" option to "Yes"
I switched it back to "No," soft rebooted and I'm back to snapping pictures...
Hi all!
Recently my girlfriend's phone has "crashed". It just reboots over and over and over again, it's not a 'bootloop' because it does comepletely start up but after a few seconds reboots itself again. Now I think I could fix this problem by rooting it and putting on a diffrent rom because I think the problem is in the software somewhere. So a complete hard reset should do the trick (I think).
Anyway my question is:
Is it possible to backup photo's, text messages and contacts without booting the phone?
Photo's is underlined because this is a really important thing for my girlfriend because there are some photo's on the phone she's emotionally attached to and these photo's are nowhere else but on her phone.. Yes, I know, it's not ideal that we never made a backup of these photo's before but this is how it went and we hope somebody who's a genius can help is with this problem.
The phone is stock, never been rooted or anything. Never been reset and it's been up and running for 1,5 year now.
Regards,
Merwin.
While traveling overseas my battery in my Xperia LT29i shat out on me, and by the time I made it home and ordered a new battery I realized I had forgotten the pin number.
I have spent the last several days guessing, to no avail, my phone is set to airplane mode, so I can't use google's recovery/reset.
I don't care about saving anything else on the phone, but I really REALLY want my pictures- is there anyway I can flash something / use the microSD or any other trick to either turn airplane mode off and possible reset the password that way, or, can I simply extract the photos via USB or something else?
At this point I don't even care about saving the phone, I can take it apart and remove anything to get my photos back.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks
Since yesterday when i took a video of mine with the Front Camera inside Instagram , most of the apps like Whatsapp are Freezing The Camera App wont open any kind of videos , images inside Whatsapp wont load properly anymore
idk what to do i did already try to delete the videos from last night but that didnt fix the issue , the phone is simply going bananas .. i am really thinking in restore the phone from 0
if anyone could help me it would be nice ... i guess Color OS isnt so ready yet as i was thinking.
Had to Restore the Phone via Recovery Mode , idk if that issue came because i had trouble with the Original Charger (Which is using an Adapter for EU) it wasnt plugged in correctly last night and gave bad contact to the phone i guess that the software went crazy after that ... now the phone is okay again
