[Q] Should I use RRU or CWM Nandroid Backup? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I unlocked my HTC One and installed a custom ROM. Then found out about the purple tint manufacturing fault and that I could get it fixed.
Now I am planing to restore it to Stock as per the guides on here so I can send it in to the service centre.
The only problem is that I cant seem to find the right RRU.
my phone is the Australian unbranded model HTC_039
On the RRU listing page I can't see any for this model, instead all I can find is a CWM Nandroid Backup.
Can someone please explain which RRU I should use or, if I should be using a CWM Nandroid Backup instead, how that would work?
Thanks!!!

Just incase this helps...
My phone was originally

eMMC-boot 2048MB

While you have the 1.55 HBOOT, you should get S-OFF. Much easier to do everything when you're S-OFF. Then you can go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52986564&postcount=1 and grab the 5.14.531.1 nandroid, flash it with TWRP and you'll be stock T-Mobile with the latest OTA. You can then root it easily by just flashing superuser.

[Q] HTC One UK Unlocked

So last week I used the HTCdev utility to unlock the bootloader on the M7, however I noticed the bootloader says unlocked plus the Flashlight and Calculator apps are missing much to my dismay. I'm not too sure how to get my phone back to how it was.
Additional Info:
On fastboot the following is shown:
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.57.0000
RADIO-4T.27.3218.14
OpenDSP-v.32.120.274.0909
OS-5.11.401.10
eMMC-boot 2048MB
May 5 2014, 23:16:29.0
If the solution requires S-OFFing I've tried that but I receive an error when using Rumrunner.
Thanks for your help.

[Q] How to find proper RUU for my device?

I bought an HTC One in Spain (it came with the traditional Sense interface) and some time ago, I flashed the Google Play Edition ROM in it. Now I want to go back to stock.
My question is, how do I find which one of the available RUUs is the right one for my device?
Before flashing, I took the following info:
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RH
CID-HTC__304
HBOOT-1.54.0000
RADIO-4A.17.3250.14
OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617
OS-2.24.401.1
eMMC-boot 2048MB
I think the MID is PN0710000.
Thanks in advance.

With s-off you can flash any RUU with x.xx.401.x in it
the preferred RUU would be http://www.androidruu.com/getdownlo...10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1.exe
That would at least get you up to Sense 5.5

Thank you, I'll try this one.
Actually, my reason for going back to stock is because I think flashing GPe screwed up my radio and I've had problems with my mobile provider, specially with 3G traffic (the radio after flashing GPe is 4T.21.3218.21).

The only way for you to update immediately will be to get s-off, or you will just have to wait until it's released to your operator, you would ha e to change your cid, your mid, and then back flash a developer edition ruu, and they all require s-off for which you will have to pay $25.
401 firmware is the wrong one for your device also, the key is in your os version, 700

TAMPERED shows that you use custom software on your phone. For example root, recovery, rom.
You could lock your phone with "fastboot oem lock" If you need to install a RUU.
More infomations needed for your issuse. It looks like a normal unlocked device. Informations to Rom, Recovery and more details.
Greetings
Crytix
