After creating new photo albums in gallery on my Samsung tab 2 only the camera album is loaded to extSdCard. As I use the MicroSd in various devices I would love to know how I can change the settings so that additional albums (I.e. holiday photos ) are loaded to extSdCard and not internal memory.
I have all necessary apps installed to solve (running custome rom on gingerbread ), but just don't know what I need to change or reprogram?
Grateful to any of you guys or dolls for a solution.
Thank you!

Hi
I have just flashed ICS 4.0.3 and the camera app does not have an option to choose where the photos I take should be saved. In Gingerbread I was able to choose between internal and external SD. With CM7 i was on top of that able to choose that my external SD is used as internal.
Here in ICS 4.0.3 Camera app does not have anything in the settings that would let me choose where I want my photos to be stored.
Does anyone have any clue if it is possible?

You can use a different camera app than the stock one..
I use Camera Zoom Fx (it's a paid app) .. far better than the current stock camera app.. it supports zoom and have many more features and you can choose the save location too..
I know... I have many other apps.. but Still use the stock one as the main and usually store images on ext sd for safety...
Hello everybody!
As per title I am opening gallery and it sees only items installed in the internal sd, how can I let gallery look at .jpg files registered on the EXT SD ? I am not used to this filesystem. For example linking through USB to the car audio system let you listen only to songs installed on the internal SD.
ALL other considerations on the ROM are: perfect, particularly regarding battery life. Didn't find options for my SIP number account, using Sipdroid flawlessly .
Regards.
Alessandro
Try to force media files check. Go in Settings , Sdcard and memory, and unmount/remount sdcard.
Thanks for your reply, tried also folders rescan in dev tools, seems it scans EXT EMMC also but no results . Must look into some older thread in Acer Liquid, I remember smthg regarding a COOLIRIS.MEDIA file in sdcard in order to let device look into specific media for the type of files.
Will come back with results .
Regards , Alessandro.
So, I found that msg., but it regarded an old 2.2 version of Android for the Acer Liquid, and it said to cancel file in Android/data/, all the files in Cooliris.media, and reboot; maybe System remounts files in the SD when scanning for media and rebiults this file properlY ( it seems now untouched from the 23 of December ). Turning to EXT 4 as I am now maybe left EXT Sdcard unchanged: even if I set photos to be recorded in the external, photo is actually recorded only in internal SD ( which is a bit ..... full now, with nandroid etc. ) .
Need help.
Regards
Alessandro
solved
Found I had from 5/1/2012 a .NOMEDIA file in the root of External SD: deleted it and ... problem solved.
I have an album in my photos which was picked up from my SD card (a music folder which had an image called fanart.jpg for XBMC use). I deleted the image (and it disappeared from the album), but the folder still remains. If I delete the album by a long press, it just immediately comes back again. If I format or remove the SD card it goes through the process of 'updating' but still this album will not go!
Any help would be much appreciated.

Still no joy with this (even with the SD card removed). If I do a factory reset will the backup restore everything as it was?
Hi Guys,
i have installed on my s3 mini the MIUI Rom from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454739&page=40
