The original P6 had the same internals (SOC, radios, resolution) as the Mate. This meant that P6 roms would work on my Mate. Does anyone know if this is the case with the P7 and the Mate2? I have a few more questions, if anyone can shed some light, that would be awesome.

If a ROM is developed based on this new 9106W lollipop, how universal will it be across different variants? I have the US T-mobile N4- the SM-910T and was wondering if it might work. I know most international ROMs need to be ported for my particular model.
I'm also downloading the file from Baidu and can post a mirror if needed- it says 1.5 hours left or so

I cant say for sure my friend.. honestly ive heard of this variant just today.. i would prefer if we all kept our hopes low because that would mean less pressure all i can promise is that ill try.. and i will be using my abused phone as a guinea pig lol

Hmmm... its dual sim.. processor is the same.. what always worries about not being able to make it work is the kernel.. from sammobile:

Hi there too! From my experiences, every Mediatek powered device gets bricked after flashing the framework. It also caused Bootloops on my Jaiyu G4S... So Mediatek and Xposed aren't the best friends and it'll be very likely to brick your Chinese monster, too!

Well I have the 9.0.0.168 software which has no GPU turbo..I know from reading a considerable amount of threads on the forum that quite a lot of devices received the first GPU Turbo some time in August last year..
So I would like to collect some info on which device have this installed I would like u to give me whether Ur on emui 9 or emui 8.1and what version software u have ect what country and what network u use for example..

Misunderstood your Q a bit, you are on Pie (9.0.0.168), you have AppAssistant but not GPU Turbo in Settings/About…/Version? Strange.
I’m in Sweden on 9.0.0.163 and I have GPU Turbo in Settings/……

Exactly my point ..u had this whilst on 8.1.. In the UK I never had it on 8.1 on any update I received I never had it now on 9.0 I still don't have it.so my aim is to collect as much info about who has a or hasn't had the GPU turbo update.. region,carrier,ect

I'm on O2 UK c782 pie. Same as you and the same scenario, I have app assistant but in the about device nothing saying GPU Turbo ?
Huawei has said that the GPU turbo update for the UK has not been released yet...why ..who knows when.. maybe some time this year
Could anybody post me the app assistant apk please. I guess I must have deleted it when setting up after my pie update.
