Hi,
I'm currently on 10.2.1 ovation on my Nook HD+ but its lags as hell! Almost unusable. I wonder if there's a better more stable ROM that works smoothly?
Thanks
Well, I haven't used CM 10.2 in a while, so I can't compare them directly, but I think the current CM 11 Snapshot M9 is better, and it's running stable for me.

Hi all,
I am thinking of putting Cyanogenmod on my galaxy note but noticed that the latest stable release is 9.1. I checked galaxy s and there is 10.1.2 stable for it.
Why is the stable releases of Cyanogenmod only upto 9.1? Ideally I would like to have the latest android release

It's because of the Exynos SoC that this phone uses. More details here:

If you want a (relatively) new and stable CyanogenMod then you can use the last 10.1 Nightly (Android 4.2.2):

Remember to download 10.1 and not 10 or 10.2

Interesting. So how stable are the nightly releases? Can they be used on a daily basis or are they full of bugs?
10.1 is very stable and 10.2 is good and is what I use as my daily driver with no problems as per my use internet, hotspot, games, and all normal phone usage text,MMS,and phone only thing 10.1 has in my opinion is slightly better battery and when it comes to nightlys the most current is the best to use. With all that said if you get it 10.2 you my have a random nightly that will cause a boot issue that my have to flash other stuff to get phone working right. Read ROM threads and make a choose as what is for you

I run CM 10.1 on my Android phone and saw there is a CM project available for this device, but wanted to ask the gurus here, what is the most stable ROM for this device that is available?
Milaq's 10.1 is about as stable as you can get, but no further development is happening on Jelly Bean as the best devs - milaq, flintman notably - are working on kitkat. Which is usable on a daily basis but still a WIP.
Jcsullins 10.1 roms are also worth a download.
Try them and see what you think.
Peace

Thanks for the info. I'll probably stick with Milaq's 10.1 as I will still need it for daily use and need just about all features functioning.
I have been away for sometimes on this thread and am a bit confused about what rom would be really solid stable CM 12.1. I dont look forward to dump of tweaks. Stock CM would be nice too! So, Please tell me which CM you are using and you think is best and of course without bugs.
Thanks in advance. Peace.
I don't think that there's the "best" CM 12.1 ROM, all are nightly builds. I'd suggest you to install the latest version unless you want to use the relatively old Snapshot release.
I installed the latest nightly build on yesterday, working fine so far!
Hi,
I use Nook HD+ in my workplace only because its the tablet with no camera. I currently have CM10 and looking to update it to CM11 or 12 but not sure which version is the most stable. I don't care about the fancy features, just need no-lag and no crashes.
Which ROM and version (nightly/snapshot?) should I go for?
Thanks
Latest CM 11 nightlies is the most stable (in my opinion, of course). Tested it on my HD and HD+, my choice for both devices. Get it here for your HD+: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=ovation
Mokee

Pacman ROM has been great for me. CM worked OK until I tried some of the unofficial Lollipop versions. I haven't tried Mokee, but pacman incorporates features from it.

I've used Tesamek's CM11.0 ROM for a long time without many problems. The display does flicker every now and then. Currently trying the CM13.0 ROM.
