I don't think there are official micromax slim builds. And micromax is the exception to the GPL rule here on XDA

Also dude if u want help in making builds... Will be happy to help u.... As it is unofficial u can also cherry pick few commits and use saber mod toolchain(trust me ppl like to here fancy stuff) build twice a week? So that it gains popularity eg Slimsaber.

Yeah. Do every night with a build script. But lol I have so many Slim devices that I really need to upgrade my laptop. I have a 128gb SSD and I need maybe 512gb lol which is expensive. That's why I'm always reminding people to donate if they like my work, so I can make cooler stuff

Why not scrap slimkat (no offence slim team) and build omni nightly as it is in alpha stage a nightly build will grab more attention and if ROM gets popular than u get more base means some donations?

I build slim for a lot of devices. for the cancro means just 20 more gb of space rather than 50. there won't be a slim build for a while because i'm in the hospital right now...so hang tight until further notice

The reason I ask is that I wanna check something for quite some time now on a build-from-source AOKP.
(adding the p990 to vendor_aokp and referencing the P990 device tree).
Based on the about phone screenshot I'd say it is, if it's not I'll do it myself, it's no biggie.
But if it really is - could you (or anyone) please flash kk 116, OC to 1.5GhZ, run an antutu benchmark two times and post a screenshot of the detailed scores?
I need to compare some results.
Edit: oh by square toggles you probably mean the quicktoggles.

AOKP is actually pretty decent ROM, it had its bugs and quirks, but i hope they got it to a point when its able to replace my daily driver. Will test it a bit later today and report bugs if i find any

Even if someone is thinking that way, let me inform them that the projects you worked on earlier like B2G we very hard ones, and would have had low chances of success for majority of others too. But it was good that you tried, got to learn a lot and came out with this ROM now, looking forward to more work from you

Ok I uploaded this, It's pretty incomplete and exists ONLY for people who are curious; this cannot be used as a daily driver; a lot hasn't been translated and the UI is totally mangled because of resolution differences.
This is only for people who are curious about the general direction MIUI is going in, it will not be pleasant or beautiful; minds will not be blown using this firmware a lot of work has to happen still

Yes, I'm currently resizing the entire UI though so maybe a few days I'll push a more complete build; the fact that this is here bodes well though because msm8960 is my phone I intend to use this for myself too

Basically I don't take money for developing because I do it for me, in the spirit of that I've decided to direct all my attention onto the only device I own since doing work for other devices really does not benefit me
I would like to do work on S5 TouchWiz, Sense 6. I want to work on interesting firmware that is challenging and this has almost become an art project at this point since at a code level everything mostly works. I have to admit I wasn't really prepared for that.
So pretty much if you folks have seen any firmware of interest let me know in PM and I will try to bring it to the MSM8960 tree
In regards to this I really can't give an ETA, I'd frankly rather just work on something else

any rom that uses the MIUI theme manager would be a rom worth looking at....all other theme managers are crap compared to MIUI.....

Root seems to be broken. When using root app, there is no request for SU perm that pops up

This one is also not compatible with the LG-D415.you have one you van try it. Wont work. One is omething like a7and what you need is like 7sa or some such, not teying it again for the specifics but trust me.

Is that what happened? Wow if i made a mistake i will go back and personally take it back. For what its worth. This was the only recovery i found that downloaded. It said it was good, im a man of honor, i will go search for this other recovery and fix all posts. I really did have a hell of a time fixing this thing and if it was due to my ignorance i will surely own it,

Running smooth, but had a hiccup.
I flashed the ROM, nano pa gapps, and the qremote app. First boot gave constant phone and media has stopped error.
Went back and installed without the qremote app and everything is smooth.

And by clean flash you wiped cache, dalvek chance, system, and data?
Also try different gapps maybe? I use 7-29 banks minimal.
Did you flash anything else with the ROM and gapps? As shown above, one poster was having issues flashing the qremote.
You need to give more information.

I'm on 26A and everything is butter so far, including phone. So maybe a bad download or something?

First of all this build is released in Chinese Forum .
Has Got Lot of Bugs . Anyways atleast we have got working build of Nougat .

From what i read only real bugs are mobile data and camera

Thanks to the dev team who made this rom. I think it shouldnt take much time for things to get fixed
For anybody who want to complain about things missing functions.
Wait atleast a week before you start complaining because this is not stable yet and we have to give the dev the time they need and should show respect.

Well nobody has complained yet in this thread and the only off topic post I see is yours ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Faaaantastic good to see this and in such a short amount of time.
This build is pointless, CM14 is unfinished hence lots of bugs. It's better to base first build off pure AOSP what I was going to do, I was gonna work on Nougat for 3 devices but my PC is too slow to compile Nougat and my career is over now, lol.
Nice to see new N rom coming to oneplus 3 hope will be stable soon so i can instal it !

I didnt say that somebody clomplained but well it seems like some people allways find something to complain about.
That said i will not reply to any further comment of you and i dont feel trolled yet. try again tommorow... Maybe i will care then.
